Indeed, Cebu is a great place to bike and drive with its extensive network of paved or asphalted road crisscrossing the island from coast to coast. I think Cebu is the only island in the Philippines where you can virtually drive from all sides, east, west, north and south crisscrossing those mountains.

Great video. Was your video edited or was it un-interrupted (filmed nonstop-start to finish?)

It sure can. Late in the video, you can see us approaching some wet spots with caution. I do have to say that they are doing a great job with the roads up there though. Thanks for watching.

Next time, try driving Cebu from north to south (or vice versa) using the mountain roads or following the Cebu Highland Trail which is the longest established trail in the Philippines patterned after the Appalachian Trail in the USA. Aside from the usual hiking trails, Cebu Highland Trail also includes one-lane mountain roads and even portions of the TCH (in Cebu City area), that stretches from the southernmost point of Cebu main island (in Santander) to the northernmost point in Daan Bantayan.

That would be so much fun. I really hope I get a chance to do it. Thanks for watching.

@@AmericanForeigner Yes, I suggest you try it soon. You may bring a spare liter (or two) of gas (in a tightly sealed container) in case you run out while cruising in the middle of nowhere. But in Cebu, there are tiny mountain villages where there are roads, and therefore, must have 'gas in bottle' for sale along these roads. Automated tubig machine or automated water dispensers are ubiquitous even in the mountain village so just make sure you bring a water bottle for refill anytime. These machines have coin slots (for P1 coin) where it dispenses a glass (250 ml) of cold water, sometimes more, depending on the location. Enjoy your exploration on Cebu.

Started at Tumalog Falls Rd; eventually went North past Divine Mercy Chapel; ended a little further North-East back down the mountain. Thanks for watching.
