Thanks for sharing , I built a 2240 into a carbine and then added a PCP tube to the mix . I really like the Ratcatcher it is a nice platform to play with .
@@jonwoodhousea.k.a.pistolcr3943 and vice versa Thanks man . I just saw a cool video about polishing the inside of the barrel with car wax or polishing compound. I decided to get some micro diamond paste to polish my barrel with , I will post when my diamond paste come in . The video I watched basically said the difference between a Lothar barrel and a crosman is the Lothar is polished to a high degree taking out as many of the Mico imperfections as possible and that we can accurize our guns by fully cleaning then polishing , I figure its worth a try plus it's fun .
@@jonwoodhousea.k.a.pistolcr3943 you should look up Dr Russ Airguns , his latest video about keeping your guns out of the repair shop has tid bits about cleaning and polishing your airgun barrel his idea about using polishing compounds to get rid of micro imperfections and what ot actually mean when we say a riffle needs to be leaded in or why riffles accurize themselves after 500 shots is very informative it sparked ideas for me and I used some mothers car wax it clearly made a difference, this was all after cleaning the factory gunk out , this guy gave me lots of ideas like using diamond lapping spray or micro diamond paste . 100,000 grit micro diamond paste on the way .
@MrChrisfrew I removed the fore stock, marked where the sling swivel stud was going, made a hole slightly smaller than the stud, screwed it in and epoxy d it in place. The bipod I used attaches with a sling swivel stud.

Depends on where you live. Here in the UK, as it is technically a pistol, we are limited to 5 foot pounds, so it is definitely NOT suitable for anything other than very close quarters rat shooting.
@@jonwoodhousea.k.a.pistolcr3943 I was wondering about this Is it classed as a rifle or a pistol. If it's classed as a pistol you would not be allowed to own one that is putting out 8 flb of energy.
Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately I find it very difficult to do much filming of actual shooting since I had 2 strokes. (The weather isn't helping either). I've just looked at your channel and see that you have no videos.- why not make some and post them yourself?
@@jonwoodhousea.k.a.pistolcr3943 Tks Jon good job 👍 I think that version you have there equipped in that configuration is one well thought out rig . Out off all the pellet guns out there I think Crosman 1322 in any configuration is one of the best at any price. That said the gun can back it up. A must have with the pump version (no co2 required)if it becomes scarce is recommended.

Great review thinking of getting into air guns maybe next year 👍 for all your videos liked the bsa lightning vid too
Thanks. I'd say "do it" if you can. - it's a great hobby!
Hello thanks for the vid I just wondered how did you mount the bipod thanks 😊
Thanks for your kind words! I removed the fore grip and made a small hole with a bradawl, then screwed in and glued a sling swivel stud.
Can I ask how did you attach the bipod to the 2250xl ?

loved my old ratty you can easily get the power up to legal limit ( and you can also spend a good bit of cash on mods ) enjoy 😁
Yes, it should be lots of fun to use. Ive seen lots of TH-cam videos showing the various modifications possible so I might have a go in the future! 🙂
IAM buying one tomorrow XL
Very nice, I think you'll have lots of fun with it! 🙂

Hi George They're certainly good fun, aren't they? I 👍🙂
A shotgun shell holder with some foam works very well as a butt stock pad as well as storage for 5 CO2 cans for better balance. Nice set up.
That's a good idea. That's one of the things I like about the ratcatcher- you can modify it to suit your needs in so many ways 👍🙂

They can take a beating and keep on hitting.😎
That's very true! 🙂
Could you put the link up for the tripod please mate

I quite agree! 👍🙂
what band is the suppressor?????thanks
If you mean what make is it - it's an Aetec Wave, it costs about £40 in the UK and is very effective!
What’s the upper limit for these guns with hunting? Rabbits? Hares?

It's a rifle so the power is fine! 👍

So, is it a rifle or pistol by uk law. Which is it?

Why not just shoot it instead of garbling on so we can see the main thing of it

Thanks! I must admit, it really annoys me when someone makes a comment like that when they themselves have done nothing! 🙂
