One of the best missions in the game. The absolute mad rush to the first catapult gets p tense considering all of enemies in the way to slow you down and drain stamina
This mission's theme hit hard, and stayed hard throughout. Not much further than this point in the game yet, but this has thus far stuck with me the longest; it's a very epic theme, that keeps the tension high, and keeps the player amped up, and fully aware of the possible costs of failure. This is a theme i would have totally expected in a Fire Emblem game.
Vanillaware: Okay, Mitsuhiro. Nothing too crazy for the Drakenhold bit. Have you taken your medication today? MITSUHIRO, THROBBING WITH UNEARTHLY ELDRITCH POWER: Of course
@@AshenDust_Funny you mention ER, Cause Drakenhold's composer Yoshimi Kudo did Lichdragon Fortissax and Rykard's themes in Elden Ring. Also did two of the minibosses, Liurnia and all the Mount Gelmir/Volcano Manor music.
8:53 Why did Gilbert have a little critique for Alain? That aside, this is the BEST song I've encountered in the game so far. Stunning, driving violins.
*Spoiler warning* You can start the battle in two different ways. The story urges you to meet Gilbert in a fort to the north before the battle. If instead you enter the battlefield from the south gate without talking to Gilbert first you'll get this dialogue. If you do it this way he will also not join your army after the battle. I think the dialogue is probably meant to give you a little warning.
@@SpoonyBird I couldn't figure out where to go to start the battle properly. I actually looked around and finally figured there was probably only one way. Gilbert didn't seem too interesting to me though, so I'm not really mad
@@KunjaBihariKrishnaSame thing happened to me haha, wish they’d given you more of an "are you sure" before you start the battle the "wrong" way. At least like you said he doesn’t seem like missing out on much
Vanillaware hadn't simultaneously launched a game on more than one company's systems until 2022, imo PC is probably just a matter of time, albeit maybe not until like 2030.
My favorite theme so far, and one of the best missions too.
Holy crap this theme is intense, i cannot wait to see what the other zones entail
This song and mission was so hype.

This is a Kudo Yoshimi track, composed and arranged.
@@njrgtilger5866 Goddamn Japan outsourcing work to Japan
Music so fire it overheated my switch (real)
Same
My game crashed in this mission halfway into it lol good thing it auto saves
I wanted an Ogre Battle 64 remake but this game has more than scratched that itch and surpassed it in every single way.
Same here
Truer words have never been spoken .😢
What other games does it play like
Part of enjoying a game is great battle soundtrack
It's like the Unicorn Overlord version of Deoxyribose from 13 sentinels. Both are fire themes
Yoshimi Kudo never misses, he just pumps out banger after banger. He also did the Lichdragon Fortissax and Rykard themes in Elden Ring.
When you get some Ace Combat with your Ogre Battle 😍
Wait until Albion and you get some Elden Ring

YES!
Why do violins always hit so hard
They truly are... Violint.
The true crime of this mission is not being able to recruit Hermann (his voice makes me moist), I swear there's no story hoplites in the game
You can recruit Hermann but only in the post game.
@@toledochristianmatthew9919 yeah I finished the game in the meantime!
That's what the generics are for
I want a live version of this album so bad...
Theme of the 1st Waifu Corps
Best theme so far. Gives off a fire emblem vibe
Only mission where I abandoned the Fast forward button, all in favor of enjoying this music
Better music than the final stage.
Play this everyday after played Unicorn Overlord ;)
This was such an awesome song for this stage!
Besides the music 9:25 someone forgot to set unwavering's tactics
What a banger

This battle can vastly be easy or hard depend how prepared you made your characters and if went elf first or not too.

Can you upload the song for Elheim's final story mission?

、😅!
PC ?
This is not pc. Exclusive to Switch.
On every console except pc as far as i know
It’s Vanillaware. The answer will never be yes

Unicorn Overlord is also available for PS4, PS5, XBox X and XBox S. I have Unicorn Overlord for PS5 and all Trophies.
Dude, this shit ROCKS
