Would like to get youre opinion and I kinda need it fast this is the best way possible, So I just had misfortune or not, so bought the Hisense 55E7HQTUK 4K Ultra HD 55" LED, Smart TV, Wi-Fi - Black for 320 on ebay got a massive deal but the tv broke in transit I can get my money back as spend the extra £100 to get the Hisense 55U8GQTUK 55 Inch ULED 4K Ultra HD Smart Television, I have a ps5 and would be wanting to watch movies on it, is it worth getting a refund for the broken in transit tv and then get the new one or replace the old one and have it for 320, would really want a second opinion that knows about tvs and is the 55u8 better then or equal to oleds, I know stuff about oled and seen in stores the difference but is the burning in problem or the extra price woth the hassle and it breaking and not lasting long term, is the 55u8 the best option, need to be either asking for a refund or replacement in the next day or two

The slight darkening to the corners of the screen is perfectly normal and you find it on all models, a replacement won't change anything. Panel lottery is to do with dirty screen effect where the screen can't show colours uniformly with some splotchy dirt, not just limited to 4 corners of the screen.
It's a great tv, especially when watching dolby vision with dolby atmos. Here are my settings for UK version both for gaming and netflix etc - Picture mode HDR dynamic Game mode - auto Free sync on Backlight- high Brightness 37 Contrast 80 Colour saturation 60 Sharpness 20 Adaptive contrast medium Ultra smooth motion standard. Sound is always dolby atmos. When I watch sport I manually change the picture to sports and same for sound.
I have been considering this TV over the past few days myself can you tell me if the picture is clear when panning whilst watching football or if there are any irregularities please ? (pixel lag, dirty screen)
What picture settings did you use on this tv for hdr gaming. Brightness contrast ??? I noticed you can't use local dimming and free sync while in game mode.
I felt so relieved when you said you weren't gonna get super technical. I understand all that crap but it bores me to tears. I always lose focus and it becomes background noise. I leave with less knowledge when there's more info. Lol.
Looks like a great TV. Getting DV and HDR10+ at that price point is awesome. How is the smart OS etc. to navigate and use? Does it support AirPlay and Homekit?
I was trying to decide what tv to replace my 55" lg tv with as the new apple tv and that tv does not work well together with Plex, skippy frames, and audio sync issues to mention a few and it has driven me insane I've tried every setting to beat and still it's unusable. Have you tried plex/apple tv 4k 2023 model with this tv? have you noticed any audio sync issues if you have? thanks as well for the laid-back easy-to-digest review of this tv.

@@nezuko.-.69 This quite simply is the best TV I've ever owned and purchased - having come from a budget Panasonic 4K LED TV. Make no mistake, Hisense is a brand to be trusted. Dolby Vision looks superb and unlike my previous TV, the black levels are fantastic, rather than a dark grey haze of what I've been used to! I will no doubt be buying HiSense again in the future when I come to replacing this screen which I don't imagine will be for many years yet. Very satisfied with my purchase. I'm not a videophile and others will most likely find something wrong with this set, say it's not as good as Samsung etc, but honestly I could care less about those comments. Just buy this TV - you won't regret it! :)

i seen a 55E7HQTUK 55 Hisense from costco for suspicious low price of £347 and wonder is it cause they trying to sell old stock off (as it was being promoted for world cup) or its generally that crap no one wants them.... Any idea what the difference between a E7 and U7 is?
E7 is the budget line, and U7 is the premium line (although U8 is the best, not factoring the OLED lineup) . E7 is dim compared to the U7, half the nits, 300 vs 600.
I have a 55uh650v by of that’s 6 years old now , about the age of your Samsung and j feel that watching football the ball flickers a little . Do you think this tv would be a step up from something that age

@@MarkEllisReviews strange way to do it whenever I built units like that I would create channel in the wall so you can easily run cables pulling them in and out (only ones which wouldn't be like that would be faceplate for the likes of sat/aerial and network)

I have this tv and REALLY need some help. When watching terrestrial tv, bbc 1 HD and ITV HD have had awful judder throughout the World Cup. I would say this is from their broadcasting however whenever I use Netflix through the Xbox one series X, I also get terrible judder. I have messed with all the settings and nothing seems to be helping!!! The tv is amazing for gaming but my viewing experience has been very poor. Sometimes I wonder if it’s too big to handle HD quality, it just wants 4K?! Please give me the best picture settings for terrestrial tv 😢

Hi mate I've just purchased a xbox x and a Samsung 65 Inch CU7100 UHD HDR 4k Smart TV I don't think it's 120hz 60 hz I think ( delivered tomorrow) but now am thinking about cancelling the TV for this hisense 120hz one! BBC iPlayer does actually support 4K but only for a limited selection of content and as long as your 4K TV supports HLG (another HDR format). Does look good though.
The AU9000 is nothing compared specs wise, but I'm wondering if it will handle HD content better and have better quality control. What did you get in the end? I'm looking at series s gaming and HD streaming but with future proofing.

