Before you go through a door, save the game. I'm not sure how you quick save on a controller, but maybe you can hit F5 on your keyboard while using a controller? Not sure.
"Are you getting robbed?" to a vampire running away from a vigilant gotta be my new favourite moment in Skyrim. That made me laugh way more than I should have lol
In case you didn’t know, M’aiq is like the where’s Waldo of elder scrolls, he can be found in every game in random locations, even though the games take place hundreds of years apart, he is a little bit of a mystery.😊
Little tip about companions like Lydia, they can't really be killed by normal enemies, only you. So if an enemy depletes their health, they'll just drop to one knee and get back up a little later once the fighting's over. Only your hits can actually kill them permanently. So you've gotta be pretty careful when it comes to accidentally tagging them in fights!
I remember that. It was horrible and I blamed myself for killing my friend Faendel by mistake with an arrow. I wasn't going for him, I tried to kill the bandit he was fighting and he was badly wounded. 😪 I started the game over to do better when comes to having friends helping me.
This video was too hilarious with all the chaos from running from the troll, a random catman comes to assist thats ends up dead, to a bunch of other people help but you accidentally set them on fire and are now hostile to you and then right after Lydia dies from your attack as well 🧛♀️
This is the quintessential Skyrim experience, trying to keep Lydia alive, figuring out how not to antagonize the townsfolk and finding your preferred playstyle. Don't worry, we're here for the journey, we just love to relive it with you. 🙂
Vampire! And you met M'aiq! Tips: -Followers: If you talk to your follower you can trade them items to carry for you (they have their own weight limits) ; they equip better armor and weapons as well; you can also dismiss them and they'll return home or back to spawn point if a hired mercenary -Don't forget about your potions! They can really help with tough battles, like replenishing health, stamina, magic -Scrolls are a consumable 1-time use magic spell -In my opinion, after concluding business with the Greybeards is a good time to break from the main quest if you desire. Skyrim is massive and there is much to explore
M'aiq? He is a pain of a character No follower I've given him the slip by being inventive such as setting him adrift on an ice floe and blowing him away with a Shout! 😀
I don’t think there’s a right or a wrong way to play Skyrim, wandering about and discovering things is actually a good thing as you find cool stuff and side quests which aid you in the main quests. I’m enjoying that your enjoying it. I’ve played through maybe half a dozen time. There’s load of tips and pointers I’d like to give you but it’s fun to figure it out yourself. Keep going! Ps. The vampire armor is a good look for you. 💙
Thank you all so much for watching! I hope you're enjoying my journey so far! New episodes every Wed & Sat! Also, we're super close to 10k subscribers and that is crazy! Thank you!! EPISODE 9: th-cam.com/video/k6167yu_2SE/w-d-xo.html
Ok so about magic... got few tips for ya. You can use 2 spell's at a time, destruction one hand healing in the other hand and use it the *same* time. Or you can use one magic but both hands wich make it a lot stronger!!!! And yea the range of magic is pretty far when using both hands so careful with this stupid followers they like to run straight to it... About trolls ..when you using bow you can sneak attack on the wich its helpful woth long range...when they closer just use fire spells they week to fire...but keep making me laugh with your rejection to lidya 🤣😂
LOL. If Lydia starts attacking something, just keep going. She won't die and will catch up eventually. If not, fast travel a couple times and she will pop up. That vampire armor is a really nice get.
Vampire armor is my favorite. I prefer light armor anyhow, and besides being some of the nicest looking light armor, you can find it out in the world with a 100% magika regen.
Love how you treat Lydia like a naughty puppy lol Maybe replace the dagger with a better one-handed weapon(mace/axe/sword/staff) when using magic, that way once your mana has run dry you can hit them with the weapon for damage while it recharges. Keep up the fun streams, Liz! Vampire 🧛♂ 🧛♂
🦇You Wanted a Dog, instead you got a Lydia. 😂 I laughed so hard during this episode, it was hilarious the whole "Lydia, Lydia, LYDIA". Quick tip: you can equip your spells in both hands for double effect. Also, remember you have the dragon shouts as well, those are independent of your spells and magicka. Great episode, can't wait for Lydia's next death.
When you 'lead' the troll to Ivarstead you inadvertently hit one of the townspeople with you flame attack which caused them to become hostile towards you.
The diamond at the top is your GPS. When it is centered you are heading straight for your objective. You can also upgrade your armor at any workbench at any forge. You can also trade with your followers, to give them better armor so they don't die easily. Remember, regardless if you continuously die, get lost, get frustrated, it's all part of the Skyrim experience! We all had to go through it and many of us continue to clock in thousands of hours as different builds/playthroughs! Don't even let me get started on modding! Watching your fresh experience has been entertaining & a blast, Sister of Skyrim! Continue playing as you will! Blessing of Talos to you!
