Wow this reminds me of the old Volvo BM Series loaders with the small steering wheels at the back way back in the 1970's on the Copper Mines. I was still a young kid of just 7 or 8 and was always so much interested how it steers with the back wheels. Haven't seen any of those Volvo Loaders with small rear steering wheels here on TH-cam.
I have a series 2 I think I just got a series 1 bought today has a little steering issue but I think it can be fixed. Good old loaders. I worked the series 2 hard over the years never let's me down.

My 280 is not running, the Cummins engine is bad. I do have some pictures. There were no 280's built in 1956, mine was the only one built in 1957, in 1958 they built about 100 of them. What year was yours built?
Is this a production machine, or a vintage equipment show? I ask because it would be really cool to know this old Clark Michigan was restored and working. It's cool either way, it looks just as capable as a modern articulated wheel loader.
Have a problem starting aClark 75c with a cummings diesal Does not seem to be getting fuel. replaced fuel filter but will not fire up. What's the next step?
Ya likely a 453 or maybe a 471 4 cylinder, 2 stroke Detroit, great motors that punched way above their weight in tough ness ,torque, and general reliability

I don't know the year of my 280. I guess it could probably be determined by the serial number.
I have one of these for spares or repair in quite good condition but nor run for years. Located Scotland.

Make SURE there is no air in the fuel system.
