for 5 volt we need at lest 8 cell
So if you want to charge you mobile phone at 500 mp
you need 500*8 = 4000 coin.

Very useful for a science project. Helped me a lot and it is very easy to make. 5 out of 5 stars
Here's what I would do: I would stack up all those 4,000 coins into a nice rectangle probably 400 coins per line times 10 lines = 4,000 coins then I would format it into a rectangular frame where all coins are held sturdy and in place, but all of them are open air and accessible, then you can take a spray bottle and just spray all the cells in order to "activate them", as in start generating electricity and then you can charge the smart phone. Alternatively, you can briefly submerge the rectangular frame of 4,000 coins into water and then take it out and that should be enough for it to start delivering voltages.
You can probably repeat many many cycles before any corrosion kicks in and starts affecting the generative potential. I would estimate a minimum of 500+ cycles might be attainable for such a unit, so 4,000 coins is $40 is like getting your very own portable battery pack for your smartphone a good thing to have during an emergency/power failure as the only thing you would need in order to "charge" such a power bank would be...water... a spray bottle filled with water and off to charging your smartphone.
I know that the OP on this video has used vinegar, but in the past I have created such a cell using nothing but water and I was getting the very same voltages he was getting read on my Multi Volt Meter, so I believe that these 4,000 coins can still generate a pretty good amount of amperage with nothing but water reasonably charging your smartphone with a reasonable amount of charging amperage.

I just used enough cell to produce 40ma 5v current so that the phone I used can show it charging. In reality you need thousands of coin (may be10k coins) to make an 1 amp 5v power-supply. It took me there days to make this project, i get success after three trial. don't try to charge your mobile phone it too much work. fun with light up led.
