Fun fact: Reversed tarot cards are a real thing. Drawing a tarot card upside down reverses its meaning.
No, these tarot cards just a little JoJo Reference.
Not every single card in the deck has a reversed meaning while being reversed. Some have a doubled original meaning, others have a completely different meaning to begin with. Not everyone who read tarot like the "reversed card" thingy so it's up to you if you want to work with them. I usually just read with the original meanings.

@@JustARedDog Tarot cards are a very old real thing, existing in back in 15th century, however they're nothing but a simple interpretation game masked as way to read the future.
Every single tarot has reversed and regular position which generally changes what it means, the game even takes this into account, applying tarot card meanings to certain game mechanics.

This killed an awesome run i had. If you go into the black market of a crawl space and spawn another crawl space, you cant go back to the floor without a teleport card or by leaving to the next floor. If you try go out the ladder, it just rakes you back to the top of the other shower ladder in the room

@@Puffman728 you're right, but your run would really need to be amazing to go for 5 pills with false phd, what if you get 3 health downs and 2 shot speed downs for example, you could fuck your run up, and yes you can get hearts back but you need good stats to even try to go for worse stats

The Tower? has the coolest looking effect out of any of the cards, that reverse sounds and rocks just appearing is so satisfying
Everyone probably knows this by now, but 2:17 the reverse emperor doesn't take you to a random boss, it takes you to a boss that's two floors ahead of the one you're currently on.
Having a crawlspace in a crawlspace should either be like a super secret crawlspace or an I AM ERROR room

@@WanderTheNomad I think the reversed justice spawning chests is like a way to remind Isaac that he locked himself inside a chest because he thought it was a punishment for his sins
@@WanderTheNomad Temperance may be connected with the idea of balance and alchemy. All things come from something else or you need to put something in to get something out. The normal Temperance cards let's you convert health into money (maintaining balance) while the reverse Temperance card creates stats out of nothing with pills.
More likely though the reverse Temperance card is a reference to intemperance or a lack of self control so you take 5 random pills. This is just guessing though.
Temperance? + Tarot cloth should turn the 5 pills into horse pills
that would be amazing. You could get I found pills 5 times and deafen everyone in a 5km radius.

@@dallama2616 And "Temperance?", coincidentally, is a card. If Tarot Cloth was to double its effect, turning the pills it forces you to take into horse pills would be cleaner than making you take 10 pills in a row instead.

The effect of the reversed magician card is the best. It is literally the opposite of the normal one. Instead of making your projectiles homing it makes you avoid the projectiles of your enemies.

Fun runbreak with the stars: d1+ car battery. Find one full charge on the floor and dupe that, then start duping the reverse stars in another room until there's too many to move around, then start popping them in another room. Enjoy!

So the Lovers? Card is like the Magic Skin from actual antibirth, except you can only use it once and it doesn't ruin your item rooms.

During the April Fools Challenge I used "How To Jump" so many times I actually discovered those cards by accident. Because I could use that book infinitely, I just did some really wacky stuff.

Reverse fool have his uses. Like, play reverse fool then use diplopia or jera rune. Doubling your resourse pool.
The reverse temperance card is just a gold pill except it forces you to take it physically rather than mentally.
