It looks like the Rapidstrike's and Hyperfire's love child, the thumbhole stock, the flywheel master race, the cary handle, and the only tactical rail on the whole damn blaster (that trait is from the Hyperfire)

Nerf is slowly becoming Asphalt 8, because “their” creators are just making everything so bad that most fans will just leave, and it will eventually end
I think when Elite came out it was as powerful as they are legally allowed to make in most countries, some like australia already had dumbed down versions because its too strong. Without the ability to make things shoot harder all they can do is make it shoot faster. They can't really improve on the elite designs all they can really do is invent a new dart "ultra" which instead of making functional they made shit and cheap so they can make even more off dart sales. New gimmicks are the only real thing they can put out
Alright I know what Asphalt is but why not compare Elite to something like Halo or Call of Duty. Same thing happening with those. Also what happened to Asphalt? One day it's pretty popular the next day it's gone. Well my 9 year old brother play it but not sure who else does :/
Homie, we are a minority. We take the hobby seriously, but in number we are NOTHING compared to the huge number of kids who just want to shoot darts and have fun. If we all left, the nerf gun market wouldn't really be bothered

The problem with the Motostryke's trigger spring is that....
It's not even a traditional spring. It's a leaf spring type that has two thin curved plastic arms that are supposed to return the triggers, but fail most of the time.
The test model in the toy fair had a spring with the trigger, so hasbro cheaping out on the blaster is what ruins it.
You can still open it up to put a real one...

I actually got a Motostryke. The problem you had with yours didn’t happen to mine, but my trigger seized up every 3 shots. It was so annoying.
I bought two and haven't had any issues at all. I'm not doubting Coop or yourself, but maybe there was a deficient line or lines? Does Nerf work like that?
You kinda have to pull the rev trigger down. Harder it helps

Some helpful tip to anyone who has the troubles with the trigger, after some time to look at the internals i fixed my motostryke trigger by just sanding down the rev switch stop just a lil then smoothing down the area on the trigger where it hits the stop, it helps it move ALOT smoother of a trigger pull and all you need is some sand paper. Hope this helps!

Was kinda considering buying this blaster after seeing it at Toy Fair. Kinda mad that NERF didn't replace that spring with a better one. It just seemed like a simple thing to do that would've made the blaster good. I also got frustrated when I saw the test firing! was planning on getting this for christmas, but im super glad you got a review out for this, cause i really dont want to get it now that i know of the trigger issue, hope they fix that at some point , thanks coop :)
Mine doesn't have that issue with the trigger. It does however have an issue with the mage release. It's a little "sticky"
I've noticed some problems with the trigger locking up (on mine) were because the rev tigger was getting slightly out of full compression so it engages the trigger lock but the fly wheels are still revving.

One thing to consider is when it comes to manufacturing, batches are produced in large amounts. Those batches are distributed over many cities across the States. Many of those distribution centers provide the same batches to many different stores, which is why you can come across the same issue despite being from different stores. The safest bet you can take is finding any manufacturing codes or lot numbers and comparing them. If they are the same, it could mean they're from the same batch.
Best bet would to be buying one product, waiting for that product to run dry or be refreshed with new stock, and trying that.

My dad and I bought these things, and we don’t have trigger issues. Got them for 20 bucks on clearance at target for each (40 total) plus we got 4 extra bullet boxes. We have nerf wars with em all the time. Fun guns to use overall

I agree, I recently got mine. But my trigger is coloured grey and coops is orange, maybe I have a newer design or something, but it works absolutely flawlessly

i modded mine to lipo. i took everything out to rewire it and that fixed the issue when i put the trigger mech back in
