E46 all day. Have a simular shape 2004, 325i I'm finishing up on maintenance work. New pwr steering hoses and rez bottle done. Next is lolly pop bushings, oil pan gasket and finally tires. Runs perfect. Smooth gears. Interior is perfect. So happy to own. It's a peppy fun drive. I don't need the extra 30 hp. It does highway speeds all day long.
That does look like a very tidy car that you’ve picked up, you’ve been very lucky. Definitely need to bin the M badge 🤦♂ Why do people do that ? I had a dig at a BMW salesperson about 10 years ago at a car show. The local dealership were there with several cars on display and most of them (although not M cars) were littered with M badges. I told him that I thought BMW were doing a disservice to the M heritage. He wasn’t pleased at all by what I said but I could tell that he knew I was right. Since then they seem to have gotten even worse. Anyway I’m looking forward to the progress on this car and wish you all the best with it 👍
As a 2001 330i owner just quit bragging about your great buy haha. No winging about transmission fluid change just do it, it's not really lifetime increment! Manual swap it if it goes Tango Uniform. Check if I'm wrong but you did say "the old reach around" ha😂
Hi, I changed the spark plugs on my 130i today and now its idling very rough. Kind of feels like its misfiring but without any codes. Do you have an idea maybe?
Never quit!
Saw this parked outside BMW the other day. Looking tidy! Good buy

I used to have an E46 325i touring, it was a good car!
Keep the 330i content coming !

Cheers sixcylinders6345. Agreed, the M badge has to go!
Love the wheels on this car. u make me want this car so bad hahaha
They're 'style 68' 17 inch wheels, one of the lightest oem wheel. Staggered 7.5j and 8.5j I believe..
Yes, Style 68’s, great wheels! One of my favourites from BMW, really suit the E46 M-Sport package. The ones on this car are staggered too
I generally don't trust any cooling system of this vintage in a BMW. If I was doing the thermostat, I'd 100% do the water pump.

Coil not pluged in all the way?
Mine had a bit of a rough idle and a coil was damaged.
