I love the very subtle way this episode showed Finn's unhealthy coping mechanisms dealing with Jake's death, by first showing that he misses Jake, the right after hearing Simon's problem suggest to go on an adventure as a distraction, which at first just seems like a kind gesture, until later on throughout the episode it's made clear that Finn has reverted back to his old ways of repressing his negative emotions, which I'm sure will be dealt with in some way later on in the series.
I don't think so, I mean we can see how obsessed with finding Jake again in 'Together Again'. And he constantly fought his way to Jake and disrupted Jake's content in the 50th dead world. But that's what I think

my theory so far is that fiona + cake’s city world is the same as their old fantasy world - it just changed abruptly when ice king was reverted back into simon, since its existence in the multiverse is dependent upon what ice king/simon is feeling. everyone is overwhelmingly normal now because that’s how simon is, and nobody remembers what happened before twelve years ago because ice king, the one who WOULD remember those thing exactly, is gone. there’s bits that creep in though - the glitches, fiona and gary’s “we’ve known each other since forever” indicating that they’re not exactly sure when they met, and of course the fact that despite ice king being gone his characters, while now in different world, still exist. simon’s been trying his hardest to get rid of this world he imagined into reality, but he can’t because he can’t ever undo his past as ice king, and he can’t ever forget that it happened to him. so instead of vanishing, fiona + cake’s world rapidly shifts to parallel simon’s own

As someone who has been in a prolonged fugue state before I totally relate to Simon. To everyone else, that's just who you are. Even to yourself, you see everything as normal. Only when you get to the other side of it do you have a chance to look back on it and realize what exactly you did. People you've been friends with no longer recognize you or absolutely hate your guts now. There'll be things that you did that you thought were perfectly justified, but now that you're back to a place of lucidity you realize that it absolutely wasn't. You can't blame anyone for holding onto the opinions they have because to them you're still the same person that did those actions. Some people even might've liked you better when you weren't as lucid. It's almost as if a part of you is turned off, unable to recognize or effect your thoughts and actions. It's truly an awful experience, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you're struggling with mental health issues, please reach out to somebody while you still have your own voice. At 10:15 in this video, the scene of Simon shaving where he smiles at the mirror and it turns into a grimace/frown, he stopped shaving momentarily because he caught a glimpse where his shaving cream looked like a big white beard, and that made him smile briefly because he looked like his old self, before remembering that he's not Ice King anymore 😢 poor Simon
Amazing analyzation! 2 things I wanted to mention, one is that I believe baby finn instead of farm world finn's baby brother is also an option considering time travel is now basically confirmed. So it wouldn't be hard to believe baby finn could make a cameo and puncha some buns. Lastly something that's REALLY bugged me is finn's robot arm. In the bar he initially has half a robot arm attached to his flesh other half but then immediately when they cut to the forest finn and an entirely new robot arm (the one he wears in together again) that's completely replaced his flesh arm. I have no idea what the implications are but maybe it's just a small hiccup.
When it comes to Finns arm, I’m going to assume he has multiple different robot arms to use with the one he was using when we first saw him Is the one he uses when his just chilling and the other he had not long after Is the one he uses when on adventures.
I don’t know why but I love the intro from this episode on so much more (not that I didn’t enjoy the sitcom intro I loved that one too) but something about the trumpet(?) and the glitching between worlds gave me goosebumps the first time I watched it and I watched the intro every single episode afterwards. Even the sequence of the different finns plus fionna where you don’t see their faces but just enough to guess who’s who is also really great.
I think Cake's transformations in the intro have got to mean something: -The Butterfly representing this episode. -Infinity/Mobius strip probably the next episode dealing with the multiverse stuff. -Jake maybe an episode where we find out what happened to Jake or Cake gets her magic back? Notice that she's kind of melting, like we saw Jake do in together again. -A Snowman, maybe they find Gunter/Ice Thing like we see in the trailer. -A bat, the vampire universe. -The tetromino looking thing, could be related to either Prismo or Golb/Betty. -I'm pretty sure the thing you didn't know what it was is the Red Guy, kinda reminds me of Jake's shapeshifting dad. Could also just be a tween/blur frame. -An egg, which we see Jake with, who likely the awoken old man Primo.
