In my opinion, this is a buff for Carno his headbutt mechanic is incredibly strong its currently counters Teno directly and Carno turned into a complete small game hunter Fun fact: This Carno nerf may have happened because of me because I wrote a text like "Why does Carno's headbutt feature take so much stamina? What is the difference from running with your head down?" in Balance Feedback.
Enjoying the addition of patrols for herbis, but as a steg the new nightvision is absolutely terrible. Unless its one of those clear moonlit nights that come literally once in a blue moon, you can't see yourself let alone anything else. If anything finds you during night, you're basically dead; it could be a pteranodon.
Amazing and very helpful video!!! I still don't understand why the ptero thing is called a sound trap, though. Do you know? ^^ Almost all of these are great changes--but not the map spawn point being taken away. What a horrible decision no one asked for or wanted.
Thank you!! It's called sound trap cause they do a lot of sound, if you step close to them they will start attacking you, like a swarm of bees. They can tell away your position as well
Hello, can you test if the troodon does more damage by keeping the pounce all the time or is it better to pounce and let go? I feel like I do more damage when I keep it.
troodon don't deal more venom if he keeps latched, so that means you won't go to the next stage if you keep yourself on the prey. If you mean keeping yourself latched in the FINAL stage, then I don't know, but anyways the prey can buck you easily.
Yeah, should be regen stamina while gliding AND latching. Plus ability to swallow meat/fish in the air. And ether need to make updraft mechanics, or changing zones where you can have up wind to not lose stamina while gaining altitude.
@@hilike6507 nahh imo I agree w him. Being able to regenerate Stam while flying is need since ptera were long distance flyers. Being able to eat on the fly is another good idea too , maybe even skimming to take a lil sis to keep from dehydration kinda like herbs can graze would be cool also.
Man if they were gonna make the NV this shitty aesthetically they might as well make it so if you're a dinosaur it can't be dark enough to require night-vision. It's just normal vision with beefed up gamma and a green outline on everything. I like the idea of buffing troodon but I kinda wish they did more to make it different from dilo, maybe they got more planned for later.
I think bleed dmg for galli a bit overtuned for a creature that can attack with zero to no worries (it's very fast), I feel like Galli should deal fracture dmg, it makes more sense for a creature like Galli considering that pachy is the only fracturing creature rn
teno, dibble, stego all deal bleed. Gali isn't an offense based creature. Taking away bleed yet leaving the damage is to reinforce that you arent something that runs around slitting veins and quacking like a mad man. If you see a threat, you run. If you get ambushed, you can still kick things. And if you see juvi preds that are problematic, you can still kick them to death.

A question on Patrol zones. I understand what they mean for herbies. But when i se a Patrol Zone as a carnie, what does that mean? is it like with the migration zones, and I'm seeing a random PZ from a herbie on my diet?
Do you or Anyone know if Evrima has glow skin? I am currently playing the other version. Glow skins are such a cheat. Is there a How to video of how to instal evrima
Oof ngl bucking being changed to a % based chance of throwing them off isn't a fun idea in my eyes, cos you could get REALLY unlucky and just not be able to buck them off, let alone if theres a whole pack on you...I hope they mean the % is based on the pouncers stamina and not us cos that'd be nice...
Troodon venom shouldn't have fog, it makes Dilo less unique, I wonder why they added it? Did they give up with the voice mimicking concept for troodon? imo it would be better if troodon envenomation resulted in hearing troodon chittering and movement all around you so it'd be hard to pick out when the next troodon is going to pounce, unless you're out in the open or something and can clearly see them. It'd make troodon a jungle specific threat for the most part.

Carno is insanely broken now due to charge having zero counterplay and no cost.
Dibble still body guards are 3-6 hits you and has disgusting bleed from a single hit.
Ptera is fun!
Dock isnt very populated on HT ever but you do see ptera flying around it to scope it out.
want another tip for carno? it can block 100% of a pachy damage and stun if you hold RMB. just stand and hold it.
