Hi Christine..if i responded to your comment before just ignore me. My phone did an auto update and everything is different 🙃. I seem to be getting comments in two different areas. I'm happy that you have sucess using my techniques and mediums.. that's awesome. It's always the worry sharing a recipe just it may not work for someone else. Cindy
Many thanks my friend 😀. And as usual Many, many thanks for the generous shout out and link to find me. I have a couple problem solving tactics for you to try with your swipe transfers... try pouring off your base completely before you transfer. I feel it helps to keep the swipe from spreading out too much. Switch to a more rigid surfaces to pick up your swipe as well as to swipe on. Less movement preserves all of those beautiful lines. I also found that thickening my swipe Base paint helps bunches too.
@@acrylicpouringwithcindyvan9173 oh my, yes, of course! I’m also uploading my first TH-cam video on Friday, but you might want to check that out before you advertise. 😅 Thank you, Cindy!
@@WinterStromArt you will kick the crap out of It! Glad to see you starting a TH-cam channel.. you have such an incredible gift to share in as many venues as possible. Cindy
Cindy this is mouth watering...wow I need to try pouring on tiles and didn't think much of wood but oh my gotta try it. Great colors! Linda from Colorado Springs
Thank you Linda.. tiles are very easy to paint on, easy to obtain and a pretty cheap substrate to purchase. If you want to try wood again I use the pre cut Bamboo cutting boards from the dollar store.. they are great, sealed already and a nice smooth wood surface to paint on... they are quite cost effective as well. Cindy
Thanks Jan, when I filmed it I had the orientation wrong so I didn't share it. I found a program to flip video so I flipped it and forgot about it..lol. Too many things on my plate. 😀. Cindy
Hi Barbara, thank you. I sell most of my pieces..or at least I try. My best sellers are actually the little 4 x 4. Christmas is a great time to get those little ones out. I sell them for $10/each of 5 for $40. Last Christmas I sold 82 at various craft sales. Cindy
I mentioned this elsewhere, but it reminds me of an Alice in Wonderland character reimagined. Like a beautiful caterpillar transforming into a kimono like butterfly. I always see things in your work - even if you don’t. Love this one so much. Damn. You’re amazing.
Your the best, thank you Elise. I would have set this too you in a New York minute if I had of know you wanted it. I think it sold the day I put it in the restraunt.😀
Many thanks Shirley. I flip back and forth between Aussie 3/1 mix & US floetrol/Elmer's glue all/Amsterdam black or white. 3/1/1.. + a splash of minwax wood conditioner. I prefer to use the Aussie mix but it's quite costly. Cindy
I think it’s stunning… In fact I’m saving it so I can try to make it later ..I’ll follow your lead & your direction… I’ll let you know if I do it if it turns out. You are so crazy talented …awesome awesome
Hi Tina, I just give them a good wash with soapy water. Lower sheen base paints adhere better if you are not planning to resin. I generally resin any pieces that I am planning on selling and it protects the piece from chipping or peeling. Cindy
I LOVE your art and unique style and colour palettes you use. This one is awesome, has a 60's vibe, really cool 😍 May I ask do you use floetrol as a cell activator. Love the cell work. Stay well and safe 🙂❣🎄
Hi Kathryn, I sell alot of them. I just did a refresher video on how I finish them.. quick, easy and cheap! This size sells quite well as do the single 4 x 4. Cindy
Good question Marie, its definitely harder to do on larger pieces but it is doable. I may give a bigger piece a go in the near future. I need to get about 5 more tiles done for a Christmas sale and then I am free to play. Cindy
I’ve got to get my butter back into gear, I haven’t poured for so long… I love your stuff. I can’t believe you’re using that hot pink, is this the same lady that only did neutrals??? I was glad that you fixed that middle section. I was looking at that thinking, she’ll get rid of that, I know she will. And boom, you did, Beautiful as ever ‼️🥰⭕️⭕️
Lol..thank you Joanne. You are so correct..that pink is right out of my color comfort level. I am trying to paint in many colors these days keeping in mind that it's not all about me...lol But it should Be!. Cindy😀
Lol..at times I forget their ages. I sill feel like mom of teenagers who don't always make the best decisions. Parenthood is funny.. my mother will call me all stressed out and ask where I was last night. She says " I called you 9 and you weren't home!"... I'm 60!. Cindy
Do you remember a pop/psychedelic artist “back in the day”, Peter Max? He used colors very similar to these and used a lot of flowing lines in his compositions. This reminds me of a Peter Max work. (I’m so dating myself!)
Hi Ann, yes I pour on ceramic tiles. You can use any finish, glossy us easier but matt adheres better. I resin them after they have cured so it really doesn't matter to me if its glossy or matt. Cindy
Hi Ann, I sell locally as shipping costs are horrible. I do use the Aussie floeteol, although quite costly it's a game changer for cells and lacing. Cindy
Hi Carol, many apologies for taking 2 weeks to comment on your message. Life seems to have spiraled out of control at the moment. That was super nice of Shar to recommend me. I'm always happy to have a new paint pal to hang out in the messy kitchen . Thanks for joining me😀. Cindy

Many thanks Kim. It's loud and happy 😊. Cindy
A beautiful job! The pink makes it! 💖. P. S. Reminds me of a peacock and the left side (on my screen) has an eye.
Many thanks Kath. Its a bright bold piece and depending on the orientation I can find lots of things. Cindy
Gorgeous. Jodi from The Painted Dreamer turned me on to your channel. Thanks Jodi.
Hi Judy, yes a big thanks to Jodi.. I gave her a shout to say many thanks on her last gorgeous piece. 😍 Thanks so much for joining me. Cindy
This is beautiful. I see an eye as well. Was wondering what you do with the tile as well.