Omg, this video was chef-kiss. I also want to say that: 1) 5:12 - There seems to be a resemblance with Finn and Jake's suffering from desert heat in one episode of their serie. 2) When Simon faces the first monster in the forest-cave as a bait, he states to have seen a figure/creature on the tongue of that fish monster. I believe Simon was reminded either of Betty or his own self as they were almost eaten by Golb who's used to attack the others with its tongue and swallow them. In fact, in "Come Along With Me" .
One reason I believe there is a separate instance of ooo (or at least another glitch) is because Finn has two different arms. One prosthetic is up to the elbow and then it all the way up to his shoulder when him and Simon go to the forest
Fionna and Cake adventures are Ice King's imagination, now that Simon is normal again everything in Fionna's universe becomes normal too and everyone felt their magical past as a dream
11:37 Bees are a symbol of wisdom (which may reflect any wisdom he has due to being so old and living through what he did) and birth/rebirth (one idea relating to that could be the birth and growth of the humans) and they are also considered guardians of the natural world. One interpretation of this could be they make him feel safe/secure as if protecting him, or looking over the humans. 13:27 Giving Anubis vibes
I remember reading adventure time season 11 back when it was canon. Time travel was the main topic of the first 4 issues. I wonder of they decided to reuse that idea in Fiona and Cake.
Simons episode is so similar to Fionna's, in where they go and who they meet. I had a feeling that Fionna's episode was happening inside Simons mind/another universe.
5:46 that weird, unknown shape reminds me of how the mysterious Red Guy in the trailer was standing at one point, so all these shapes are probably foreshadowing. I can't wait to see where the snowman comes in though (maybe an Ice Kingdom/Thingdom adventure?)
The weird worm things around Golb is most probably his limbs, and the horn is maybe used to get rid of Golb if things go out of control (Cuz y’know, Golb hates music). Anyway, amazing video!
Someone pointed it out but it really is sad just how much fin has become his father. I view it also as Finn having reverted back mentally as well in terms of things. I do wonder how jake died actually (i dont remember if that was answered or not)
Well I think that pyramid thing makes me think of Bill from gravity falls, It could be an easter egg, And it's nice to hear about Rebecca sugar in the episode making lovely music, but that just makes me miss Steven universe more
10:03 the classic Cheers theme song finally returns after so so long 12:46 A How To Train Your Dragon reference in an Adventure Time show? That's a new one 31:52 No not the hug wolf incident again? I'm still recovering from the first one
A few things i can think of are the god that depicts time also resembles Stormo, which could be another reference to how a purpose can be given to something before it exists. something i havent seen ANYONE point out is the clear reference of Fionna Campbell's last name obviously being the soup that was delivered by the mother gum when marceline was sick, which FURTHER proves your theory of Simon using any and all methods of 'keeping it together'.
something i found it weird in this episode. finn's right arm is not the same when he was in candy kingdom with simon comparing when they went to the "heart of the forest"
Where are you getting the idea that the vampire universe is a variant of the farm world universe? My personal theory on that part of the intro is that vampire queen marceline turned finn into a vampire when he was still very young and so he remained a buff baby forever.
I wonder if Simon doing the ritual is an abstract way for Betty to use her Golbetty powers indirectly to help Simon with his problems. Instead of summoning her back to Ooo, she catches wind of his train of thoughts and literally manifests them into reality for him. Maybe it's for him to try and reconcile with the bits of good that did come from being Ice king and feel better about his place in an unnatural world? It's also interesting to note that the only person that isn't gender bent in Fiona's world is Betty.
