Love how Kinger was the only one who got an A+ despite being on a different adventure. Still a King. 👑 Okay but is Gangle being hit by a truck some forshadowing? I hope this is not why our main cast got stuck in the Digital World
If gangle getting hit by a truck is part of the lore we could say that after real life gangle put on the headset on it got a backup memory from gangles memories and put them in the circus, then the normal gangle just went on and lived on with life, and or got hit by a truck while going to work or just beeing sad and depressed and maybe committed suic**e. But it's just a movie theory. MY MOVIE THEORY
I doubt it since in the pilot, Pomi said she put on a headset and then wond up at the circus, so it's safe to assume that the rest got there for the same reason. She maybe did get hit by a bus at some point in her life, tho, maybe in some kind of episode similar to the one we see in the episode or a depression/stress one.
Maybe she got hit by a truck and her body was disabled because of it so she escaped her reality by putting a headset on and that's how she ended up in the digital world
I relate to Gangle a lot because of my experience working in shipping and receiving a grocery. I acted like I enjoyed it and genuinely believe I did but it was absolutely destroying me. I was completely miserable.
I like how there wasn‘t a physical conflict or a big showdown in this episode. Just a bunch of characters in a mundane setting trying to deal with their personal struggles. Makes the characters feel more human and realistic and makes this episode more unique.
Clearly not well done because I’ve heard it’s some people’s least favourite. Or maybe I’ve just heard it from somewhere and the episode hasn’t been out for very long so I don’t think I should just take opinions like that so quickly. I enjoyed the episode.
@THGMR-ox7sdidk how anyone could make an opinion Abt the character when this is THE first time we have ever actually seen the character first hand in the episodes.
Why people are saying that this series is just a cartoon? This episode just proved that ,,Amazing Digital Circus” is a documentary about Fast Food employees and their mental health.
As someone who wants to create a successful series people will enjoy, there’s nothing more annoying and upsetting then having people tell you that your dreams are unrealistic.
To someone with no inspiration or courage, everything is unrealistic. Don’t let other people’s sadness affect your feelings!!! Negativity is toxic and you have to avoid it. Anything is possible.
I feel like the theme of this episode was happiness. We see gangle trying to be happy, more specifically happy with herself, but the problem is that gangle tried to force herself and others to be happy. Toxic and false happiness then healthy and genuine happiness. Gangle realized this in the end and I hope she will try to learn to be genuinely happy with herself.
With even Ragatha saying she finds Gangles false happiness masks annoying it makes me wonder if Jax is breaking them to help her. Her Sadness mask is her real face as it is always under all the fake ones she puts on... Maybe he is trying to force her to be herself or deal with her issues without a mask... We see it as meanness but perhaps there is more to it.
It is probably meanness but the reason jax does not receives any form of consequences for doing so is because is inadvertently helping her from repressing emotions
I feel like the more the amazing digital circuits progressing gets more episodes the more the creators of the show giving us more of their true Origins
Let me tell you that moment of levity after getting out of an extremely stressful shift at work is so real. Including the threat of falling into oncoming traffic. Life be lifing sometimes, but you ct get through it one day at a time
I said this in another comments section already, but I was also interested in what was happening with Jax. They are obviously setting up his arc in a later episode and giving us a glimpse into what his problems are. It’s seems to me like he harasses the other’s because that is the only thing that brings him happiness in the circus, and when that doesn’t work, he gets depressed and everything is mundane as the vibe of this episode gives off with the lack of music or sound effects in the background in contrast to other episodes
It's scary how Gangle almost abstracted but luckily Pomni saved her just in time! I'm pretty sure most people said that either Gangle or Kinger would be next to go! 💀 Also Ragitha does seem like her realist self when she was high off that sauce and we wonder if she's genuine or one of those "fake happy" people who only cares because they don't actually wanna deal with it. Can't wait to see an episode focused around her! Also also ove your Jack in the box OC! 🃏
I Absolutely Love how Kinger was the only one in this Episode, who got an A+, even though he was on a different adventure. Although, I Absolutely feel so sorry for Gangle in the Episode. She tried so hard to motivate everyone into taking their jobs seriously at Spudy's, but instead, Gangle's emotions didn't work out so well for her. I also feel so sorry for Pomni, for when she saw Gummigoo in this Episode.
I thought I was going to hate this one, but it is my favorite episode and I struggle to see them doing better than this, not as an insult, but because it really was just so unbelievably impactful.
Do a theory that Jax isn’t entirely evil really just misunderstood and what that could mean for the future of the digital Circus! by the way, I’m subscribed love your videos❤
A few things I noticed and have questions about; - Why Jax have 001 on his car? - Why Gangle end up hit by a truck? Is that, like with Kinger for example, some memorie of hers? - Do characters remember more with every episode? - Does Cain program is staring to brake? - Ragatha gives me vibe of a person who was using her positivity to survive hard situation. Maybe on a ranch? Anyway, thank you for the video, Deep in the Box. As always, lovely review.
