I just bought this watch and when I got it I discovere the movement wasn’t a Seiko movement so I did some research and discovered the Pearl movements are known to die after just a few months and the gmt hand is known to break easily so I’m returning it, especially because I paid $130. We need something between the PD and the SM. I don’t want to pay $400 for an hommage and PD are just not cutting it for me even if they do offer plenty of value at this price point.
Totally agree I've gotten 2 of their watches one broke in a month the second one didn't hand wind right out of the box,then I came across Tandorio watches got a 62 mas homage for 100$and it couldn't be any nicer very impressive 👍
That's kind of hard to do with gmt movements being so expensive. But if you wait for the 11.11 sale on ali, the Cronos will probably be under $300. Also, this channel reviewed a $150 GMT that homages a seiko. But I think it's too big and kinda ugly
The issue with the "jumping GMT hand" could be addressed the following way: if the crown is turned in the other direction after setting the GMT hand just a little bit, a quarter of the whole turn is enough and pushed back in, the GMT hand won't jump)
No AliExpress watches seem to get the Pepsi colours quite right. It looks great in their promotional pictures (probably Photoshopped) with the dark blue and red but once you get them the colours look very bright and tacky in my opinion
100% the lume on hands is awful but as a reviewer when u see these guys constantly having poor lume and then finally getting something half decent 😏 haha
I am thinking of getting this and modifying it. I have a full set of Tudor hands and a Tudor dial. I am very tempted to swap out the hands and dial. That's all I have, don't have a broken one, ended up with the parts after repairing a customers, he opted for new hands etc, I bought the old stuff from him and have resumed the hands, the hand stack is the same and if the hands don't fit they can be made to fit.
Been waiting for someone to review this one! I think Pagani is getting there. This one is not completely winning me over, for a bit less I would probably still buy it but at the price that it sits now I feel like I can get a better value with other AliExpress brands. Keep it up mate!
Have a look at some of the steeldive watches , I've been impressed with the hulk sub steeldive I've just got ,,for the money it's awesome and the lume is the best I've seen at these prices

Good review, however I won’t be getting this any time soon. Unless you specifically want a GMT there are much better watches for the same/similar money. The new box is nice, but it’s just smoke and mirrors and shouldn’t be considered if you are wanting as much watch as possible for your money. Overall it is a step up in finishing which is nice, but the lume and qc issues still let PD down, they are not far off the level that will make them desirable without costing SM money. Can’t wait to see what they release next. Good, honest review as always.
Great review. The brand Corgeut do a very good Rolex GMT homage and I own their Tudor Black Bay Heritage homage which I think is banging. I think they might do a Tudor GMT homage as well?
Looks kinda rough even for the money, given how well Chinese watches are made these days. But I’m glad someone is making this watch. Tudor doesn’t seem to be in any hurry to shrink their GMT. I sure do wish these companies would invest the money for a bi-directional bezel for their GMT watches. I own homage GMTs from Pagani, Tisell, and Tiger Concept. I don’t think any of them have the proper bezel. It seems like spread out over such a volume of watches, the cost could easily be absorbed by the customer.
The only company that I'm ok with their bad lume, is Vostok. I had bought 2 PD watches in the past, I thought they were so poorly done, I actually gave them away. It does seem like they're trying to improve a little though.
I mustve missed these, never saw them. I have 2 of the GMT master homages but they have flaws like misaligned cyclops, and I also do not like the movement, since I had a couple of Chinese movements fail on me I am sceptical and prefer Japanese. Plus: Tudor > Rolex. Edit: correction! I did see those at some point, but I avoided them and forgot about them, I remembered when I checked your QC issues part about the dots on the bezel. The numbers on the bezel are kinda irregular too, looks like one big blob of shiny paint thrown in there. I hate that. I own 1 watch with these same issues and I never ever wear it, it's hidden in a dark corner in one of my watchboxes. I would rather spend $25 or so more and have crisp markings on the bezel.