Keep doing what you’re doing, especially the adventuring and exploring. Joining factions and doing their quest lines is more fun than the main quest line tbh. Side quests and adventuring are what really make the game so special
Aww, thanks for bringing back Lydia! It broke my heart when she sadly passed by a misplaced arrow in the back last time... XD And really happy to see this playthrough series seems to be a success!
This was so funny - things I take for granted when playing it is quite interesting to see from a new players perspective. Your facial expressions when a random _vampire_ with a Vampire Hunter behind her came running past xD
I'am very impressed that you technically slayed both of those trolls already! If all else fails, running past enemies is a valid option, and your followers will usually be ok. Also, that vampire armor looks cool on Xena 🧛♀
LMAOO!! This playthrough is too adorable! 😭😭 I can't believe I found your channel by complete accident cuz this is golden 😂😂 I'm loving this. Btw your followers can not die from enemy damage, only when your attacks accidentally hit them while they are low on health, can they die. So yeah, you're the one who's been killing Lydia all this time 😂
I just discovered this playthrough by accident and I'm enjoying it so much! I've been playing Skyrim for years and it's so fun to see someone play it for the first time
Love seeing so many new blind playthroughs of this game! Still one of my favorites and I think it still holds up vs some of the more recent stuff. Just started a new playthrough myself with one of the Nexus collections that has Legend of the Dragonborn on it.
In one of my earlier games, Lydia died in a vampire den. I sat there and thought long and hard about it and decided to leave her dead and not load a save. I then went on to befriend another housecarl for a follower. But I totally was tempted to get her back. In the end it made for a good playthrough, though.
I was mad at her cause she kept getting in my way and I took her to my house took all her weapons and easilly killed her in the darkness of my home #huge rp
I've never had Lydia die in any of my playthroughs, but that's mainly because I never use her. I just leave her sitting in Breezehome eating bread and watching me sleep lol
I'm so glad you're having fun with this game! It really is a treat to watch you experience everything for the first time! Keep it up! To my knowledge, there is not a limit to the number of things you can have favorited. 🧛Quality of Life tip: When you pick up new pieces of armor, or new weapons - they may have a little triangle next to their name in your inventory. This indicates that it has a higher armor rating than what you currently have equipped.
Just from the intro… I am in my fifties, and have been gaming since arcade machines were a thing (think Space Invaders). I have thousands of hours of Skyrim, alone, under my belt. I have a current playthrough, where I intend to have every perk, shout, and other skills available in the Anniversary Edition of the game, including all the Creation Club content. Currently sitting at level 80, and the majority of my skills are at 100 (so I have basically played out the content, and am doing radiant missions now, and have a LONG way to go to reach my goals). I can honestly say that, on this playthrough, you are already a more skilful Skyrim player than I can ever hope to be. When playing computer games, it shouldn’t matter whether you are male, female, other, young, old, or something in-between. Games, for the most part, are there for fun. Yes there is a small, but very loud, percentage of “entitled” gamers who seem to do nothing but gatekeep. Such people exist in any hobby. My personal philosophy is to ignore them, wherever possible, and avoid them, otherwise. You do you. Play how you want to play. Even if it means not getting the “full experience” (as decided by who, exactly?). As long as you are enjoying what you are doing, more power to you. Cheers,
Mark 14:25. Haha! CONGRATULATIONS! 🎊🎉. You encountered him early on! He just said what he said because, Players, got the impression that he's an, Immortal, since he's in every game! I guess it also means that his race doesn't use, "Senior & Junior", or numbers, to keep track of the lineage. 🤔
Gatekeepers are so tiresome. I wouldn't even bother acknowledging their existence.... Yet another great episode! I like the vampire armour as well. I was laughing so much when the whole village turned out to fight the troll, then the guard just takes it down in two hits! Looking forward to the next episode :)
Yeah, this isn't some super hard Souls/Bourne game. It's Skyrim. You can make it as easy or as difficult as you want. By default, you can set difficulty in the options menu as low as very easy(Novice) all the way up to Legendary(fairly insane). If you want even more challenge, there are mods to further increase the difficulty or you can stick to specific self set limitations including but not limited to:no fast travel, permadeath, no crafting, no buying or selling, no followers, no magic, no clothing, no weapons, or any combination thereof. VAMPIRE!