@@KougaArt yep whoever coded it is a jackass and did NOT test it out before letting players test it.
Ngl Im tired of game "Devs" not testing their products and then expecting random players to do it for them and report bugs.
Pay me 100 bucks a bug, i'll consider it.
Can carno knockdown/ram anything heavier than it?
ii absolutely love your guides. it helps you to find your way around quickly. ♥
Very intriguing changes, teno color change is a nice addition. Seeing a variety in ceratopsians would be appreciated perhaps styracosaurus & pachyrhinosaurus added later on.
I hate not being able to choose where I spawn.
So the Trodons have the same visual effect as Dilos now... It would be amazing if the trodon venom would let you see groundfog instead that wall
Oooh makes sense cuz troodon tiny
Nah, the devs said that dilo is supposed to affect its prey's mind while troodon is going to affect its prey's body (makes the two night hunters more distinct) so imo troodon's venom should knockdown its preys if they move too much like if they run they have a high likelihood of getting knockedown
Imo you should be able to see farther with troodon venom and the hallucinations should be a thing but when they or you get close they disappear
@@CreatureGuy-j8e Alright, ive literally never played this game, and i barely know anything about it, but hear me out. So idk if this game adds new dinos often, but i think hallucinations and vision effects would perfectly fit the ancient ancestor of Komodo Dragons, Megalania. Essentially massive monitor lizards. Since troodon venom is neurotoxin, and Dilo venom is intended to blind you, i think that Megalania venom, which was theorized to basically disorient its victim and make them kinda panic and freak out, would be perfect for something like that.
@@JonathanNormandy I’m pretty sure megalania wont get venom but it would be cool if they made its bacteria or whatever mess with you’re controls and slowly make you weaker and weaker
I am very happy that the stupid carno got nerfed.
Excited for Allosauras & Trex now
The omni switching place on the dino it pounced made me laugh so hard x'D
like 'la di da di daaaa Imma just hop over here. Nah over here. Mmm over here? what about here? NOMNOMNOM' x'D
4.25 Gotta say the colors you use work specially well here, this Teno looks awesome under the sun.
Thanks for this video!!! Very informative my friend
I wanna be like a woodpecker and take a herah up the tree and get all those pteras 😂
I love the new night vision, especially for ptera. Game changer! ❤ I also love taco being back in the game.
Finally the ptera got what it should of had from the start of latching
Seen an improvement in my performance, which is nice
sadly it's worse for me
@@KougaArt for me as wel
also good to know about pounc is that you dont have to hold rmb anymore to stay on the target. you can let go after you hit your target with pounce
maybe it was obvious for everyone but me
but sadly it does a normal pounce, not a purely bleed or purely damage one!
If I may add one thing I saw and you didn't mention.... I saw a WHOLE SWARM of those little red pteros, it was CRAZY it was like a freaking tornado xD they were a round a body too and i stayed close for too long and got killed lmao
yes, they're part of the sound trap as well
13:10 wow this is interesting
So like how do I spawn with friends now?
sadly you need to find them. As I know the map very well, I keep respawning until I hit their same spawn
The patrol zones are huge, you can now just roam around the map
Man I’ve been wanting to play the isle for years. I really need to get a PC these updates are smooth
So from what I understand from this, is they are gonna rework Truculency to give Herbivores a higher chance of breaking pounce with bucking.
If they're not going to let us choose where we want to be on the map, they should at least let us see the map and see where we are on it on the tab or esc screen. That way its still relatively easy to find and meet up with friends. That's the least they can do for us.
They should add more advanced climbing to the ptera imo. Overall nice update!
Wow only took 8 years but they finally finally finished the port
Ptera buff just being "now you can afk in trees too" is so rough.
In my opinion, this is a buff for Carno his headbutt mechanic is incredibly strong its currently counters Teno directly and Carno turned into a complete small game hunter
Fun fact: This Carno nerf may have happened because of me because I wrote a text like "Why does Carno's headbutt feature take so much stamina? What is the difference from running with your head down?" in Balance Feedback.
