Congrats on 1k Subscribers!!!!!! Hey I have your grinders twin…. LOL. The table motion is butter smooth. Spindle sounds good and strong. We both made money while they went from nearly free to worth a little again. LOL. Having a surface grinder is just darn handy. Or as the old Master told his student. “Better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war”
The old 6x12 earning it's space in the shop! I don't get to use mine too often, but when I do, it's a treat!
Congrats on 1k Subscribers!!!!!!

Congratulations Doug
Thanks Gary.
Nothing wrong with that . Great result . 👍
That looks so smooth and clean.
Wasn't to bad. I could use a way to balance the wheel. Like to find another arbor so I can have 2 wheels ready to use.
@@metalworksmachineshop Chuck Bommarito was selling some wheel balancing rings over on outsidescrewball.
Very nice work
thanks Adam
Looked like a nice surface finish
Thanks. This took a little over 2hrs and I dressed the wheel 3 times. It wasn't bad. I need a way to balance the wheels
I like your grinding dust recovery system. Would it be quicker to mill it flat first and then grind it? Sorry if that makes no sense.
Once I started I was thinking the same thing. But wasn't planning on taking that much off. Thanks for the comment.
The dust collection is what makes the 6x12 the deluxe model. The cabinet below is the collection unit.
