Such Valuable information, Taylor! Great pep talk for us tired Q4'ers! I needed a nudge...ok a Shove....to get going again! I sincerely appreciate your videos! And btw...you have found your calling. You are an incredible speaker and teacher! Keep on keeping on! 🙂
Thank you so much-this means the world to me! 😊 I’m so glad the video gave you that nudge (or shove 😂) to get going again. You’ve got this! And wow, your kind words truly made my day. I’m so grateful to be able to do this and share what I love.
Love your videos, any chance you can explain this that's a part of etsy ads. "Increase visibility and awareness Drive orders short-term Promote specific items Take my sales up a notch Maximise my exposure to help compete against similar shops"
base on the last year statistic or may be you can using some tool which can give you information of best selling products. You also can use information from some supplier, my current supplier Merchize offer some interesting statistic from the past so I can use for my business strategy
Hello, I'm new to this, I'm from Colombia and I'm very excited, but when I publish a product I get this error. Sorry, we couldn't publish this product. Please try again later or contact support if the problem occurs again. Some are published but most of them give me this error and I did it from gtin and everything else, how can I solve it? Please help me, I'm stuck on this.
I have a question that maybe you can answer: My shop has the word mug in it. My question is, should I keep the name or change it should I decide to scale? I’m conflicted and don’t know what do. However, I know that a lot of stores have names that don’t entirely relate to what they sell. Can you give me your thoughts on this?
No! Logan Paul and KSI only made a success of there business because they are extremely popular, have a massive following, particularly with the youth. THAT, is the truth behind there success. Is Mr. Beast's burger the best burger ever? Why was it so successful? His burger hit a world record breaking 10 000 customers within the first 10 minutes of launch. If I spent the money and advertised and marketed just as these fellows did, It would not be nearly as popular as theirs! Maybe they had good marketing, and the funds to do so, but it is the names that are associated with the product that contributed tremendously to the products success (in these instances at least). Sorry, Taylor. But I disagree on that one.
But their name is their business asset and that name is that provides perceived value to the customer. They have a personal brand so yes that is marketing. As well as Taylor marketing her course. There are many Etsy courses - her personal brand is part of her marketing.
I 100% agree with you. I don’t think Logan Paul and KSI created something new and unique to the sports drink market. They’re really just leveraging their massive followings. It’s the concept behind Gary V’s ‘Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook’
For sure, having a celebrity or strong social media presence is incredibly helpful, and I completely agree with you on that. My point (even though that’s definitely an extreme example) is that there are so many businesses out there selling the same types of products, but by approaching it in a new and unique way, they’re still able to find success. It’s more about finding that unique angle that works for you! 😊 To share an example from my own experience, my first shop is primarily apparel, and it has sold over $350K in revenue. If I had believed the idea that apparel was “oversaturated,” I never would have pursued it-and I would have completely missed out on the success I’ve achieved. The key isn’t avoiding crowded markets; it’s about creating standout designs, targeting the right audience, and bringing something fresh to the table. I hope this helps clarify the message I was trying to share. I never want anyone to feel held back by a limiting belief that they can’t achieve something. Even in competitive spaces, success is absolutely possible with the right mindset, strategy, and consistent effort. 😊
@@TaylorPOD Hi Taylor, I agree with you 100% and what you said toward the end is inspiring and motivating. Even if the industry is "oversaturated", it is possible to use unique and ingenious marketing strategies to get yourself out there. I just don't think they had any, but that's my opinion. If I ran in the city centre completely naked with my shops name painted all over me and I dodged the police for an hour and ran circles around them, and then made it into the headlines (here in South Africa that would be so funny and comical) I would make a killing 🤣. I know what you meant though, and believe you are very good at what you do. I also know that the message you are sending out is valid, and 100 % true, but the example...(maybe it's just I not really a fan of Logan's brother 🤨).
These videos are great. Tx!

Best video I've seen on this subject in a long time. Thanks!
I'm so glad you found it helpful! 🙌
How would you research for best selling designs that you plan to sell 3-4 months ahead?

Hi..what are they publishing it to? Is it their shop or another web site?
Getting traffic to your store is the main problem.
I have a question that maybe you can answer:

I am starting on Etsy..any tricks for getting more views?
