Sir I'm from lndia. Last suterday(04/11/23) I got an burn owl. But owl unfortunately suffering for electric shock. The Owl doesn't open her/his claws. And doesn't stretch legs properly. Kindly if you any suggestions.
Awww spwecial but how sad about Finn😢. You really do live a wonderful life Robert and it must be very rewarding watching the fruits of your labour. I know I’m late here but I’ll be looking out for Gylfie & Dryer🦉🇦🇺🕊️
@@RobertEFuller love this channel! Learned everything Barn Owl although we are in Texas so ours breed all year round but without you, they wouldn't have a box this year!, thank you for being so inspiring! Huge plus is our kitties love being out on the catios at night watching the wildlife we thankfully have due to your inspiration 🫶🫶🫶
The shot of Finn hunting for Gylfie is just breathtaking. He was such a handsome owl. He was a loving and loyal partner and amazing father. This pair and their lives together touched my heart. I’m so glad Gylfie has Dryer now but there’s no one as special as Finn.
What I loved about Finn above all else was how he seemed so happy and proud to see each new egg/chick appear. He always wanted a good look at them even if it meant worrying Gylfie lol. And when he stumbled upon the untended nests of rival birds, he didn’t eat or destroy their eggs, just looked at them seemingly as proudly as his own. I miss Finn so much 🦉❤️
Was it just my imagination, or did Gylfie jump w nervousness when Finn was walking on the eggs? He was def gentle enough, of course. She was just obviously mother-level gentle... Finn's so great and sweet tho. Fathers in my family were usually on the, "Let him stick his hand on the stove. He'll learn," side.
Finn was so lovely and loving. It's very poetic that his adopted brother found his way to Gylfie after his untimely demise. You will be missed, Finn. Good luck to Dryer and Gylfie for the future
Aww this was wonderful to watch. Finn will always be missed because he was a good boy and a wonderful father, but I’m glad we’ll all get to come back and honor his legacy
What a beautiful tribute to such a loving pair of owls. The devotion Finn showed to Gylfie and his brood is the epitome of what it means to be a mate and dad. RIP Finn, your legacy will live on in your chicks.❤
I first watched Gylfie and FInn after watching Ghost and Willow and it was a WORLD of difference. Where Ghost would be a bit of a deadbeat and just give food then leave, Finn would spent all his free time with his beloved wife and chicks.
I'm never able to watch Gylfie & Finn videos without having tears flowing out my eyes. The devotion, curiosity and sometimes inexperient acts of Finn made his death to be really painful for me. RIP the best father and partner BO of Fotherdale!
It’s the same for me. It’s painful to watch footage of Finn; I love him so much and just seeing him brings tears to my eyes. I’m just a few minutes in and I’m already crying. He truly was a pinnacle of unwavering devotion, and such a kind soul. He will always be missed. Sleep well, dear Finn, and fly high.
I'm trying not to humanise them too much, but it really almost seems as though the chicks sensed that their dad wasn't coming back, and thought: "Right, well, we'll have to look after each other then, mum's busy". It's very touching the way they shared food. With Finn, it's two of my favourites who died/disappeared this year (Jeff being the other). I just hope Luna continues to be safe! I love that little tawny 🥰
I love all of these heartwarming stories. I have so many favorite pairs. Gylfie & Finn, Luna & Bomber, Willow & Ghost, Mr & Mrs Kes, Jeff & Jenny. There have been so many that seem to have moved on. Some have passed away and some, we may never know. Thank you for giving these beautiful animals a voice and telling their story. For those of us that don’t live in your neck of the woods, it gives us a glimpse of a quieter time and real nature, with a twist. These animal pairs have become my friends and think about them during my day. For those that have been lost, you will be greatly missed. For those that may soon arrive, we welcome you with open arms. 💜
I think I will have to watch this video in portions - I’m just a few minutes in, and I’m already crying. It’s so painful to watch footage of our beloved Finn; I love him so much and just seeing him fills me with emotion and brings tears to my eyes. He truly was a pinnacle of unwavering devotion, and such a kind soul. Beautiful Finn, you will always be missed. Sleep well, dear Finn, and fly high.
If it wasnt for your observations of these wonderful creatures we would never now their story. Thanks Robert for showing us its business as usual in the wild.
Thank you, dear REF, for all the effort you have put in to create this lovely tribute to our wonderful Finn. Rest in peace and fly high, Finn. Never to be forgotten❤.
I still remember when the video of you finding Finn came out... my heart was broken. He really was such an incredible and beautiful boy. He'll forever be in my heart ❤️
Lovely video! Brought my daughter and I to tears at Finn dying. But love seeing how you and Gylfie work together for the Owlets to thrive. Wonderful that Dryer and Gylfie have each other now.❤
Thank you Robert for sharing the love story of Finn and Gylfie with the world, truly. It was a privilege to see them and the devoted love between them, and I will always miss Finn, he was a ray of light and such a beautiful and kind soul. Thank you for letting us be part of his life ❤️
Fynn was an amazing Owl- from being in the Super Brood to being an Adult. So many times I watched him on the Live-Stream being silly and Adorable 😂. He is truly missed 😢❤
Finn was my favorite character on this channel. He was funny to watch and we got to see him transform from an eager and clumsy bachelor to a devoted dad and partner. When the first chick from the last clutch hatched I said they should name it Figgy as a play on Finn and Gylphie's names. I'm still upset that didn't happen.
So sad for Finn. I will miss him a lot. He seemed to be dedicated to taking care of Gylfie while she takes care of the brood. The watering holes will be properly installed in the future. Thank you for the wonderful videos.
Hi, Robert! This lovable couple will be unforgettable, for their loyalty, dedication and kindness!! Thank you for this great tribute, a real love story!!! 🦉🦉🙌🤩😍🙏🤗😃