@@GnomeCat about the memories part, goosework explained that the characters clearly remember their lives before the digital circus. The only thing they can’t remember are their names.
My heart broke several times during this episode from Gangle masking her pain and sadness to Gummigoo not remembering Pomni.😭 I definitely think Gangle would have abstracted if not for Pomni helping her out at the end of her shift.🥺 I love though that near the end of the episode, Gangle found her happiness without her comedy mask and it was because she left her job, which no doubt is what she wanted to do in real life.❤️ Also, as someone that likes to draw and write, I empathized heavily with Gangle when Zooble said they liked her art because just hearing that can be so validating and motivate someone to want to create more.🥹💕
I don’t claim to be an expert on this kind of stuff but to me gangles new mask felt like an allegory for someone with chronic depression or some other kind of mental condition finding a new medication or something that works at first but after a while it stops.
I really loved this episode it's sad and fun it's sad seeing gangle like this but form what she said it seems we got some more little lore about her it seems like before she whated to be a artist but she gave up and was depressed it'd sad but also nice thwt zooble is such a good friend for her the fast food restaurant is such a fun and silly idea for a adventure gangle is my favorite character and the part where she thorw her mask and ran eas such a epic and nice sence and i love it bear episode so far keep it up cartoon unervse ❤
Even though Kinger is still my favourite character, I really relate to Gangle's struggle in this episode and how she's constantly trying to cope with her own inner sadness, which is incredibly relatable, especially as someone who also loves to draw and create art and had to simultaneously worked before in the food industry as a waiter, I totally understand how much you have to cope with the mundanity and mental stress of having to work in such a gruelling environment while trying to keep it together and feeling as if the days go by and lose out on your dreams with people who you feel like dont care enough about you or your dreams/passions, however, there are people out there that do care, and Gangle is lucky to have people like Zooble, Ragatha, Kinger and now Pomni care about her (Jax Im not to sure about). That Gummigoo reveal was CRAZY unexpected, and I can only imagine how many of the fan shippers will go wild after seeing Pomni reunited with him, even if he doesn't remember her! Overall, really good episode 8/10 By the way, I want to see what Kinger was up to with that picture of him bull-riding.
I feel like Jayce knows more than he lets on because he says Caine isn't capable of hurting them and that it's not in “his programming.” My theory is that he was one of the game developers of this VR experience but accidentally got himself trapped here
Gangle is a bit sadder than some with depression-Pomni actually tries to relate to others and tries to help them with their mental issues and even tries to be confidential about it as well-she doesn't elaborate about Kinger to Jax. She tries to reach out to Gangle by talk, but Gangle fails to see the helping hand. Pomni then goes by actions at the end of the shift. I'm hoping Zooble can help her to open up a little, and can also get help from Pomni. About topics-Did Pomni willingly enter the Digital Circus? There seem to be many hints in these episodes that she didn't. He wants to make me suffer. Her entrance being totally unprepared-like she didn't expect a vividly colored world or being able to interact in any way with it. She has difficulty understanding NPCs being separated "programs." Can she help Caine. He's been glitching out often and since Pomni's entrance the episodes have been more-horrifying. Can Caine abstract, and what would happen as a result? Does Caine have an idea what are the real sides to the characters? Also-he seems to have a grasp of their improvement. What is Pomni's real "her".
It took your video to realize I’m more like Gangle than I thought. I always thought I was more like Kinger or Pomni, but seeing Gangles backstory through your video made me realize that no I’m literally Gangle. Except instead of manga, mine was dance.
Something I didn't quite understand about this episode is the fact that nobody could even remember their names when entering the digital circus. How come Gangle can remember her life?
That could be why Gangle got a ribbin as what if in the real world Gangle is unable to move as it can be the way of having the existential dread having to stuck in the mundane job that Gangle have to sacrifice her own dream of being a manga artist. What if it is even more tragic if you CANNOT fulfill your own dream instead of not having time. So Gangle having a frail body even she cannot lift up a pencil or is too painful to even lift any light objects that Gangle uses the Digital Circus as a escape and be able to draw again.
I fear that Gangle and Ragatha will have some drift on their relationship. Tough Ragatha was always trying to deffend her from Jax breaking her mask, knowing she thinks the happy mask is annoying, the truth hurts.
I love how this show can mix comedy and terror in such a fluid way... And them putting clues of their past like Gangle confirms that she was a Manager, and Ragatha while """drunk""" enumerating things about her past like dance classes and she missing her horses
I just didn't get why she'd rather recreate a job she didn't enjoy in the circus rather than making an adventure where everyone goes on an anime journey or something. Otherwise, I loved the episode.
Ya know, I’m all one for action and drama that’s typically shown, but the normalcy here, both with the fast food jobs and the representation of depression and wearing “masks” (literally in this case.) 😅

