Hate to nitpick, but that is actually a TS 1/4 mono cable. Not TRS as you say in your correction lol. TRS would have two black rings, not just the one :P TS also makes sense, since the output of this synth is unbalanced mono :)

I will be ordering a pair of these tomorrow I think. I was looking at others , but these look a lot more fun with the array of colours and retro looks. 😃 I’m used to the virtual ones from learning how to make acid on ‘audiotool’ and fl studio. But want something physical to have a blast on now and again.
Taught me a lot! By the way, I would like to synchronize these two, but even if I connect the RD-6's SYNC OUT and TD-3's SYNC IN with a patch cable and set the TD-3's TRIG, they will not be synchronized. Am I doing it wrong? Connect with a MIDI cable and set the TD-3 to MIDI to synchronize.
Does the tempo sync automatically when you sync the two devices with the midi cable? Or do you still have to sync them “manually” via the tempo wheel? And if that’s the case, do you find it hard and time consuming syncing the tempo? Great tutorial and demos btw, I really liked the video! :)

Note: That's not an XLR cable you're using there, it's a 1/4 inch (6.5mm) un-balanced T/S (Tip/Sleeve) cable, an XLR cable has three pins and is balanced.
my audio interface is audient id 14 mk ii can i use both with my interface ? it has only one instrument input on front. there are 2 mic line on it's back. can i use td3 and rd6 both together with my audio interface ?

Connect the RD-6 with a USB cable to computer, open reaper and enable the device from the midi device settings, press write and pattern buttons together and select USB

New to these sorta devices, great work on the vid! Just bought these 2 arriving tomorrow. Does it also sync the same way with patch cables (ie jacks) instead of midi using the same method? Also does the master device sync with the other device automatically or only manually?

Hi thanks for the sub! Both work nice and it's good to have them in case you make multiple connections with other synths, I found the 3,5 cable doesn't have latency on synchronization when you start playing and it's easier to swap cables rather finding the midi 5pin input and output
they have both audio outputs for separate connection but if you have a mixer or some spliter di box you can connect them, in this video it's connected to a audio interface with 4 inputs
Careful with that Rockboard midi cable setup. The Midi Pin are 90° from the câble line axis. This is incredibly stupid because you cannot plug 2 of them in a row, the cable will hide the next midi port close to the one you plug these cables in. As you can see yourself at 20:05

2:20 The way how TB-303 played a bass riffs - was too lame to use it, very bad sounds, very limited to a chord playing Also, the hardest part was a programming patterns to this little box, which was too long and complicated And the way how TB-303 used - was to adapt it to some kind of "back" instrument, like single-note or so. Look for "The History of TB-303 Bassline" in Russian language with CC, it explains pretty good part of it's use. also, this was just a miracle, how someone just used it with Overdrive and explored it's unique sounding!

You don't need computer, just headphones or speaker system for the sound
Hiw do you run Synthtribe for both RD6 and TD3....plan to ise Synthtribe mainly to brogram both.....