You can get a LGBX yes fair enough second hand but it's OLED 120hz 4k and I only payed £999 that was nearly 2 years ago. Probably get one for £600 now if you can find one Mine is still going strong

My parents picked up one of these to replace Panasonic plasma which was close to 10 years old and side by side the plasma destroys this picture quality wise. If it wasn't for the plasma uses so much power they would have stuck with that but working it out the plasma with current uk electric prices they would be paying close to £450 per year.

I'm sick of these company's not supporting or updating it away pcm multi channel pass thru seem only sony is doing 8t now switch pc laptops macs apple TV etc all use pcm multi channel,sound and tvz are not suporting it's pass thru, all ears tvs should allow passtheunthzts what it's for...
These TV's are truly dogsh*t Hisense USB ports dont support anything with a memory capacity greater than 32 gigabytes, now considering the average UHD movie file is around 50g pretty much renders them absolutely useless for certain functions for comparison an LG TV has no problem reading 8 terabyte hard drives.

Just about a week late for me, I got a new LG TV about a week ago. Looking forward to seeing England and hopefully the US do well.

@@chrisb6537definite irregularity’s. It’s almost like the tv can’t deal with images less than 4K. If it’s terrestrial HD, it seems to really struggle.

Haven't tested it fully enough, I'm afraid. I don't think HomeKit support is included...

I have this tv and every time I switch it on I have to change the format to enhanced (144hz/240hz) and turn the high refresh rate mode on. Is there a way to keep this turned on??
I have this tv and REALLY need some help. When watching terrestrial tv, bbc 1 HD and ITV HD have had awful judder throughout the World Cup. I would say this is from their broadcasting however whenever I use Netflix through the Xbox one series X, I also get terrible judder.
I have messed with all the settings and nothing seems to be helping!!! The tv is amazing for gaming but my viewing experience has been very poor. Sometimes I wonder if it’s too big to handle HD quality, it just wants 4K?!

Hi mate I've just purchased a xbox x and a Samsung 65 Inch CU7100 UHD HDR 4k Smart TV I don't think it's 120hz 60 hz I think ( delivered tomorrow) but now am thinking about cancelling the TV for this hisense 120hz one! Do you think I should or will the Samsung one I've just bought still produce beautiful 4k gaming graphics?

BBC iPlayer does actually support 4K but only for a limited selection of content and as long as your 4K TV supports HLG (another HDR format). Does look good though.

The AU9000 is nothing compared specs wise, but I'm wondering if it will handle HD content better and have better quality control. What did you get in the end? I'm looking at series s gaming and HD streaming but with future proofing.

So I just had misfortune or not, so bought the Hisense 55E7HQTUK 4K Ultra HD 55" LED, Smart TV, Wi-Fi - Black for 320 on ebay got a massive deal but the tv broke in transit I can get my money back as spend the extra £100 to get the Hisense 55U8GQTUK 55 Inch ULED 4K Ultra HD Smart Television, I have a ps5 and would be wanting to watch movies on it, is it worth getting a refund for the broken in transit tv and then get the new one or replace the old one and have it for 320, would really want a second opinion that knows about tvs and is the 55u8 better then or equal to oleds, I know stuff about oled and seen in stores the difference but is the burning in problem or the extra price woth the hassle and it breaking and not lasting long term, is the 55u8 the best option, need to be either asking for a refund or replacement in the next day or two

Men i got the TV today and the sound is literally trash
My parents picked up one of these to replace Panasonic plasma which was close to 10 years old and side by side the plasma destroys this picture quality wise.
If it wasn't for the plasma uses so much power they would have stuck with that but working it out the plasma with current uk electric prices they would be paying close to £450 per year.

These TV's are truly dogsh*t Hisense USB ports dont support anything with a memory capacity greater than 32 gigabytes, now considering the average UHD movie file is around 50g pretty much renders them absolutely useless for certain functions for comparison an LG TV has no problem reading 8 terabyte hard drives.
