Celestial Astronomy is a very interesting subject if understood in a correct way. The teachers are responsible in a big way to make it interesting or otherwise. Even the non mariners might find this subject interesting. Capt. S.S. Chaudhari, who has been teaching the subject for last 30 years, works on this series of videos to share his knowledge and motivate the young marines. Capt. Chaudhari in this video talks about a star being seen from North Pole. But, this merely is to indirectly state the declination of the star. The stress is on knowing a very important formula, rather forgotten today i.e. MZD = L ~ D.
