Dutch Wonderland Review (Lancaster, PA)

- Back in June of 2019, I took my family to this small amusement park called Dutch Wonderland. Part of the Palace Entertainment chain, this quaint little park has something to offer for the whole family. Though, Dutch Wonderland doesn't offer mega attractions that would compete against Hersheypark, but it makes it up with lots of charm.

I went here when I was six they had a “fortuneteller”. Little did I know my parents were sitting right behind me whispering to the fortuneteller what to say😂
It looks pretty cool and that's what I was just thinking also taking my grandkids here I know they would love it,thanks for the info.
I went to Dutch Wonderland with my family in the mid 1970s. Happy to see it's still going strong.
Took my 4 (5 in September) year old son there today, the park seems smaller then I remember. Yet again, it is meant for kids. He was looking forward to roller coasters and they had 2 or 3? I can't even remember already. My brain is melted from the sun.he enjoyed his first trip to the amusement park, though and that's enough for me.
this s&s suapended coaster is a pretty good competitor for the vekoma ones and i want to see them building nore of those around europe and america
I used to come here in the 80s and 90s and I remember when the Sky Princess (now the Kingdom Coaster) was brand new. I sound like an old lady but this video brought back so many memories!

I used to go here all the time when I was a kid, it's really changed since I went. It wasn't fairy tale themed like it is now. It had a variety of rides, but no roller coasters that I can remember. I used to love going here until my first experience at Hersheypark.
I’ve been to this park about a 1/2 dozen times since the 1970’s. It has changed a lot over the years. I am actually going tomorrow with a few grandkids, young and teens. Hope to have a good time!!

The huge problem with Free Mission Park is that they always make you pay for rides individually. Another park in Ocean City New Jersey called castaway Cove is also free admission, but you have to buy tickets to use on the rides. 50 tickets cost $38 that was on sale I think. How ever, these tickets do not expire.
the last time i went to dutch wonderland was in 2012. so much has change

I think is a great park for families.
I’ve never been there. I’ve driven it past a bunch of times on my way to my sisters. And she brings her kids there all the time. Maybe I’ll have to go with them to get those credits 😂

you know,in europe there are similars,if not better parks like dutch wonderland,which im sure your daughter will enjoy.a good example for this is schwaben park,a little amusment park at germant which is quit quarky and full of fun.the trees here are good and there are alot of quarky and enjoyable attractiones which some you will bever see in america and 3 coasters:caterpillar express,a zeirer kiddy force coaster which is perfect for kids,force one,a model by zeirer known as an Esc(elaveted seating coaster)which was alot better than expected.and wilde hilde,which is basically green lantren for kids but much better and more enjoyable.the staff here was quit fats when i came and were so friendly to me,the food,while not plenty was still good and the park is maybe small,but packs quit alot for kids.this park is one example of the many parks you can take your daughter in europe and jus have fun,and dont worry,one day you will go to europe.and if you do,im sure that there are plenty of european entusiates that will be sure to help.

Not to be mean, but I think merlyns mayham is overrated because it's so short and the ride ops take a long time to load and dispatch, over all it's a good park and I love this video it brings back 2016 memories of riding merlyns mayham when it was new. Great video once again
The operations are really slow, but I don't have a problem with the length of the ride
@@XscreamThrills I normally would not have a problem with the length either, but for some reason the dispatches are slower so riding it 10 times in a row spends more time waiting than riding, even with no line

That park is for younger kids. And it’s owned by Hershey Entertainment:/.
Its actually owned by Palace Entertainment
Got ejected from park by PD for wearing a face shield because I'm unable to wear a face mask for medical reasons. Would not recommend as a customer who was discriminated against.