I think golbs head ripping off represents the destruction of Fiona’s original universe, like the universe itself is a fragment of golb. (To me it almost looks like a baby with an umbilical cord, so it’s like a broken connection to golb and also destruction of one of golbs creations at the same time) Not the destruction of the actual golb. Golb has made universes before like the pillow one inside of Finn’s mind, only that one didn’t get destroyed. And the time travel stuff will be from prismo.
The explosion that happens when Simon is doing the ritual comes to the left of Simon, I'm wondering why that is, because when you roll the episode back, there doesn't seem to be anything related to golb or anything to the left of him. So why does the explosion happen there, that's such a random place.
15:42 If you could look at it the place where gulb is sitting resembles a larger gulb made from the blankets and the 4 green cylinders that make up his eyes even the triangle on his head, even the worm, blanket things, or whatever they are, or holding their hands together just like Gulb is
I think he keeps looking at the fan because it is just an imitation. It's made entirely of wood and produces no light, and spins too slow to really do anything. It's showing that he didn't even really have a say in how the exhibit was constructed, and that he can't really fit in with the new humans.
i wonder if that finns mechanical arm changing 3 different times is on purpose? like it went from just the forearm and down , to the full arm and then in the pic with jake its not as bulky
5:37 If you look closely, the thing that Cake turns into actually foreshadow the later episodes. Butterfly: The Thing that Cake wakes up too in Ooo. Infinity Symbol: I actually don’t know how it correlates to “Prismo The Wishmaster” Jake: Possibly Farmworld Jake, who is seen on Destiny. Snowman: Reference to the Snow People in “The Winter King” Bat: Do I Really need to explain how a Bat connects to “The Star”? The Cubes: Possibly a reference to the Cubes that surround Golb, in “Jerry” The IDK thing: I don’t see how that thing is connected to “Casper and Nova” Egg: Same with the Egg.
This episode reminds me of the song "Inside the mind of Simon". That Simon also has some kind of a mental problem but that's probably where the similarities end
I get the impression that Fiona and Cake are actually some kind of pocket dimension in Simon’s head made by the crown’s influence. Fiona dreams of an Ice prince who is no longer there and she is upset that her world doesn’t have any magic as if she is missing it. The magic in question may be the crown itself charging this other universe. This idea was explored when Jake made a pocket dimension when he fell asleep which was something different but it’s not denied that Jake is magic. Her World lost its magic when Simon lost the crown and now instead of Ice King’s world, Fiona now lives in Simon’s.
I personally dont think the Finn we see with jake is alternate universe but just younger maybe part of an adventure were jake doesnt make it? Either way Finn has a lot shorter beard and looks much younger than in the episode
I think the scene with jake and Finn is a flash back. My only reason for this guess is Finn arm is different then the actual episode, also his hair and beard are different.
my first thought about the bee theme in Simon's room is the outro song (which was also the name of the last episode) "come along with me, and the butterflies and bees. we can wander through the forest, and do so as we please." if im not mistaken wasn't there also a subtle butterfly theme somewhere else? I'm not sure so correct me if I'm wrong
I would argue Simon is actually not a character we know too much about. when he was taking care of young Marceline, he was suffering from the effects of the Ice King crown. He wasn't crazy, but he was freying at the edges. and I think Simon and Ice King had 0 in common. this could be really interesting
So Finn's arm is different when you first meet him? Like it's an iconic shot upward when you first see him, and he has tubes going into his upper arm. Then in the forest, is missing his upper arm and the prosthetic goes all the way to the shoulder. Maybe just design error or an adventuring prosthetic that goes to the shoulder? Could be nothing, could be everything, who knows.
Can't help but think you missed a few things. I don't think that Finn is from an alternate universe, I'm pretty sure that shot with Jake was a flashback more than an AU. Also, those worm things are sacks full of cotton. It's possible those could be a stand-in for Golb's arms?
