This one is for all of you who love reading the book before the film (or just want to know which adaptations are in the cinema at the moment/soon). Enjoy!
One book-to-movie adaptation that I am pretty exited about is Aniara, which is a space poem by the Swedish author Harry Martinsson. It's already out but I haven't read it and I would like to do that before seeing the movie.
I hadn't heard that they are FINALLY making an Artemis Fowl movie! I remember way back when they were first talking about it and deals kept falling through. I google it every couple of years when I think about it, but I didn't know it was actually happening! I may have squealed when i saw the movie poster. :) Thank you for including it in this video. I'm in the US, so I think 'Collette' and 'Can you ever forgive me?' are already on dvd here, and I've been meaning to rent them. The other Kiera Knightly movie and 'If Beale Street Could Talk' sound really interesting too.
I loved Noughts and Crosses so so much !! I didn't realize it was being turned into a T.V show ...how very exciting !! I also want to read If Beale Street Could Talk too/then watch the film 😉 ❤️❤️ Thank you for sharing these with us xx
I am so so excited for the tv adaptation of noughts and crosses!!!!! I first read it when I was 9 years old and I immediately thought it would make a great movie... another book to movie adaptation I'm looking forward to is where'd you go bernadette - the release date keeps being moved back but currently it's set for release in august
I've been meaning to explore Colette's writing for a while, but put it off in the hope that I may get to read the original text, in French, when I feel ready. With the release of the movie, it seems I'll just have to go for it and hope for the best.
If Beale Street Could Talk is a phenomenal read and it's short so there's no excuse to miss it!

Can't wait for the Knife of Never Letting Go film! Also, how about that His Dark Materials adaptation coming out this year?
I’m currently reading the Handmaid’s Tale and loving it! It’s not something I would normally read so it’s been fun!

I loved the movie Colette and it made me want to read the books.... Also the outfits were great.
I think the book ' The Pure and the Impure' by Colette is close to her autobiography? I am upset I missed the film in the cinema.
+Serena Tutt ahh thanks! Hoping it’s our for download/dvd soon :)
