I like to PvP, and PvE. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I'm not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it's great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, maybe even fast flyers and primitive plus, usually covering all maps from Island to Genesis Part 2. And one day. ARK 2!

You should do a top 10 creatures that should be overhauled in Ark 2 it would be really interesting to see the community's feedback to that list
YES YES YES YES (they should rework the dilo to be raptor sized and replace it with Guanlong or Dilong)
i know the carno has already gotten a tlc but i would love to see it have more use other than its bleed ability that just gets replaced with thyla bleed ~10 levels later. but im probably just biased because i have good memories of the carnos from watching ark in its early days (iballisticsquid being my favorite.)
The Onyx would have to be number 1, most pointless tame ever and so neglected it doesn't even have a landing animation so just hovers all day every day lol.

The worst thing is when you're only looking for one species, no matter what it is, and it feels like it's immediately deleted from the map and you can't find it 😅
I swear. I feel like if I carried the specific kibble I needed the game knew what I was looking for and would never spawn one, but I'd stumble onto one almost immediately after putting that kib away. lol...
Then if you find it, it's always the wrong gender 🙃🙃
I’m surprised the dodorex itself wasn’t in the list since it’s tameable variant is only from the turkey trials where you have to get 200 wishbones and you only get it for an hour

I would really like to see a top 10 of the best,worst or most interesting taming methods (Not including knockout taming) for example the Dinopithecus, Amarg, Desmodus, Rhyniognatha, etc.
There are two creture variants that are unobtainable, the R-Direbear and the Tek Giga.
While perfectly functional, they just don't spawn anywhere unless you screw around in the configs.
(Aberrant Megalania used to be one as well, until Fjordur added a spawn in the Hidden Grotto cave)
I really like the r dire bear. Why wouldn't they add it properly?

Unless you have a mod (like KBD) the Tek Giga is buggy, and will sometimes disappear from inventories (Soul/Cryo) on server restarts.
So where can I tame a Polar Bear or a Yeti?

@Raasclark I was in a tribe on an official cluster and we had a slick way to tame noglins. You need 7-11 void wyverns and put them all in bear traps in a semicircle. Then trap and knock out the noglin. Knocking out the noglin drains it’s hunger bar to near zero. When the noglin wakes up. Open the 1x1 box the noglin is in. The noglin should go straight for the first wyvern then down the line till it’s tamed. We have had so many noglins we were trading them with other tribes
As someone who lived on valguero I can tell you, the unicorn is very easy to find
And as I know you can find 2 at the same time on valguero

I've actually had more than one Titanosaur spawn on several of my maps. I noticed they spawn very frequently on the center in the redwoods and on the island I find them towards the east closer to green obelisk. It's funny seeing them spawn in too. Just some huge thing falling from the sky 😂😂😂.
Same for Crystal Isles, there were two right next to each other by red ob
The spawn cap is technically 3 (on multiplayer servers) even though I've seen 4 up a few times on private servers. Crystal isles seems to have an increased respawn rate on them as well, they where always an amazing source of XP for Giga's/otherbigdinos back when I played on it and respawned very quickly after killing one.
Sometimes they spawn in twos

Good idea armangamer, the tek ATV and the tek binoculars that you can get and are awesome compared to spyglass but are so rare it seems impossible.

i swear to God, it seems to me that the unicorn ONLY spawns right in front of gigas or carchars and ONLY at the worst possible time.
I've seen a unicorn on herbivore island. First time seeing an equus there, too.

I've only ever seen one legit Liopleurodon. I saw the sparkles and was highly confused until i looked up what it was. When i came back with honey, it swam away and disappeared.😭 I have mods thats make them normal tames, so its been a while since I've found another vanilla one.

Spawn cooldown is the one thing we don't know about official servers, as it's in the server config file that we don't have access too, we have to guess respawn timer for giganatosaurus, titanosaur and rhyniognatha
I still think Phoenix is rarer the Finere. You know where to get the frost hound. I didn't even know there even WAS a Phoenix ustil I stumbled onto the dossier notes and even then I've never seen one

Noglins, you have them outside the rockwell cave. , also if you say about Zomby wyv, you also have Dodo..

While my Lost Island Singlplayer Playtrough I found a Unicorn without looking for one, but the best part is, after a few days I found another Unicorn so I then had two Unicorns, that was pretty cool

You know? I didn't think about the Zombie wyverns! I got the mine last years (HIGH levels, I was pretty lucky, and we can breed them wit mutators) but I totally forgot we're not having the halloween event anymore on the regular ark! (at least not officially)
I remember getting an absolute beast of a zombie wyvern during the final fear evolved
accidentally levelled it up too far and couldn't use it anymore
and then my save file got corrupted and i lost the wyverns
didn't even know a Fenrir was a thing in Ark lol
I'm so frustrated with the Rhyniognatha, I saw one on day 1 on island, not seen one since. :(
Yesterday was my first ever visit to Carnivore Island. There was a Gold loot pylon, and next to it a Unicorn 🦄

