I had to clean out the filters and reservoir on my 130i many years ago and it was a right pain to remove the reservoir completely from the car. Wheel off, arch liners off etc. The previous owner had used cheap washer fluid and everything was gunked up. I’ve used genuine BMW washer fluid from that point on and never had any more problems. Also had to strip out the rear hatch to do the pipe work and nozzle for the rear washers. All good fun though and a great sense of achievement 👍

True, been there done that, the reservoir on the 130i is buried!

Yum it’s a turd of a job. I had to do it on my wife’s old 125i. Never again 😂

Awesome vid again! Was looking for an e46 Touring 330d but was not able to find nice ones over here in Germany so I went for e91 with N57D30, but I still like the e46 base. Great cars, congrats for yours, even the underside looks really clean!

Nice. I just saw an E46 330d touring sell here locally that was an individual bronze colour, nice car

Being an E46, it's possible the gauge cluster has been disassembled at some point due to pixel rot and then been reassembled slightly off.

If it was an E39 or E53 I would say yes. This actually happened to my E53 fuel gauge after I sent it for repair. I’ve never seen an E46 cluster display go bad, but who knows?

It's been a while since I watch again your channel. Last time I asked opinion about the E53. I ended up getting an E46 just like yours but 2005. These videos will help out definitely on basic maintenance. Also what happened to your X5?

Welcome back. I liked the E53 but it’s gone, I lost it

Quick question - as your driveway isn't exactly level, is there any general part of the vehicle you check to know if it is correct, front to rear and side to side?
I find it much easier, and cheaper, to source the same screenwash with antifreeze through a MINI dealership. Always good to have a scan tool to accurately check engine temp and put mind at rest. Top work!

If you want to get the level perfect, put a straight edge across two of the jacking blocks with a spirit level, then set your jack stands up accordingly. As long as it’s within a few degrees it’s fine though. I worked mine out years ago for this driveway so I have a good idea how to set the jack stands up each time now.
I always forget some towns have a stand alone Mini dealership. Good screen wash anyhow!

I like the VX220 profile pic BTW, I remember seeing them at the Vauxhall dealerships when they first came out, cool car for sure!

@@MTechGuy Bought brand new when lived in Dublin so is an Opel Speedster. Problems when I relocated so currently resting in garage. One day it'll be free again! Still getting my head around you calling a 330i a 'cheap runabout' 🤔🤣

Hey man don’t you have a shop? Why not build a shop instead of the car port or you could remove the carport and build one might be a lot easier then this man surely