SPOILER: I just watched this after finishing the season and this is such a good analysis!! it makes soooo much sense now why fionna became happy with the way that things were in her world, it’s because her and simon are connected and he became content with his decisions and where he was at🥹
Idk why but i couldn’t help but pause when cake turned into that weird cat thing in the open credits ,in your video about 5:46 in i almost wanna say but not with certainty that it might be a play on me-mow cuz they have the same structure and eyes , i think that would be awesome if they brought that character back
The shape Cake turned into that you said you're not sure what it is at 5:47 might be Jake/Cakes Blue Bio-Dad when he makes the portal back to his planet
Remember when that same snail got taken over by the litch, and when choose goose drank coconteppi's blood (This take place before Fionna and Cake btw) and a GOLB statue. Seems familiar.
8:30 just noticed Simon has a tiny bubblegum person in his pocket. He later talks to Marcelina about how if he wasn’t around someone else would be taking care of her specifically someone sweet who lives in a big castle, just like the princess. I think this bubblegum person is maybe actually the princess but she’s been separated from the mother gum for so long that she’s become small. We’ve seen that when she essentially runs low on Candy she gets younger so maybe since she’s in basically her youngest possible form from there she would only get smaller
i loved the episode! did anyone else notice that fins arm changed from the start, at first it was like half real half robot. by the end it was all robot
And turns out Fionna and cake are not imaginary, but a whole universe Prizmo created and then hide in ice kings head, i woundn't have bother to spoil that if deliver your theory as slow as posible and then you repeat yourself over and over.
I think that the kid in the opening is baby finn. I have a feeling that what theyre trying to tell us is that Fionna came first. My theory is that Fionna gets back home, but later on, the bombs drop. And it makes Marcelene go crazy as a child (which is why that demon version looks younger) then Fionna and Cake have to stop her, but at that time they see Finn step in. Its in chronological order, Fionna before she gets teleported, then the end of the world/birth of Finn, and finally Finn as an adult. Some things that help this theory is the Cheers is present in both. And an even stronger point is that Betty is a statue in Fionnas world, where Simon and and Betty could've met. Why shes a statue, I dont really know. But if I had to guess id say Betty is just as heroic/giving in the past as she is in Ooo. As soon as she learns Ice King is Simon she does what no one can multiple times to the point she becomes god essentially just to bring him back. Who's to say she didnt do some feat equally as heroic in the past and was celebrated for it? I wont spoil the other episodes, but I think the universe Ice King "created" was somehow put in the past. Which would make sense, because where else to keep his treasured story and characters? Right next to the only person he could never beat and the only person who's acknowledged as a hero in the whole series and the person his character is based off of. I feel like some weird time loop is gonna happen where Fionna is the reason Finn wheres his hat, and ends up in the forest where he's found by Jakes parents. But that's just a theory.....a GA- sorry lol thanks for reading. TL;DR: I think Fionna and cake is right before the bombs fell and the world went to shit.
I feel like Finn's not quite regressed to fighting his problems. I think this is Finn doing what Simon did by trying to dress as the Ice King. It's a coping mechanism for a problem that Finn is clearly not dealing with very well.
The "worms" coming from the thing Simon built was in fact, Glob's limbs. He tried to rebuild the statue using household items. The bottles are the eyes, too.
I was hoping for him to bring up how Finn's robot arm changes from an arm that goes to the elbow, with 4 fingers on the tavern, that is the one we are used to, to an arm that goes to his shoulder, with a claw, that it's closer to what farm world Finn had, I've been going a bit crazy trying to figure that out, seems like something too big to be an animation error
Remember when Steve Rogers felt different in the 21st century as if he didn’t belong there? Well Simon felt the same way and now his only hope for happiness is to return back to where he belongs.
i think what will happen is maybe simon will end up taking prismos place ? like he give prismo eternal rest :p fr this time or something which is why simon is able to imagine and dream if you will other realities ? something about cosmic imagination ?
I'm binging a lot of episode breakdowns for Fionna and Cake, bc I'm loving this show. They did such a great job with the fact that this is a spin off. I love seeing so many easter eggs and the contrast between Simon and Fionna and cakes world is incredible, I love everything about it. And it doesnt feel forced or anything, bc Fionna and Cake existed way before adventure time ended. Also what did you mean by 'Depiction of Time' like the one in the Summer camp island? Is that a real thing? I thought the design was specifically made by summer camp island? So it it an actual depiction of time or just something like summer camp island?
