      @@sudipbhaumik7905 Yes and no. Tamil Hinduism is not based exclusively on Vedic beliefs but incorporates Dravidian folk beliefs that have existed among Tamils prior to the introduction of Hindu beliefs.

      @Blaze6432 not at all. Hindus are hindus not matter what region. And you are the biggest joke. People of South specially read Vedas.

    Very interesting. It is surprising how generous they all are - with time and energy and money.

    Great video. Love the idea of thousands of volunteers devoting their time to feeding others - in fact, anyone, even if not of their faith. Perhaps if leaders of various faiths devoted time to listening and even helping others not of their faith we would not have the mess the world currently is in today.

    The Temples should consider purchasing as a consolidated bulk purchase, instead of each individual donor for each meal at each Temple buying separately. That is 2200 donors' worth of purchases across the 30 days and 24 Temples being combined.

    • @popeye4531
      @popeye4531 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Each devotees has different prayer so bulk purchase may not fall under this category.

      It’s a temple not market. It doesn’t work that way. Everything must be done by the devotees who is incharge of the ubayam(food donation) including serving

    • @John_Smith_86
      @John_Smith_86 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Buttercreamroses What? As in, it is a specific religious requirement that you are not allowed to appoint someone else to do the admin? You must personally do it yourself?

      @@Buttercreamroses Even if the admin is by another volunteer or the Temple priest?

    • @SKAOG21
      @SKAOG21 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@John_Smith_86 the whole point of the donor purchasing the ingredients is that they are personally involved and so they are directly doing service to the devotees and God, so appointing someone else to carry it out defeats the purpose of this task, because the good karma doesn't accumulate to the donor, and instead to the the person appointed.

    they can make it more healthy by using 50% rice and 50% mix of millets instead of 100% rice and even in rice can have 25% white/brown rice and rest 25% medicinal rice varieties like black rice, red rice, etc.

      @@nitcooksgf if u don't have time than better have fast food to die early since for u might not have time for going to hospital either understand the simple rule healthy food takes time to prepare and reduce number of dishes to reduce budget rest soaking of millet can be done while people are cutting vegs but make it more healthy n nutritious to help devotes live longer.
