He's a slippery guy, that's for sure. Davis is a good wrestler who did well last year and will be back. Davis wrestled at 125 last year, so he has moved up into new territory.
Davis took all the shots, LOL. But Van Dee is slippery. His defense got Davis into trouble, which was a good learning experience for Davis. I believe Van Ness is still creaky from the year layoff. Lovett is no slouch. Van Ness will get better in the coming weeks. He is a young guy with a lot of upside.
i agree that davis was the aggressor, but van dee is really good. i think that match is a coin flip. davis wrestles a little too recklessly, and needs to clean up the mistakes.
What match were you watching? “Penn State start losing”? Whatever you are smoking you need to stop. The beating Penn State administered, at Nebraska was savage. 33 was lucky. 49 was well done by Lovett. Got to tip you hat and congratulate him. We will see if that will happen at Big Tens and Nationals.
What is up, doesn't PSU do takedowns anymore? Who ate these guys? Where are Golf, Rutherford and Nickel when you need them. And thanks to the NEB partisans who thought it would be a good idea to just show a couple upsets...look at the score.
I was shocked that Van Ness didn’t get a single takedown. For a guy with such a high offensive motor it’s worrisome to see him get in on the legs zero times
Lovett wrestles his best when he lets it rip
Tyler Kasak is jacked, best sophomore in the country
Shapiro would say otherwise
@@thestrongestnerd4284yeah Mayer is on a different level this year but I will say I don’t see Teemer beating Tyler at the big10 tournament.
Nebraska has some live dogs in the national title picture, Van Dee and Lovett really dominated.
brock hardy at 141 is a contender too, and smith at 125 (a wide open weight) could win a title.
GBR
Davis had a bad match. I guarantee it and Big tens if they see each other again and it nationals vane get smoked.
Lovett is an Idaho kid. WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Announcers called it. He was hunting the Jonesy. Jonesy roll into bow and arrow on an absolute stud. That’s insane.
Kasak’s counter at 19:20. Unreal….
NAH VAN DEE'S DEFENSE IS DIFFERENT 🤯

That Braeden Davis and Shayne Van Ness match won’t happen again
How does Van Ness make up 9 points?

Shayne Van ness looked good till the 3rd period
Yeah next time they might get pinned.
Based on what? How do you think shayne overcomes a major?
Wow it’s so good to see penn start losing now other teams will no these guys are all unbeatable at least the lightweights and middle weights
Those were their only two losses in the dual. Congrats to Van Dee and Lovett.
They lost TWO whole matches, not impressive if you’re Nebraska. Ridge won’t beat Shane next go round.
I don't think winning a dual meet against nebraska 31-7 means that they started losing.

Davis did
Van Ness will not lose to Lovett next time!