Great detailed review. Watch looks very nice, for the cash ! But why, oh why can't Pagani just spend a few more pence on some decent Lume ? That's the only thing that lets the watch down badly enough to put me off. Shame.
No paganis for me until the lume gets better. It’s silly that they’re raising prices and still giving us crap lume. I couldn’t care less for the fancier box, I’d take good lume and better qc any day.
set the GMT hand where you want it, then turn the crown the other way (in the direction to change the date) about 1/8th of a turn. this stops the GMT hand from jumping. this tip can be used for any of these cheap Chinese DG GMT movement. We also need to stop giving pagani "a pass" bezel misalignment is so easy to fix...no excuses IMO. as for the case finishing where the brushing is bleeding over to the polished areas, my corgeut, a watch half the price, is done nearly perfect. again, no excuses. instead of giving them a pass, why not call them out and get them to make a better product?
Ive reviewed quite a few PD over my time and looking at the customer FB across the various aliexpress store, ao many people buy them and their highly rated and not much has changed. For me, seeing a small improvement is worth acknowledging but ultimately the smaller issues picked up wouldn't deter me or affect the watch like the case design. The fact that the bezel was fine on this overshadowed the alignment in my opinion. Personally a slightly misalignment doesn't affect me in the slightest. You've got to consider expectations at this price point, yes while some cheaper brands can do this better, it's still a hit and miss overall.
I think PD is one of those companies that dont care about feedbacks or real improvments such as SM, cronos, etc. They never wanna improve their lume like others.
Nice review, but the lume is rotten. It's not even anywhere and the minute hand disappears before the hour hand. I compare this to a Heimdallr I own, same price as this and perfectly even and all night lume. The brushing on the case is badly impinging on the polished area. The bezel is badly off and very noticeable. This watch isn't worth 40 quid.
I sadly have to agree. It's so bad it's embarrassing. I also have a Heimdallr Monster, a Steeldive Tuna, same price as the Pagani, an Addies dive pilot (only €60) and they all have excellent lume. This really is a total failure.

Lume is not good, even for the price range. Yellow paint and golden hands would make it more retro. Why not 120 click? It should reduce the mis-alignment significantly
It's a very attractive watch, I really want a GMT, it's the one watch type I don't have, but my friend that lume is absolutely horrible. It's uneven, the minute hand is less bright than the hour hand, some indices are brighter than others, there's even patchy areas on the indices, how they managed that on such a small area is hard to understand. I cannot understand how you said that was good lume. It's probably the worst I've ever seen in terms of evenness and quality. And if you can't see the hands, it's worthless. Good watch, but that lume makes this watch a pass. They haven't improved it at all. I've seen better Pagani watches than this, it might have been dull but at last it was consistently dull everywhere. It's embarrassingly bad. Sorry, but that's just my opinion. I cannot understand how you could with any stretch of the imagination give that lume a pass. Misaligned bezels don't get a pass either. This is the first time one of your reviews looks like a promotional video. I'm sure it's not meant to be but you're looking at this watch through Rose tinted glasses.
👍👍 Yes, the Watcher is honest, but he got this one wrong. It's the worst watch I've seen in terms of lume, finishing and an obviously badly misaligned bezel. We were all expecting a big jump in quality but that watch is only suitable for the recycling bin.
My bad on not making it clear. It's not that good compared to other watches, the comparison was compared to their usual quality and what they usually send. I still hold the view this is their best compared to their usual stuff and a big jump up. But if you compare against others then they're still far off. Hope that makes sense...

I do disagree on this point though guys. Ive reviewer a fair few paganis and have never really been a fan. I think in their line of pagani watches, this is better BUT still needs way more improving..that is agreed!

It’s because they’re done on aluminum. I’m sure you’ve heard how hard it is to make ceramic red/blue bezels.
Still far too many QC problems .. that lume still looks pitiful to my eyes .. but as always an honest and fair review from you 👍👍👍

Mine is still in transit, red and black version. Got the GMT mainly to avoid Miyota, a week or two and I will see if that was a good choice.

Good review, however I won’t be getting this any time soon.
Unless you specifically want a GMT there are much better watches for the same/similar money.
The new box is nice, but it’s just smoke and mirrors and shouldn’t be considered if you are wanting as much watch as possible for your money.
Overall it is a step up in finishing which is nice, but the lume and qc issues still let PD down, they are not far off the level that will make them desirable without costing SM money. Can’t wait to see what they release next.

If you very slighty wind the crown back after setting the GMT time it should stop the jump.

Well….the lume is about on par with my Squale GMT. Looks like it’s certainly good enough for the money.
If your Squale looked like that, you should have sent it back! I have a Squale myself. Perfect lume, great for diving.

Pagani design. Except Pagani doesn't design anything. Just copy design's of other brands. In most cases Rolex and Tudor.
Hands are really curious. I have 1662 Mercedes Hand is more funny . And crown look unptotected
