Part two of a two-part trip from New Zealand to Antarctica.

This movie is part two of a two-part story of our trip to Antarctica. Part one covers our journey south, from New Zealand across the Southern Ocean to Campbell Island. Then crossing the Antarctic Circle at latitude 66° 33’S and onto Cape Adare, Coulman Island to Ross Island (with Mt Erebus, Scott’s Hut & McMurdo Station) to latitude 77° 51’S where our passage south is blocked by pack-ice. In part two we head north, back to Cape Adare exploring the Possession Islands, Robertson Bay to Balleny Island and the sub-Antarctic island of Macquarie. During the trip you will see lots of ice bergs, sea ice, snow, penguins (Adelie, Emperor, Royal, King & Gentoo), whales (Minkie, Orcas & Humpback), seals and many species of birds. The scenery is incredible.
