What kinds of bird friends do you have
@@MARLENEMCCOHEN blue jays, black birds, finchs, doves, pigeons, all kinds even eagles when I'm up north. I travel a lot with my budgie Sammy. It's really him who makes friends and the birds just tolerate me. Lol I love your videos.

If you go to Ireland you have to go to killarney is the best town and then you have to go to falconry kerry and meet Liam!!

Loved you visiting the falconry as much as last time! Ireland is the best...been twice and made it up to Glencolmcille in co. Donegal to visit family both times. There is a raw beauty to the landscape like nowhere else. Thank you for taking us along.

Hello Marlene, I have recently adopted a 5 year old Green Cheek Conure from a family member. He was kept in his cage and very rarely let out. He has had his cage open from morning to bedtime under my care, but he has a biting problem and I’m having trouble taming his (for instance teaching “step up”). Please give me some tips on how to teach him that biting is not okay. Thanks.

How lovely! I live in a retirement community and there is a group coming in a couple of weeks with some birds of prey, they call the event Hunters of the Sky and I can't wait. We have Red Tailed Hawks, Kestrels, different owls, and peregrines locally. I am sure they will let us know what else lives nearby.

Greetings! I’ve been watching your channel for a few months now and I have a question. I’m about ready to get my first gray. I don’t know another way to contact you so I thought I’d post my question here and maybe you’ll see it. Here’s my question….. I’m building my house now and I was thinking about incorporating a large cage into the build. My idea is to build a large cage outdoors and allow the birds to to access the cage, at will, via an open window that leads from the house into the cage. Does that make sense? In other words I’ll build a large cage outside and use one of the exterior windows of the house as the cage door. I’m wondering if there’s a danger to the birds being in close contact with local wild birds. Is there a risk of disease? I want them to have plenty of room to roam around and play while I’m gone and they’ll be in their cage. I was actually thinking of making my front porch as a large cage but I think there’s too much risk of them getting out. I hope that wasn’t confusing. Thank you for sharing your knowledge to all is noobs.