Just something to do for a year before going to college. not being able to connect half with half of the context/subtext of the episode, unlike some, along with what happened after Pomni took over closing... well it felt extremely forced and almost insulting for drama baiting. Thus knocking it from one of the best to a simply average episode in my book. If anything I think this is a good case study how some stories and IP can completely connect with some, but just be 'another episode' for others.
Gangle, Jax, Ragatha, and Zooble all let their masks slip this episode. Gangle's situation is obvious, and Ragatha's unkindness is pretty stark. Jax actually has a normal conversation with Pomni, however short it may have been, and seems genuine when he drags himself out to his car. And Zooble's "too cool for school" attitude slipped when connecting with Gangle.

How did this hurt you? Did it pull out a shotgun or something?
Yes, but only to stop me from running. It then forced me to watch the episode, which hurt my feelings.

I was surprised and veeeerrrreeyyyyy happy he returned.

As someone who’s in retail for a long time, I feel all of Gangle’s suffering.
It's scary how Gangle almost abstracted but luckily Pomni saved her just in time!

Her sad mask loses tears meaning she controls the visuals of them to not just the expression 7:15
How come every new episode of this show becomes more philosophical.
I loved this episode and I loved that Gangle got the front seat here. And I loved Pomni and Zooble being nice to her.

I just like how Jax was humbled 😂
Hey 0:23 You forgot someone -_- literally who the episode was MAINLY about... Kinger deserves more respect than this
Proof that no matter the horrors going on in the circus, they don't even begin to hold a candle to real life.
Gangle is now my spirit animal because I’ve literally been in a similar situation and in some cases I’m still am
Last episode was mostly about Kinger though.
this just came out and there are already vids about it wtf
It made me almost cry it’s an amazing episode/story!
I love this episode so much

Gangle was using a mask to hide her depression
This gave me so much PTSD from my own fast food past. Lol.
This felt like someone put parts of my life to screen, lol
I feel bad for you :(

If you want a topic suggestion, you could talk about who wrote the suggestion about them working at a fast food chain
It was Gangle of course!
Jack cut is better
I'm trans!
cool. is that it or are you going to talk about something actually in the video?
- 57 (everywhere)
- Excel spreadsheet with A&C logo
- Kinger does redeo
MC RIBS
After this i like Gangle now more than super super 😊
I think Jax is abstract soon BC of they way he acts when he's yelled at I think he doesn't know what's mean and what's a prank
12:54 You know what else is massive?
come on, we’re tired
TBH Im starting to get some Life On Mars vibes from this show. Not a bad thing, but its interesting.
