We got him to get us to the World Series and win, and at the end of it that’s exactly what he did. He blew the lead because Maddon used him terribly throughout the series and he shouldn’t have even been pitching in the 8th to begin with. Looking back at highlights throughout the second half and literally every other appearance by Chapman in the postseason proves he was near perfect. Possibly the greatest trade in Cubs history even if we didn’t keep him

Joe Maddon said screw it and put him in, and holy crap that stadium was rocking when he jogged to the mound! Moment I’ll never forget!