Enjoying the addition of patrols for herbis, but as a steg the new nightvision is absolutely terrible.
Unless its one of those clear moonlit nights that come literally once in a blue moon, you can't see yourself let alone anything else. If anything finds you during night, you're basically dead; it could be a pteranodon.
Im enjoying the omni pounce, couldnt take down a boar as a juvi but i have better luck now!
Amazing and very helpful video!!! I still don't understand why the ptero thing is called a sound trap, though. Do you know? ^^
Almost all of these are great changes--but not the map spawn point being taken away. What a horrible decision no one asked for or wanted.
Thank you!! It's called sound trap cause they do a lot of sound, if you step close to them they will start attacking you, like a swarm of bees. They can tell away your position as well
@@KougaArt Oh, thank you!
ping and lag seems bad after this update had to lower my dang settings to mid i was able to run at high and epic before
Have you deleted your config folder?
@@leejamesretief3971 i did and it was fixed
Now I can wait a year gaining stamina on trees as Ptera. Nice 👍
U CANT CHOOSE WHERE U SPAWN ANYMORE???? How tf are u supposed to play with friends
GREATTTT fucking update now we just needed the new dinos!! when are we gonna get the new dinos into evrima?
Ptera buff!!! Let's gooo! 😁 i'm so happy.
I didn't even know that! thanks for telling me! 😊
I had a bug in hordetesting, which made the textures of the dinosaurs, foliage, rock and terrain disappear has anyone else encountered such a bug ?
need to delete config folder to fix it
I miss you old carno😢😢😢
6:35
It's not new, it used to be in game when evrima was just released :) They removed it when update 2 was out, if I'm not mistaken
well, now its back :D
Loved the video dude!
Amazing video, ty!
omniraptor after eating, he can never jump, atk or eat/drink
Hello, can you test if the troodon does more damage by keeping the pounce all the time or is it better to pounce and let go? I feel like I do more damage when I keep it.
troodon don't deal more venom if he keeps latched, so that means you won't go to the next stage if you keep yourself on the prey. If you mean keeping yourself latched in the FINAL stage, then I don't know, but anyways the prey can buck you easily.
definitely not the buff ptera needed…. should read “above 20% stamina, regen stamina while gliding.”
@@stevem-u4v I fr thought it was gunna be
Yeah, should be regen stamina while gliding AND latching. Plus ability to swallow meat/fish in the air. And ether need to make updraft mechanics, or changing zones where you can have up wind to not lose stamina while gaining altitude.
@@stevem-u4v devs doesnt really care about pteras at this point
Not regenerating stam while gliding is not the end of the world tho, regenerating stam while latching is more needed for sure
@@hilike6507 nahh imo I agree w him. Being able to regenerate Stam while flying is need since ptera were long distance flyers. I think they could have given us both tbh especially since ptera is a glass cannon. Being able to eat on the fly is another good idea too , maybe even skimming to take a lil sis to keep from dehydration kinda like herbs can graze would be cool also.
nice as always :D
thank you! If you ever need, there's a portuguese translated version as well.
8:30 since there smaller and lighter, has the growth time to adult carno been reduced?
doesn't seem so
Thanks❤🙏
Man if they were gonna make the NV this shitty aesthetically they might as well make it so if you're a dinosaur it can't be dark enough to require night-vision. It's just normal vision with beefed up gamma and a green outline on everything. I like the idea of buffing troodon but I kinda wish they did more to make it different from dilo, maybe they got more planned for later.
Why cant u choose ur spawn??😢😢
its weird seeing carno so small now
12:53 great cant play with my friends now
Patrol zones for carnivores, anybody found any food?
