This is the single best piece of comedy I have ever witnessed. Catherine O'Hara's genius is only complemented by Mike Myers. And Jan Hooks and Victoria Jackson intensify every nook and cranny of the psychology in huge waves of resonance. And the religious tropes, and the cultural connotations... "I Said God Damn, God Damn, God Damn. Mercy, Good God, God Damn."

One of those odd but fascinating sketches that probably ran late during the show and wasn’t quite regular comedy…more like meta-comedy. Sometimes SNL simply went for the weird.

Actually , event like this really took place, in 1944 in Warsaw, Poland occupied by nazi Germany. SS leader was executed by Polish Underground for his grusome actions, and wedding took place, groom in coffin, bride in Black dress.... 300 people was executed as a revenge/„wedding gift”....

This is one of the strangest SNL skits I have ever seen. It felt somewhat like a scene out of a horror movie. Her plastered on smile like that while looking at the priest. It was surreal. So what was the meaning behind this? The story? If anything. Very odd. 🤨🤔🤔
