- It's time to build a treehouse. Properly. With none of that fence foundation rubbish!
This will show you how to get a 12-sided base of foundations so you can build a treehouse easily wiithout much fuss (just a hellofalotta foundations).

Finally! This video was perfect and I was able to get my own treetop platform set up properly. I'd been using the fence post method and realized too late you can't affix anything to the walls. Had to start over to do this but it was worth it.

Good to know. Have been watching a ton of videos about building on tree platforms but the edges in these builds were always messed up

But there's one thing I stil dnt kno how to do. Access to to the tree house. How do I make an entrance? From ground to front door up top I mean??
You should do a shot of your interior at the end so ppl can see how you set your stuff up.
I'm afraid that I never actually filled that in with stuff, it was made purely for the video. But if people want to see a village that me and the missus made (using mods) I'd be more than happy to throw up a video about it :D

My god, dude, I have set and reset )*&#$%$^&IH* foundations so many times, but this one video got me set up perfectly the first time. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Now.. tell me I'm not insane for wanting to tear down my 'home' platform and redo it properly. This actually hassle free platform will become the menagerie.

Then I even subscribed hoping it would motivate for one since I haven't even got a reply on my comment 2 weeks ago. have you placed ur walls on fence foundation untop of your stone foundation?
or did u place the walls directly on the initial stone foundation?
ive just tried and all was good but at the tree it wont let me place my missing foundation

I have not been able to find a video telling how to make videos like you did here or any tutorial and put them on youtube or facebook. I know you can do the video clip but don't know how to add sound to the clip and upload it to youtube or facebook. Can anyone direct me in the right place to learn this? And this is a great video, I am going to give it a try on my tree platforms.

my triangular roof wont go upwards the way yours is it just goes flat across
Hiya, I'm not sure what's going on there. The ceilings should be the only things that snap level, the roof segements should either snap up or down.
You don't have a mod on with different pieces by any chance?

How do you do stairs?
What's the point of the fence at the beginning?
The fence at the beginning is used to line up the final fence at the correct distance from the edge.
So the little V brings it in just enough that when you build the first triangle bit on that long line of fence you'd be able to put foundations on the outside of it that overhang slightly off of the edge of the platform.
also how did u get the pillars down on the "cornors" of the walls??
Little late but fence foundations
OK I am getting frustrated now. And I'm on my second tree house! Because the first turned out like crap. Because I tried a few shortcuts. Turns out, bad idea lol.
This time I followed ur video to a Tee, literally stopping it everything 3-5 seconds to makes sure I did it right.
Well Ive got a problem. I'm assuming wut allows the sloped wood roof to connect to the triangle sloped roof is the direction of the lines/wood panels are going. Since u fixed em, and I noticed after u fixed em they were lined up in same direction on the other lines/wood panels from the sloped wood roof.
Well I'm asking because I can't get them to connect to each other to save my life. The triangle one only snaps on in one direction, well it will point in any directions but I can't rotate it to use the side I want to the edge of the house I was so that the lines will line up together. I mean thats the only explanation I can think of.
I dnt kno why it won't lemme rotate em wen in almost any other builds I can rotate everything. It's been more than 2 weeks I been tryna build this thing & it's driving me crazy!! 🤪 lol.
