UK prepares for energy alternatives amid warnings of potential blackouts

In the UK, there had been warnings of potential blackouts on cold days, if enough gas couldn't be imported to meet demand.
But despite those fears, electricity generation has remained constant, with no impact on the public.
Wind energy has become increasingly important for the UK, but as SABC News Correspondent John Bevir *(Beaver) reports, authorities there have also put back up plans in place.
