IWintoLose actually made a great point in his Ellen video that ATK isn't calculated the same way in ZZZ as it in other games. ZZZ's ATK from WEngines is a multiplier on top of all damage as opposed to an additive effect to the character's base stat. I could be wrong but Brimstone and any other WEngines with ATK % are a lot more efficient to invest in compared to WEngines that increate DMG % Edit: I watched his video again and it sounds like it's a multiplier on top on the final ATK value from Relics/Flat ATK/WEngines/Base. So the more ATK you have the more ATK you'll get from the WEngines that provide additional ATK. I got the Brimstone when I lost Ellen's WEngine 50/50 💀 but turns out it's a pretty decent weapon and I'll pass it on to my S11 if I end up landing Ellen W-Egine before the banner ends
@@iamkurogane yup I’ve seen that. Which is why starlight engine gets a lot better right now. What it comes now to is that vs the loss in critical rate which is the hardest thing for me once I get my characters maxed and test more in game I will update any changes. It’s hard because practically has to play a huge factor due to conditions being harder to do consistently than you’d like. Ellen and Zhu yuan is a clear cut case. However steel cushion on the likes of the physical attackers can possible lose even with the better stat spread. I want to do in-game testing first tho so give me more time!
@@CyanTril-Zenless I see what you're saying. Starlight Engine would be a good alternative with higher copies. Getting crit from weapons is always preferable to ATK. I guess I just appreciate that the ATK% from Weapon passives are a separately multiplier on top of the base stats. So better than HSR/WuWa ATK% weapons. Brimstone imo is still a good source of free damage this early in the game when A rank weapons at max copies aren't all that common especially since it's an all-purpose weapon. It's just a ton of raw damage. The elemental based signatures like Ellen's, Nekomata's and Zhu Yuan's look better on paper for sure Appreciate the info as always

weeping cradle is not good for nicole? It most certainly is. also anby's signature has been shown to be one of her worse ones for her, steam oven is a much stronger alternative.
I think it depends on how you look at the game. Currently yes I can see why you would say Nicole and Anby options are those. If all you do is use them for EX Special attack and peace them out you are right esp early in the game where most people don't level their support characters. That was a lack of judgement on my part as I was thinking of my own usage as I play Anby on point as a DPS until she stuns for corin to break. I did consider updating the video anyways so it will make more sense and use sheets cuz I didn't really get points across like I wanted. Also I notice are looking more into damage calcs now so I will need to show numbers. Thanks for the comment

I think 3 for the upgrade is a good breakpoint I want to do experiments on solo character setups to see if it’s worth doing over a typical build for some characters to reduce the amount of resources required to invest but for now. 3 level 40 looks to be a must as for anymore it doesn’t matter for the next two weeks since shiyu defense won’t update anyways
This seems like a very cheap guide? The tips for S-Ranks and which W-Engine to use if u don't have their sig seems good to me, but you could've taken more time for the 4 Stars and their W-Engines. Your guide basically tells us to just use their signature engines if you don't have a S-Rank engine that might be better suited, that doesn't take a genius. Take Ben Bigger for example, and imagine you don't have his sig W-Engine, there are still 5 alternatives which you could consider, Bunny Band & Identity Base for instance. How are the calcs behind those? Does Identity Base scale better due to its passive than bunny band?
If I was to do a video like that for every character it would either be way too long and most people don’t have attention span for that. If you want spreadsheets I’m not your guy sorry for that I like to focus on practically. In Ben bigger case specifically. His second best option would be bunny band for f2p. If you’re looking for in-depth for each that’s a 30-40 min video most people aren’t watching that.
