    Thanks for talking throughout. Especially what you're doing with the paint. The final wet product is wonderful. The cells really aren't visible from a distance but when you brought tge camera down I was excited to see the beautiful blue/magenta bubbles in lovely communities gathering together. Hoping to see tge dry painting. Wondering how expanded the details become. Wet, it's stunning! Thanks again. P.s. you're a very good public speaker!!

      Hi Barbara, many thanks. This piece was from quite some time ago so I don't have any photos to share now. My pieces generally dry the same as they are wet. I keep most of my paint quite thick to maintain cell structure and any modification lines that I make.. Big apologies for taking such a long time to respond back to you. I have been on grandma duty for the last few weeks. 😀. Cindy

      You can do this! I have confidence. Once you get your mixes and consistent correct the rest is just good luck. Consistency is the make it or break it. Start small and work yourself upwards. Bigger is not better, it is what it says it's just bigger. Pick one technique and get comfy with it before moving forward. If you get stuck give me a shout. I'm happy to help if I am able. Cindy

      Hi Chanda..you can by pass the polyurethane.. lately I've been adding approx 25 % of my pouring medium to my base paint and it seems to be holding shape quite well. Cindy.
      P.S. my recipes are always changing ..😀. ..

    Sorry my last message sent before I finished.I wanted to say that you did a great job and I really enjoyed your video. I do have one question. For your pillow paint you mentioned that you used one tablespoon of polyurethane. My question is what volume of pillow paint would you add a full tablespoon to. Thank you very much.

      I re read that too after I posted it...what a ditz I thought..lol I went and grabbed the cup I mix in.. it was a 16 oz cup.. i filled it approx 1c paint, 1/4 cup pouring medium and approx a tbsp of polyurethane. The polyurethane makes it quite sticky so I add water to thin necessary.

    Not that I want you to change this - but what could happen if you spun it after your embellishments with the lines?

      Hmmm, I have no idea but it could be worth a try. If I can find a lazy Susan at the thrift store I may just grab it and give it a try.. it's always fun to experiment.. 😀

    I always think it's funny when people mention a Canadian accent because being Canadian myself I never hear it myself.

      @@acrylicpouringwithcindyvan9173 maybe we sound good to other people the way Australian accents sound good to us ! Got your other reply and thanks for the info! I do detailing work with a dotting tool from crafts gone by but they tend to close in again so I'm eager to try your recipe. Thanks.

    What is wood conditioner?

    • @acrylicpouringwithcindyvan9173
      @acrylicpouringwithcindyvan9173  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its a minwax product Antoinette.. it goes on before wood stain to treat or condition the wood before you would apply stain. For cell mix it helps create cells...
