current consoles should have a max setting mode that renders textures at ultra, while lowering the pixels and fps I don't find it fair just for pc to have ultra textures, when consoles could handle that with less resolution and frame rate, especially the pro

The more advanced newer games come out the more behind in performance the pro will get. A 5 year old CPU is a 5 year old CPU, not a new one because the old CPU is put in a "new" "professional" console. Sony and Mark Cerny didnt even supply customers with the real specifications before release. Also the marketing of "up to" 45%? At most you are seeing 30%. But not in UE5. ue5 is heck on any gpu regardless of cpu. i play fortnite for example and see even with pros with 4090 and ryzen 9 chips. even on performance mode people experience big frame rate drop. even on very finely tweaked out performance mode settings.

CPU bottleneck? 😂 PS5 has no RAM. It has 512mb of RAM.😂 More RAM would increase frame rate. New 8 core I5 PCs have higher frame rate because they come with 16gb of DDR5 unlike a Playstation.

CPU is a 3700x if im being generous. Retails for £80-£120 and is 4 generations ago. Weve had 5000, 7000 and 9000 since then. That is how old that CPU is. Expecting it to keep up with modern titles that are also on pc and then telling us its fine... anyone with a pc knows what that cpu is and isnt capable of. If you run that CPU in cyberpunk for example expect the gpu to bottleneck. Same with large maps like warzone.

You will not get a PC at 700 that competes with the PS5 pro, you just won't. Why would you even try with second hand parts and no guarantees ? I'd take a base PS5 over a 700 tower gaming PC amytime. My laptop is 1000 and theoretically more powerful than my PS5, but in reality it isn't because the PS5 pro is specifically built for gaming and my laptop while it can do gaming it's better for me replying to your comment. Everyday I see comments like yours and it just shows that you're looking at numbers and don't have a PS5 or PS5 pro.. Jedi survivor plays great on my base PS5 ... Till this day high end PCs struggle with it. PS5 and PS5 pro is just hassle free gaming stations. Personally if I was the Ceo I would enhance the Cpu as 8 cores isn't enough in today's age I use a 16 core Amd chip which is more than enough 12 cores I say is enough for a solid 60Fps experience as you'll notice consoles do dip under 60fps at times
@Crophixx I should know i had a ps5 and got rid it after a week i brought dead island 2 to see what all the fuss was about it dipped below 60Fps in most cases it started off strong but then the cracks would start to show a third the way through the game it feels like it has a 3060 for a gpu, I can't comment on the pro as i haven't used one, all the talk was how powerful it was if you remember I'm a pc gamer and pitting the ps5 up against my 5 year old pc was a fair comparison at 1440p it pumps out 120Fps to 160 odd fps on most games a console that costs £500 to £700 should get close to it otherwise it's a waste of money considering how much it costs to buy.

Not so expensive? So $700 is cheap? You can get a decent PC for $700. A console should be under $600 and that’s it.