Got a deer with a boar running together once. Dunno if feature or just random 😂
Awesome update, I think I can play The Isle again 😁
Galli losing bleed is lame as hell, now there’s no bleeder herbivores (that can’t just brawl)
I think bleed dmg for galli a bit overtuned for a creature that can attack with zero to no worries (it's very fast), I feel like Galli should deal fracture dmg, it makes more sense for a creature like Galli considering that pachy is the only fracturing creature rn
Teno still does good bleeding
teno, dibble, stego all deal bleed. Gali isn't an offense based creature. Taking away bleed yet leaving the damage is to reinforce that you arent something that runs around slitting veins and quacking like a mad man. If you see a threat, you run. If you get ambushed, you can still kick things. And if you see juvi preds that are problematic, you can still kick them to death.
i personally hate that you can't chose where you spawn anymore
everyone hates it
Now the updates at evrima? Or still At HT?
it's now at evrima
@@KougaArt wow thats cool, thanks kouga😎
Port brings back memories from V3
Darn it carno got nerfed to the very deep bones....
Well lets wait for new carnis to drop otherwise dillos are still Top...
Thanks for the video ❤ Lord Blessing and Peace ❤❤❤
Nobody is talking about the fact that you won't be able to choose where to spawn 😢
Not many people left playing this game so who is there left to complain? 🤣
Already on live?? Oh no thats too soon
Oh man I tried to change pounce position with Troodon when DibbIe was at the edge of big faII and it doens't work for it. Then I feII and died
13:00 it dosent. Theyv canceled that
how so?
Are the patrol zones for the carnivores as well as the herbivores?
yes, but it's more suitable for Herbivores
honestly they should altf4 those annoying little black and red birds
Please tell me they optimised the game
not reallyyyy
@@KougaArt oh dear
The stuttering and fps drops are back on the menu even when you are alone with no players or dead bodies around.
I have somehow managed to get a single fatal crash. No matter how long I keep going I can’t seem to get another one but I still got one 🤷♂️
@@Utahraptor777 i was forced to lower my settings which i never had to do before. i always played on high or epic. hopefully this gets fixed
just came back to this game after 6 month after installing a 12 gb update (!), and i was pretty dissapointed. Not even ONE new dino from when i left. No perimeters done. Still have to wait 2 hours for stamina to regenerate. And lots of bugs. Don't like to be negative, but that's bad.
we got diablo, that's all
Galvanised steel pipes have been added 💯💯💅
I can’t play this game because of the latency issue. I’ll be chilling then outa no where a Cera snipes me from across the map
my poor beautiful diablo what have they done to you 😢
I felt drop of fps after this update
They need to implement a Life Update
Make the game more Polish and more light to play
A Good PC barely can make 70 fps
Theres plenty Poles in it already
@@Charlieandp Lol MB Polished
THE TACOS ARE BACK!!!
can no longer spawn to meet up with friends? have to roulette it?
yep :/
A question on Patrol zones. I understand what they mean for herbies. But when i se a Patrol Zone as a carnie, what does that mean? is it like with the migration zones, and I'm seeing a random PZ from a herbie on my diet?
yes, it's a random little migration that you can try to hunt something. As a carnivore, following migrations is always difficult :/
@@KougaArt Thank you!
I was kind of hoping the patrol zones for carnies would show a batch of AI for your species :(
I was like where did the Hordeserver go?????
Is port where sandbanks used to be? Great! More food for east plains lake.
lets hope migration zones aren't fucked :x
does the troodon also have the thing that if u hold lmb he start biting ?
he also can change places mid pounce ?
no
Great video you got a sub 👌
finally, dibble got nerf and troods got buff W UPDATE
Do you or Anyone know if Evrima has glow skin? I am currently playing the other version. Glow skins are such a cheat.
Is there a How to video of how to instal evrima
right click the isle in steam
properties
betas
put Evrima
Is this hordetesting only, or are the dino chances in the official servers too?
it's already at the Evrima branch
RIP galli bleed, you tellin me that a cassowary can disembowel ppl with the one kick and a galli can’t even pierce skin?
Could u maybe share ur theno skin presets. They look fucking amazing