It took me 2 years to find and tame a unicorn on Rag, (which is the best place to do so for one reason, the spawn area is easy to scour from above). I built on the exact spawn point of one. I did loads of research, even started a q and a thing on the Ark communities queue, and only found out that BUILDING near the spawn point of anything messes with its spawn rate. I had to dismantle an enormous base and was pretty bummed about it, but I got one, learned you have to transfer onto a console or another ark all together, and another one will spawn. I've been farming them ever since. I abandoned a mutation project but I should start that up again.
I've tamed 3 back to back on val official. No transfer needed. Console.
@@heftyhadrosaur8740 Val's an excellent spot too, I got a few there myself. I'll definitely try the console thing, all my Uni's are on center right now and transferring them was a pain.
Valguero is also as nice when it comes to Unicorns. Had 3in one world once since more spawn after you tame/kill the previous.
You should do a video of which dino's are tamed the most in ark
I understand you probably didn't want to include alphas on the list but man, that alpha basilisk should of definitely got a mention.
Portal room there's usually 4 at any given time just kill them til you get a alpha personally I think the alpha reapers a bit more rare
I’m playing on extinction rn and through maybe 12 hours in game time not one alpha has been seen I’ve also had horrible levels so maybe I’m just unlucky
@@vkaap6480 on extinction theres only two types of alphas the trike exclusive to red osds as far as I know and the tek rex alpha variant which is seen very common in purple osds wave 8 or above and one infinitely spawns at the very back side of the map near the snow biome bubble as for the low levels extinction has some of the worst level spawns in all the story maps
Suggestion:Top 10 rarest tekgrams since only some bosses give you those tekgrams

Great video! My #1. is Desmodus at 100% taming effectiveness. Ark, Arks me every attempt!
You can't even find one with already 100% taming effectiveness, you'll have to use your tames, and allow the Desmodus pick up that said tamed creature in order to increase taming effectiveness, kinda like Bloodstalker though
@@TheXAllosaurus yeah I mean everytime I get it to like 90% it flies away into the ceiling or refuses to grab me, or tame or literally just despawns, etc... regular Ark stuff
@@p3wp3wCthulhu Trap it. Use a standard stone gateway trap (a few gateway's lined up with spaces between then, with doors at the ends), then "feed" it Daeodon's. It's the largest pet they will pick up, and Daeodon's have a crapload of HP. Get it to 100% effectiveness, then substitute yourself for the piggy, and rinse/repeat. Very easy.
yeah I'm not sure if you read what I wrote but they have a tendency to go into fleeing animation at about 90 -95% lately and wont pick the tame up. Doesn't matter what tame it is. I have successfully tamed them, but not lately. When last did you tame one? @@Deamia
@@p3wp3wCthulhuAbout two weeks ago. I go near the "dwarf" cave entrance near the volcano, lure a high lvl desmo into a cage, and dump a high hp piggy into the cage. Once it's @ 100%, i get the piggy out, put myself in with bloodpacks and get as much of the taming % as I can. Then back to piggy, and rinse/repeat until it's fully tamed. It's worked like this ever since Fjordur came out. If it's bugging out, de-render it. Go out of render distance then return and most AI issues are solved. I've never had issues with it fleeing in a cage and to my knowledge no one else has on my server either.

I think the gacha with a element dust roll could of been brought up in mentions even tho they can be bred till you get one dang is it rare i had a breeding group of over 100 gachas for weaks trying to get one.
the rarest r the zomby wyverns lvl 370 they can only be found at lvl 1 during the event but 4-5 yrs ago they were extremly high lvls i had them on official as a clone from someone who tamed one during the event 5yrs ago and one of the ones i had was a blue one and i would say a event colored high lvl zomby wyvern is the rarest creature to get in the game

For fenrir, it's the player who delivers the final blow, that is awarded with the fenrir
The other day I was playing on the island and literally watched a titanasuar spawn and then another one on top of it, I just kind of sat there for a minute with my mouth open😂

@rasclarck I think you a bit wrong about never being able to get zombie wyverns because switch still gets events so I believe we will be able to but only on switch.

Really wisehed they reworked some of the dinos for ASA and Ark 2 such as lioperodon i don't mind the effect gets nerfed as long as i can keep it and i can use it multiple times with fulfiling ceritain condition

When Phoenix was not top, I agree with you when you said I thought it should have been the rarest, but the ones above it make a lot of sense so I think I’m with you, Phoenix is no longer what I consider the rarest tame.

They arnt tameable but one of the rarest things out there is the alpha blood crystal wyvern
I encountered three noglins in Rockwell's Garden but not the Innards. I was killing spiders and snakes so I could tame r-dilos when one attached to my giga and made it kill me. Two more would not buzz off and let me tame stuff
Big asterisk on the "can be cloned" for the rhynio. Cannot be cloned if over level 82, because Wildcard are jerks

I feel like tropeognathus is hard enough to be on the list. Definitely at least the honorable mention. I tried to tame a 130 by myself, on vanilla pve server, and it killed me twice, and I almost lost some tames of a tribe that had accepted me in. I gave up on it as a pipe dream to actually need a tribe or just be better at the game.

maybe you might have mentioned the glitched rex since a dino you can tame at over max lvl is a god tear choice and its extremely rare to find and only on 1 map

Dude a couple weeks ago me and my bestfriend were playing ragnerock I found the unicorn right off spawn with a cartcha a little ways behind it Than a giga to the left of the cartcha.