I will feel personally creeped out if it happens to be revealed that Fiona is Simon's daughter and cake is a representation of Simon's wife and Fiona's mother especially considering how in the original episode a Fiona and Kate where was revealed at the end of it was all a story Ice King was telling to a tied up Finn and Jake and how Fionna and Cake were both completely gushing romantically over the Ice King even after Fiona's Senpai Prince Gumball gave her that Covenant notice that Finn has personally been hoping for from Princess Bubblegum since I've sewed one oh. If Fiona Campbell is revealed to be the daughter of Simon petrikov that will put a creepy twist on the original Fionna and Cake episode in Adventure Time
Remember, the cosmic imagination is a philosophy that anything and everything is made of the imagination so Simon’s Thoughts exist and those thoughts can have thoughts of thoughts that have thoughts of thoughts basically an infinite paradox where stuff is getting created, basically infinite. GOLB is the original being existing outside of it and the crown had an effect on Simon plus Betty doing something crazy makes sense that it impacts universes and even timelines… maybe that’s how we get the channels like how Fionna is seeing cheers but her impersonator seeing an actual signal of Fan Ice King Fiction Fionna as well. Basically, his thoughts are indeed true. They aren’t just thoughts but things that exist because he thought of them and as long as there is a single form of thoughts or any view, it will always exist.
10:05 Look at the pictures in the the background. A Elephant and what looks like a Griffin. Off to the left. Ancient Psychic Tandem War Elephant and Storm-o? Reinforcing the message with Psychic links and dreams.
Hey! Regarding the big bear I’m pretty sure that instead of Finn becoming the bear I think that the bear is meant to represent fern! Think of its power of it growing and getting another arm similar to the other grass creatures when Finn first got the grass sword! Also the butterfly they dreamed was slightly different because of the smile on its pattern which reminded me a lot of the evil squid grass demon thing in the Finale that caused fern to die! Also also the bear cut on Finn has green around it just like when fern would cut something he could poison them with it too!

I also want to say that:
1) 5:12 - There seems to be a resemblance with Finn and Jake's suffering from desert heat in one episode of their serie.
The weird shape that cake turns into at 4:45 is probably a reference to Jake's real father, the one where his stretching powers come from.
The last shape he didn’t identify was from The Scream I think
5:45 but yes! I forgot but remembered that general form and thought "the scene had something to do with lazers..." lol
I wonder of they decided to reuse that idea in Fiona and Cake.
suddenly the adult Finn remind me of his father.
Me too, but in a much nicer way. Good thing he has his mom's helper genes to balance him out.
Simons episode is so similar to Fionna's, in where they go and who they meet. I had a feeling that Fionna's episode was happening inside Simons mind/another universe.
That pretty much seems to be the case. Someone needs to matchup the episodes side by side starting from the title cards.
This show is amazing I can't wait for the next episode to come out tomorrow
5:46 that weird, unknown shape reminds me of how the mysterious Red Guy in the trailer was standing at one point, so all these shapes are probably foreshadowing. I can't wait to see where the snowman comes in though (maybe an Ice Kingdom/Thingdom adventure?)
The weird worm things around Golb is most probably his limbs, and the horn is maybe used to get rid of Golb if things go out of control (Cuz y’know, Golb hates music). Anyway, amazing video!
That is the first theory about the horn that I have heard that made sense. Good catch!
it looks more like an extra large hambo missing his head
do u think maybe the worm things could also be the arm-like things that comes out of golb´s mouth when he attacked?
What did they do to my boy choose Goose ?😢
Why different color
Watch distant lands
Watch Wizard City
He drank some funny gamer juice and became evil or something, idk
Doth you joke?
