Which studio angle is your favourite!? 1, 2 or 3!!!?!?
Came over from the Live Stream. All three look great, but the first one has a more “welcoming feel” and the leading lines are amazing!
@@will-beck Thanks bro! And welcome, hopefully your subscribed too 😅
@@TeppoHaapoja oh absolutely! Long time sub of you and Matti! 🙌
Love the first angle! The depth, leading lines, and how bright it is really makes the space look great!
Oh, I like the third angle mostly because I really like the look of that wall behind you
Came from the live stream, great video!
Thanks Jon! Let me know what was your favourite angle
@@TeppoHaapoja I love the side shot, it is so clean. My favorite thing is that the lighting is simple, I use the same two light setup for my videos and its just so simple and so good!
Great stuff! Just one small point - you keep referring to your lights in the video as 300D's .... when in fact they are the bi-color 300X as shown.......for anyone that might get confused, as you talk about changing the color temp.
Teppo thank you for simplifying everything
Your welcome 💪
Great stuff Teppo! I’m also a fan of the high key lighting. Plus, with white walls you can always add some colour to change it up. I’d say my favourite was the second one. It has colour variety, but still minimalist, and I like that you are closer to the camera. That’s something I also want to do but then always frame myself with a table, lol. But I do really enjoy that second angle and lighting. Cheers from Montreal! 🇨🇦
Thanks bro, great to have the Canadians here!
About to get this channel going, so this is much appreciated when building out the studio. As always, great work Teppo :) Angle 1 is awesome, but it's great to switch them up!
Thats awesome man! Congrats on starting, thats the hardest step to overcome in the beginning
Great video Teppo, your office looks clean!
Thanks bro!
Great stuff! Thanks for the info and light demonstrations.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Honestly, didnt realize how much thought went into 1. I really love the leading lines. Awesome video!
Thanks man!
Nice and simple but looks great!
Thanks!
Thank you for the knowledge, I am still trying to master lighting so this video was extremely helpful 👍🏾
Awesome!
Thank you for the video, very informative! May I ask, what light stands are you using for the Aputure 300D/x and light dome 2? I see some have varying weight capacities, but wasn't sure how much 'leeway' to leave in terms of threshold.
Great video as rarely do TH-camrs give as much detail as to what settings they use when making videos.
One thing though... if you can change the white balance on that light, doesn't that make it an Aputure 300X (not D)? I don't want people running out to buy a light that they'll be disappointed with.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Great stuff man. I love the lantern from Aputure, I use it with the Amazon 200 to light a podcast.
Nice man!
Enjoyed this one mate. As you can see from my channel I’m scared of indoor talking head videos due to the lighting. I’m going to follow these tips and make the plunge! Gets me in out of the Atlantic storms!! 😂 ☘️
Haha awesome!
🔥Such a great video! I learned a ton from it, thank you!!
Your welcome bro!
Like them all but really like what you did with the 2nd angle :) Great tips man.
Thanks Ryan!
love it, very great video!!! Learned a lot! Thank you
Your welcome Jan!
Thanks for sharing great video. Are you using a teleprompter as well ?
Honestly i like the angle, from which you startet this video, the most. Maybe because i like darker textures in the background and the wide angle horizontal view of that shot. 🫣🤷♀️
Nice!
I honestly think it looks more captivating with the atmospheric light off. Makes you pop more. I think all the scenes a pretty good except seeing the top of the white wall on #3. Kinda a harsh break between the cool slats on the wall to the plain white wall.
Good point, ill have to see if it looks better without
Amazing ❤
Thanks Lukas!
Yeah, that light set up looks really nice. That’s one thing I need to figure out mostly for my review channel you know with Marty Kauffman.
Nice Marty, you'll figure it out!
Great tips man. The atmosphere light really makes a difference, though just as preference id rather not see the light on the stand like that. I'd probably go with some type of lamp on the table or a hanging pendant light. Downside is you wouldn't really be able to most those lights for your other two angles.
Oh I dont mind the stand showing :)
Love this practical walkthrough with proper examples of before/after showing how «simple» and effective it can be done - Since you are running the 300d’s at approx 30% (except when the lantern is on the floor) do you think the 120d’s (100watt lights) might achieve similar results if the distance to the lights are the same?
Yeah Im sure for the key light it should be fine! But for the atmosphere light I often have to use higher powers
@@TeppoHaapoja I can imagine having to krakk the power on the lantern to basically light up the whole room like you do, looks really good, as in 1300 euro’s good ;)
nice video !
Thanks!
What tripod are you using?
ist your front light warmer than 5600k?
nice😊😊
what focal length do you use to record youtube video inside the room? thanks for answering
16-35mm lens, most likely 16-24mm
@@TeppoHaapoja @16mm or @24 or @35mm mostly? I sometimes struggle to choose what focal length that still can be good to view
One Suggestion, your Audio is way too loud!
Yo
YO! What was your favourite angle?
