Pastor K spoke to me when he said” Even working women still having that nagging feeling when they not raising their children full-time”. I have a senior position in Corporate and side business yet in I am trusting God to turn my side business into a full-time one so that I can be more involved in my children activities. This is a burden that is on my mind, spirit and prayer on a daily basis. God will honour my desires in Jesus Christ Name.

If I had listened to this kind of preaching when I was still with my ex-husband, only God knows where I would have been. Maintaining my individuality while being “one” with my ex is what saved me and enabled me leave the marriage.
I later married my classmate and very old friend who has brought so much joy and peace to my life.
We need to stop this one-size-fits-all mentality when preaching about marriage - many lives have been wrecked because of it.
That said, many parts of the preaching were spot on and blessed me.

If you had listened intently, you would understand that there was an allusion to knowing your partner and being friends with that person when you are dating and also understanding what marriage is about before getting into it. They not painting a one size fits all picture. They were talking about what expectations one should have before marriage so you are not suddenly surprised when certain things start happening.

@@aemiamachree9909, marriage is a very personal thing - I believe people typically know when they are done - some choose to continue enduring and be unhappy in it, while some choose their happiness, count their losses and leave. I don’t think it’s what anyone advises on - it behoves on the people involved. What works for me may not work for another person - the situations and people involved are different.
I was married to my ex-husband for 13 years. He is an extremely violent man.
I don't know why sometimes the right man comes not being what you dream of physically but good enough in bondage between you two and brings peace and love , honesty and loyalty. I mean my boyfriend of 2years now is my first one to last long and looking at your preachings , and what God tells me I have a feeling that it will all go well. It's like we were meant to meet because of how helpful and completing he is to me. And friendship has been our foundation. There's nothing that I can't discuss with him because we already knew eachother ,we are just knowing some little more. 🥰 May God bless you two. Thank you for teaching to us what we need to know. Women waiting for the man is updated to me. Women should step up and go for thier dream man. Some will say the man will take you cheap but he should rather take you as a, goal getter. It works sometimes. If it does for the men why not the woman. I have a sister who made the 1st move and today the man says, he is the most blessed in the whole world and happy super happy she did what she did
