Fun fact that I learned well playing this game when the demo first came out, you get more resources if you scare the person to insanity then kill them~ but only works if there’s multiple people and it’s risky because you essentially have to keep one person alive as you do that to everyone else.
Hey Pravus, I just wanted to say that I was quite sad as I was looking forward to the deskmats (one of each design) I ordered 1 month ago. However, today they said that my order was canceled due to their delivery partner can't reach to my country (in the website, it said "We ship worldwide") :').
Tip for future playthroughs, you can kill investigators after they went insane. It's a little extra work but yields you the extra souls from killing them.
Played the demo, and this game is deceptively engaging for how simple it is, making me wonder and hope for more layers to be seen in the full game, most notably if there will be intruder types beyond the basic investigator and stone mason, as well as if there'll be special room types that require room sizes greater than 4 (since there's no reason to make a room bigger than 4 and I feel is a strategic detriment to do so), or maybe multiple stories (though for the sake of pathfinding to the heart, I sort of doubt the last one, but maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised).
I hope the dev makes different hearts like are plant heart that pulls dead bodys and insane people too the heart, ghost heart that teleports too different rooms, warlock heart double health but every card cost health and more different rooms
I am glad you mentioned Betrayal at House on the Hill because I had literally just thought that and was wondering if someone had made on online version of that.
This reminds me of that one Flash game where you are a ghost in a haunted house trying to scare a group of people away by haunting them thro object possession and poltergeists
Been trying this game, I think it is fun, but if you manage to make a long corridor to the heart room, it does get easy, difficulty is making it in the first place. Personally I hope they add bonuses for things like killing all investigators.
Generally speaking, once you have enough rooms, the only real threats become the stone masons even if you never move or remove any rooms, as the normal people will often take so long wandering around that you can focus on the stone mason/s exclusively without worrying about anybody else stumbling upon the heart for a while unless the pathfinding gets really lucky. As for bonuses, if you drive someone insane and then kill them, you get the essence for both I believe. As well there's a mechanic Pravus didn't get in this run called "Harvest" which also grants extra essence if you take out an investigator with those cards.
The GLORIOUS Pravus deskmat has been extended to January 17th! Check this link before it's gone forever! epicdesk.shop/collections/pravus

As a gamer i got to say. This game have potential to be some things special.
Tried playing the demo, lord pravus you made this look easy
I played this demo a bunch of times and was hoping to see you play it! I'm excited to see the full release. :)
just imagine ESSSENCE Gained is spoken to you by a snake :)
Your run was almost identical to the one I’ve seen Jingles do on his channel. Very interesting concept for a game. 😊

This concept is very similar to the card/board game Boss Monster. Fantastic game that uses retro art styles. Highly recommend and great with friends.
This reminds me kinda of an old ghost game where you place ghosts all around different areas to scare and or end them
I don't usually like deck builders, but I played the heck out of this demo!
RAKE!
I am glad you mentioned Betrayal at House on the Hill because I had literally just thought that and was wondering if someone had made on online version of that.
Someone getting flashbacks of Ghost Master too? This old jewel 🤩
Someone needs the remaster ghost master, it was a fun game
That's what this was reminding me of!
@@legoninja0025 it has been, going off a quick google I did on the name at least.
I had flashbacks of Monster House the movie from 2006

This is an excellent game with great potential!
this is a funny concept, it is like dungeon keeper but as turnbased cardbattler
Finally, a game to add to my list! I've been looking for something casual for ages, and Slay the Spore just didn't quite hit the mark for me...
