The Try channel needs to make a video where they get the contributors to literally drink a whiskey drink, then a vodka drink, then a lager drink, and finally a cider drink. Then the video after that can be one of their 'Drunk Irish People Try...' not being 70 shades of ill everywhere?

    Dear Try Team,
Thanks so much for this video. I’m not really a fan of vodka, however I love tamarind. A few weeks after watching this video, I decided to try a local store to purchase a bottle. They didn’t have it, so off I went to a provincial store (I live in Canada). Not luck there either. They even searched to see if any other store in the province had it in stock, but alas, I was SOL. Went to the Smirnoff page and checked to see where I could possibly purchase a bloody bottle. Just my luck, only in the US. Called the closest store and they did have bottles in stock.
I spent almost 3 hours round trip to buy a bottle. Some lovely Sheriff Deputies answered my call for directions (not to worry, they were on a coffee break), and off I went to buy this bottle that I prayed would taste amazing.
I’m not sure you understand the somewhat embarrassment I felt when answering why I was entering their country and then on the way back, what I was doing in my short stay in the US. Needless to say, all border crossing guards were pretty understanding about my situation.
I finally got a chance to try this Spicy Tamarind Vodka and I must admit that my taste buds are a little confused. It’s got the right amount of kick and sweetness that I would expect, yet at the same time, a weird almost watermelon aftertaste. All in all, I must say thanks for trying this and giving a Canadian woman an interesting Saturday afternoon. Cheers!❤

Also you absolutely stir vodka martini if following standard mixology protocol. There's a reason you have to specify shaken not stirred.

For the spicy Tamarind vodka I would recommend making it into a paloma (paloma means dove in means). A paloma is usually made with tequila or clear alcohol and squirt soda (not sure on where you may buy this over by y'all though) with a spicy paste around the rim of the glass (Amazon may sell something like this) and some tajin sprinkled inside the drink. You can even squeeze more lime in there. You can probably also make this into a margarita if anything

The reason we notice such a big difference between real bananas and fake banana flavor is the banana variety we have now isn't what the fake flavor is based on. They are not used to the flavor of tamarind mixed with things. I love tamarind, especially in popsicles, 😍. Islanders are used to having tamarind.

In blind tastings, Smirnoff Vodka ranks amongst the highest, over all! Remember, that's in a BLIND TASTING! When the vodkas are known, Belvedere and Grey Goose usually score highest! I like Kettle One, too. But my favorite is Blue Ice, American Potato Vodka! I believe they're in Idaho. Cheers....🥔🍸

When my friends and acquaintances start vodka shots I do whiskey. I’ve tried several flavoured vodkas and they all taste like turpentine. I have learned to buy a decent quality vodka, kgs of berries…blueberry, raspberry, strawberry, citrus, grape, make a decent simple sugar…and make my own, including lemonchello. Most of the time though I use Everclear. Let it sit for 6 months and you can’t buy an equal in any store anywhere.

So.. in the flavored spirit realm.. my favorite is Cruzan Rum.
It comes in many flavors: Banana, Mango, coconut, raspberry, Black-strap, Black cherry, Vanilla, Blueberry lemon-aid, Strawberry, Pineapple, Peach, Citrus, Tropical fruit, Key lime, Guava, and of course the spiced and aged varieties.
Most of them are so good, all I want with them is ice.