The goose croaked as he roast
Been waiting patiently for this vid
I’ve never seen an episode of cheers, but the theme song makes me cry every time I hear it lmao. This was no exception
Fun fact: My mum and dad went to Java around the same time Simon would have been there! Less fun fact: they didn’t use toilet paper there at the time.
Someone pointed it out but it really is sad just how much fin has become his father. I view it also as Finn having reverted back mentally as well in terms of things.
I do wonder how jake died actually (i dont remember if that was answered or not)
I think the fan thing is just because he’s depressed, i and many other people kinda stare at our moving fans in the morning dreading have to get up
Well I think that pyramid thing makes me think of Bill from gravity falls, It could be an easter egg, And it's nice to hear about Rebecca sugar in the episode making lovely music, but that just makes me miss Steven universe more
Same, anytime I see a yellow triangle with an eye, I think Bill Cypher. It’s very in-character for him too lol
@JocaWars it's the all seeing eye of God, on the dollar bill
10:03 the classic Cheers theme song finally returns after so so long
12:46 A How To Train Your Dragon reference in an Adventure Time show? That's a new one
31:52 No not the hug wolf incident again? I'm still recovering from the first one
A few things i can think of are the god that depicts time also resembles Stormo, which could be another reference to how a purpose can be given to something before it exists. something i havent seen ANYONE point out is the clear reference of Fionna Campbell's last name obviously being the soup that was delivered by the mother gum when marceline was sick, which FURTHER proves your theory of Simon using any and all methods of 'keeping it together'.
15:23 the entire effigy is meant to look like Golb when summoned
something i found it weird in this episode. finn's right arm is not the same when he was in candy kingdom with simon comparing when they went to the "heart of the forest"
Things are going to get a lot more interesting with this Spinoff.
It really seems like a universal break kind of situation. A lot of cords tangling up too create a multiversal break
And of course the tattooist is a visually homage to Kamaji from Spirited Away.
14:29 looks most like palo santo, used for protection as sage is used for cleansing
Fionna and cake took things really far
Can't stop watching
Thank you for the explanation!
Damn came in here after watching prismo and you got it straight up right.
Where are you getting the idea that the vampire universe is a variant of the farm world universe? My personal theory on that part of the intro is that vampire queen marceline turned finn into a vampire when he was still very young and so he remained a buff baby forever.
I've been waiting for this video, I loved it so much! Keep making these!
What Abt starchy
I've been waiting a while for this❤
I think golbs head ripping off represents the destruction of Fiona’s original universe, like the universe itself is a fragment of golb.
It is Choose Goose. Explosion comes from his location and then it shows him cooked.
15:42 If you could look at it the place where gulb is sitting resembles a larger gulb made from the blankets and the 4 green cylinders that make up his eyes even the triangle on his head, even the worm, blanket things, or whatever they are, or holding their hands together just like Gulb is
Tomorrow we get more content les gooooo
Yay
I watched both of them on Thursday last time, I’m gonna try to split it up between the week so that I don’t feel miserable lol.
New episode?
@@clydrexezekielalzate9707 I was told every Thursday we would get 2 new episodes until the season ends
I think he keeps looking at the fan because it is just an imitation. It's made entirely of wood and produces no light, and spins too slow to really do anything. It's showing that he didn't even really have a say in how the exhibit was constructed, and that he can't really fit in with the new humans.
That makes sense
watched the first 2 eps, so excited for the ep tomorrow and instantly went to look up your channel
i wonder if that finns mechanical arm changing 3 different times is on purpose? like it went from just the forearm and down , to the full arm and then in the pic with jake its not as bulky
Duuuude, in Farmworld Simon died trying to stop the bomb so no one was around to raise baby Marcy well and she becomes the Vampire Queen
In Simons “Golb Room”, Im pretty sure that the worm lookin things are supposed to be Golb’s arms and legs. It matches the positioning of the statue.
do u think maybe it could be the arm-like things that comes out of golb´s mouth when he attacked?
5:37
If you look closely, the thing that Cake turns into actually foreshadow the later episodes.
Butterfly: The Thing that Cake wakes up too in Ooo.
