    Great review. As an owner along the years of several Pagani I must say that the quality is amazing for the ridiculous price.
    To those who complain about the lume, bezel and so on, I’d recommend to go and spend their money in Rolex or Tudor. Then they must be happy.

      er... you don't to buy a rolex or a tudor to get better lume, some watches from steeldive, san martin, sugess, seastern have much better lume than PD for prices around this range. it is really PD's worst aspect

    Great work with the review, I have one of these and I agree with a lot of what you said. They really need to step up their lume game. They are getting better, but some similar and cheaper watches have surpassed them by quite a lot.

    I Just Got Mine Yesterday. And am Blown Away By the Leaps and Bounds Pagani Has Made. This watch comes in Just under 40mm and the perfect height Love the crown Crystal and The Bracelet and Clasp With Pushers.

    I got this a few weeks ago, my first GMT mostly to avoid non hacking Miyota. So far everything works good, daily average is around -5s. Lume is bad as usual, epecially on hands, but first time for Pagani bracelet had no stuck or stiff links.

    This is a really nice time piece. I have the blue/black version and people are complimentary when I wear it. The only issue ive had is the GMT hand doesnt work correctly and when you push the crown in the minute hand will jolt a few mins forward ( so have to be gentle with it). Pagani did offer a replacement but I declined due to the faff of it all.

    it would be hilarious if the date always clicks over on this $100 pagani when the tudor movement spends all its time in the watchmaker’s warranty return bucket

    Excellent video review.
    I recently purchased a Pagani Design PD-1693 'Freccione'
    This video makes the PD-1706 a more sensible purchase, instead of the PD-1682 'Polar' (which seems like a redundant purchase).
    Thank you.

    Just received mine coke.
    The overal quality of the outer case and strap are very good bezel movement is acceptable with no back play bezel insert colour not bad at all.
    Keeps good time only complaint I have is movement quality is it up to par with Seiko.
    Overfussy Kettering.
    Would prefer 41/42 mm watch on my wrist

    Personally, I am not going to buy another Pagani Design until they improve the lume on their watches. If brands like Steeldive, and Addiesdive can produce watches in the same price brackets with great lume, then so can Pagani! Great review as always!

      Agree! I'm also not buying any Pagani's until the movement issue is resolved (i.e. something other than the Miyota 8215). I have two I like the look of but am holding off for now.

    Hi would it fit a 6.5 inch wrist without overhang? Most appreciate your guidance!

    • @hitsugayat10
      @hitsugayat10 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The lug to lug is short. I have one and my wrist is only 6.25inch. It fits well, similar to a 41mm heimdallr 62mas and steinhart ocean one 39

    Not sure how I feel about that red crown ring since I believe it would probably make it less versatile and less dressy. Other than that design wise this is almost my ideal do it all watch, however that credit really goes to Tudor. Who knows maybe I'll come to appreciate the red crown ring in time and it will become something to give it a little of it's own identity.

    I am starting to like aluminum bezels more again now after jumping on the ceramic bezel train for a while....

    • @altonza
      @altonza 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ceramic looks good in the right setting, more formal events. However IMO can look a bit cheap and bling bling in casual or sport settings. Kinda like looking at a gold watch and wondering to yourself if it’s real, plated and so forth.

    always great reviews i like it but Pagani is so hit and miss on a quality level for me so I have stopped buying them until they improve.

  • @Dirtywesterner

    No free NATO strap w/mine...The clasp on the Corgeut bb58 homage is similar to the Tudor's, but Pagani's imo falls short, cheapening the overall feel of the watch. Lume is amazing, however it's quick to fade...I'm curious , are there any luxury watches that have such a pronounced bulging of the lens above the bezel

      It's made in China, what do you think?

  • @erizzle67

    I think the next steps for Pagani Design should be: branch out into more fresh designs of their own (and pull back on homage watches) and turn the quality up just one more click. Even if they have to charge slightly more. I just got a PD last week. Under macro there’s a bit of trash on the dial. In the box there was a broken half of a watch bracelet pin. My watch has screws so no idea where this piece of trash metal came from! Overall just takes away from the experience and the otherwise perfect product. For the price ok. But I’m really rooting for them. They make watches that I can afford so I hope they keep pushing forward!

    Love how Pagani include a completely worthless warranty card.

    Those movements have questionable quality control. They can last a while... Or they can die young. But it's not a huge investment at least.
