I think this is the perfect time for it, I've always been told gin is much more of a summer than a winter drink! Best gin I ever had had a finish of peppermint and vanilla.

I snorted at that. That gin was my grandmother's favorite gin. We found just bottle after bottle in her home after she passed. She had little bottles labeled "holy water" that were filled with that gin so she could sneak it into mass. She was in fact a bad guy, but also kind of a legend for sure.

It is "holy water" in a way it makes you need to relieve your "sinful liquids" after downing a few shots.
She was a smart lady, Irish for whiskey is ishka baha (phonetic spelling) meaning "water of life." 🥃

Out of these I've only tasted the Blackwater No. 5 and it's in my top five :) Really a nice gin. Also, if you want to continue exploring the world in gin, try Harahorn Gin from Norway - the regular one. It's probably the smoothest gin I've ever had and it's right up there on the top of my list as well as being the one I recommend people who are new to gin and not really keen on it.
Lena was the star of this one. Let's work on her tolerance, shall we? lol

I'm not a big drinker at all. In fact I don't even like beer so it's nice to live vicariously through this channel.
I was a bit surprised by Lena's burps, but she isn't afraid to let one (or two) rip, so I'm okay with it.
We have a few distilleries up here in the Mid-Hudson Valley, and they all make very nice gin. Never juniper heavy. The Half-Moon Gin from Tuttletown Distillery is participant nice, much more botanical.
(The Half-Moon was the name of Henry Hudson's ship, hence the name.)
I, for one, would love to see "Irish Try Scotch". The very concept of watching Justine or Shannon deal with an Islay makes me laugh.

I recently purchased Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin. Oriental botanicals and gunpowder tea. It's different, but I liked it from my first sip.