Infinity Symbol: I actually don’t know how it correlates to “Prismo The Wishmaster”
Jake: Possibly Farmworld Jake, who is seen on Destiny.
Snowman: Reference to the Snow People in “The Winter King”
Bat: Do I Really need to explain how a Bat connects to “The Star”?
The Cubes: Possibly a reference to the Cubes that surround Golb, in “Jerry”
The IDK thing: I don’t see how that thing is connected to “Casper and Nova”
Egg: Same with the Egg.
This episode reminds me of the song "Inside the mind of Simon". That Simon also has some kind of a mental problem but that's probably where the similarities end
I THOUGHT THAT TOO!!! such a perfect tally hall reference
this dude is the game theory of adventure time ngl
Awesome vid, excited for you to cover future episodes !!
I think the mayo picture is a reference to that famous art of tomato soup
I think the scene with jake and Finn is a flash back. My only reason for this guess is Finn arm is different then the actual episode, also his hair and beard are different.
my first thought about the bee theme in Simon's room is the outro song (which was also the name of the last episode) "come along with me, and the butterflies and bees. we can wander through the forest, and do so as we please." if im not mistaken wasn't there also a subtle butterfly theme somewhere else? I'm not sure so correct me if I'm wrong
Butterflies represent Finn's essence, Finn was one in a past life
I would argue Simon is actually not a character we know too much about. when he was taking care of young Marceline, he was suffering from the effects of the Ice King crown.
Could be nothing, could be everything, who knows.
can't wait for you to make a video on ep 3 and especially 4!! omg!! what happens to prismo?!
Can't help but think you missed a few things. I don't think that Finn is from an alternate universe, I'm pretty sure that shot with Jake was a flashback more than an AU. Also, those worm things are sacks full of cotton. It's possible those could be a stand-in for Golb's arms?
13:24 yesss! People don’t talk about this show enough!
SPOILER: I just watched this after finishing the season and this is such a good analysis!! it makes soooo much sense now why fionna became happy with the way that things were in her world, it’s because her and simon are connected and he became content with his decisions and where he was at🥹
That funky looking shape that cake turned into looks similar to the shape Warren took when he opened a portal.
I love Finns design in this episode he might not be fully over Jake's death but I like to think he's close to finding happiness
I love the part when finn said "its questin' time"
Your videos always have interesting things that make me very excited to watch it 😍😍
My man just can’t move on about Betty man…
And I felt like Finn’d be a bad therapist for him lmao
That thing is in every lab or medical coat, Finn had some, Doctor princess had some, I think PB did too
Hard work truly does pay off
*New Subscribers*
i loved the episode! did anyone else notice that fins arm changed from the start, at first it was like half real half robot. by the end it was all robot
LOL. I’m ready for Cake’s translator. 🤣CATNIP! SWEET BABIES! Love Roz Ryan😂!
I’ve been waiting for this one
I was hoping for him to bring up how Finn's robot arm changes from an arm that goes to the elbow, with 4 fingers on the tavern, that is the one we are used to, to an arm that goes to his shoulder, with a claw, that it's closer to what farm world Finn had, I've been going a bit crazy trying to figure that out, seems like something too big to be an animation error
4:40 inside the mind of simon reference
Ooh! This was posted on my birthday!
I guess the reason why this alerted Prismo's boss, is due to the enchiridion Simon used came from farmworld?
Poor Simon. At least as the Ice King he had a purpose and a place to belong but now. He barley even have that in the world he's in now
Remember when Steve Rogers felt different in the 21st century as if he didn’t belong there?
If Fiona Campbell is revealed to be the daughter of Simon petrikov that will put a creepy twist on the original Fionna and Cake episode in Adventure Time
The episode takes place between Obsidian and Together Again, which is why Finn's still alive and Jake isn't.

5:45 I may be wrong but this gives me All Tomorrow's vibes
Simons innerchildlike wonder aka Fionna and cake because of golbs location spell turning into a chaotic summon
