@@ivanstiles7030 Yes now that I read that I remember I had a one sided version of that tool when all we hac was GM cars with crank windows. I have not neede one of those since I restored the Nova.
The tool at 4:39 is an Inside Door Handle Window Vent Crank Retaining Clip Removal Tool. It removes the clip that retains the manual window crank on some old GM cars. Also, that Indestro set is really nice.
@@MarzNet256 Thank You. The last time I needed one of those was when I restored my 1971 Nova 30ish years ago. If you have not seen it, check out the video "reserecting the car of my youth". Thanks for watching!
Nice bunch of tools you acquired. I have no idea about the embellishment on the front of the saw, but the saw itself is in good condition, and the ornate wooden handle is very cool. Needs some rust removal. Slide hammer looks brand new. New Britain tools are good quality. The odd looking flat tool in the first box I think is a universal tool designed to remove interior car door panels and trim.
Somebody already wrote it but that one item is a tool for removing a door handle or window crank.......The Saw may be somewhat rare, they made a saw with no set and I believe they are actually ground at a taper, meaning the back of the saw is thinner to clear the kerf, also the angle the teeth are filed at might be a little different too................The Bottle Caper brings back memories. My Grand;parents always had one sitting on top of the fridge. One day my Grandfather went up to get pizza, there's was only one bottle of Coke left so me and my cousin split it and refilled the bottle with water and food coloring and recapped it so my Grampa gets back with the pizza goes to grab a Coke and gets greeted with colored water.😂🤣
Great score there and I love the oil can. I’m surprised you’re not familiar with Flexovite, they’re high quality wheels and a good brand here in Australia. Cheers my friend, Stuart 🇦🇺
Nice finds! I like that bottle corker..I restored one as a gift for my sister a couple of years ago.
Nice haul. The mystery tool in the first box is for removing old school window crank levers in cars and trucks with non power windows.

That Indestro kit is Awesome! Great finds.
I believe the notch and such at the top front of the saw is just for decoration. Nice finds.
@@91Z50 Maybe it was a way to personalize their saw so it would not get mixed up with someone else's saw at a job site???

Someday When You'r BarbaquingYou Never Know They Might Come In Handy
The hammer looks like a weld job that was sanded and ground into shape.b
@@yadda_tools Very possible! If so they did a nice job on it!
That knife set is very cool. Great find.
( I would ask the family if it would be cool to use on occasions )
A home isn't complete without a Sheffield set, bargain for the price. Time for a BBQ maybe?
@@Bloodshed.restorations I stopped at an estate sale yesterday and they had a single piece of that set for $10!
@@timeflysintheshop in that case box it up and hand it down for future generations, after you had a BBQ of course.😁
