dreamy and surreal spaces: 3D modeling and rendering with sketchup + vray

sharing my workflow in creating dream-like 3d rendered spaces.
this is episode 4 of the paradigmatic series: "SHIBUI". this episode is very special to me because i made these images specifically for my very own brand that i've been working on for months - 渋い Shibui Home Studio. the scenes i designed personally mirrors the brand's identity, especially the first collection that will be dropping this jan 2021. i built this brand with my sister-in-law, and yes, we're a two-woman team! our studio explores the possibilities of a simple yet sublime aesthetic and transforms it into collections. we bring you a range of handpicked home objects and functional art curated into multiple concepts ~ visit us: / shibuihomestudio www. shibuihomestudio
meanwhile, the Paradigmatic Series is an existing 3D collection of mine wherein i feature dream-like spaces inspired by the free-forms of the imagination. the word “paradigm” refers to an ideal standard, and truly, these surreal interpretations bring different realities to life. i started this series during my most vulnerable and dull days at the start of quarantine to somehow make an escape from the real world. ~ more episodes here: designbyjesseydeleon
