Watching a CinemaSins video of a critically-panned movie is like watching an explosion on the six-o'clock news. You know what you're seeing is bad, but you're eternally grateful you've been able to keep your distance.

The name "Jellicle" comes from an unpublished poem by Eliot entitled "Pollicle Dogs and Jellicle Cats", where "Pollicle dogs" is a corruption of "poor little dogs" and "Jellicle cats" of "dear little cats".

As someone who doesn't even know anything about the original cats, I can say for a fact, if I watched this at the cinemas, I would cry. Not even for wasting my money, just for the fact that I'd have to live with that experience.
I, and my friend, paid money to see this in theaters knowing it would be the worst thing we've ever witnessed, and in the theater was a single pair of little old ladies in the front ready to view what they most likely expected to be a masterpiece