I found your channel when I was looking for a recent blind Skyrim playthrough. You're doing great, and it's always fun to see people experience this game for the first time. A few tips that I hope won't spoil things: * Looks like you're already thinking about how to manage your encumbrance. The way I do it: decide on a weight to value ratio that is worth keeping. You're going to hit your carry capacity before long, and lot of weapons and armor look valuable until you consider all the other loot you can't carry if you pick them up. For example, in the early game, I generally keep things that have a value at least 10x the weight if I can't use it myself. * Animal bites have a small chance to give you a disease. In episode 7, you fought a group of skeevers and one of them gave you apaxia. New players often don't notice they're playing with a de-buff until NPCs start telling them they look sick (Acadia the Whiterun alchemist always tells you she thinks you're sick even when you're not). You'll find diseases in red under Active Effects in the Magic menu. You re-loaded an earlier save, so you don't have it now, but when you get a disease you can cure it by praying at a shrine or using a Cure Disease potion. * In this episode, you were playing in third person when you found your first trapped chest in Valheim Towers. It is very difficult to see the trigger on a trapped chest in third person, but you can see them in first person on the bottom right side of the chest. Trapped doors have similar triggers. They can be disarmed with a lockpick. (Third person is great for seeing around corners when you're sneaking) * Cooking is a surprisingly powerful game mechanic, especially for melee players. You only need one point of stamina to initiate a power attack so, for example, eating a soup that provides 1 point per second of stamina effectively gives you unlimited power attacks. * You're wearing two pieces of alchemy gear. This is very lucky; alchemy gear is sometimes hard to find. They stack, and I think you can wear four of them. Of course, it's only useful when you're at an alchemy table, and you might find something else to wear during combat. Usually at some point players tend to get into enchanting and make a full set of alchemy and/or smithing gear with stuff that doesn't weigh much to keep in their inventory or at home to use during crafting sessions. You can rename items when you enchant them, which helps because your inventory is sorted alphabetically. Good luck! Again, I'm enjoying the playthrough very much. The female vampire armor is my favorite, too.
I love this playthrough so far. I've been playing skyrim for years and watching it and it's really refreshing watching someone who's never played. Keep up the good work!
you gotta use your potions girly!!!!! they are super crucial!!! also pro tip!(use your most powerful one handed weapon when using fire! makes all of you attacks are effective! loved the video super stoked for the next one!!!! "Vampire"s are tricky be careful!
"I don't need to do everything perfect" that's the PERFECT attitude! I've found this game is most fun when I'm not trying too hard to optimize everything and be "good" at it.
Important Game Mechanic Tip: Lydia was "taking a knee" from too much damage in the fights, but you were hitting her with your fire that does Damage Over Time(DoT) which is what killed her multiple times in the Frost Troll fight. Also, give your followers only 1 arrow and no bow or weapon. This will keep them ranged using their default bow and you can benefit from gathering additional arrows of whatever type they have on them.
Watching you experience this game for the first time has been fun, it lets me experience it again vicariously. There is a lot to experience, do it at your own pace and enoy!
IF you use Pc you can open console commands by pressing ` than klick on Lidia than type "setessential 1" and insert the command (so she is immortal) that however does not mean she will not fall on the ground when on low Hp. Use this if you wish. I use it to not reload every time non-esential follower die.
I know this is old at this point, but sorry to hear people are gatekeeping. Watching this and your subnautica playthrough bc i cant experience them again for the first time. Seeing everything be novel for you is a big reason to watch blind playthroughs (to me at least). Hope you continue to enjoy fun games in your way.
It's sad that there are still people who think that gaming should only be for "boys". Gaming should be enjoyed by all. It's relaxing and we all need a break from harshness of life today. You are doing awesome. Have fun playing like you want to play. You don't have to play perfectly, just have fun. Keep up the great work! Basically with the weight they are talking about the weight to value ratio. If the weight is low but the value of the item is high, then it's worth taking it to sell. Otherwise just leave it. And one more hint: If you put fire in both hands and attack back and forth with your hands (called feathering) you actually do more damage. Don't hold the attack key and do a flamethrower approach. And remember, Vampires suck. rofl
(no spoilers): Just because you are wondering about meeting different folks on your travels: On a technical level the world of Skyrim is divided into cells and as soon as you enter a cell random encounters are generated. This can be anything from bunnies, bards, merchants, bandits, or even 2 factions battling each other in all kinds of ways. This even happens when you fast travel to a location, then load your last save again and fast travel to that location again. So its perfectly normal to see different things, even when this is your third playthrough and you played 1000 hours already there is a chance that you meet someone you never encountered before. Anyway: I love your blind playthrough, its a joy to see you experience the game for the very first time! Don't worry so much and don't let anyone drag your mood down!
🧛♀As a side note, for all people watching, little bit of gun safety rules: if you're going to shoot, always be mindful of what is behind or close next to your target. If there is anything there you don't want to kill, don't shoot and either re-position yourself until there's nothing close to your target, or switch to a close quarters weapon. That goes quadruple when firing what basically amounts to a flamethrower. "Being so careful" with it is just not going to cut it, as you can clearly see in this video. :P Have a nice day, and safe shooting!
Pro tip - you can level up in the middle of combat and regain all your resources. So if you know your in for a tough fight, you can hold off on a level up until your in trouble. Side note - companions have different combat styles. For magic users you may want an archer like Faendal, or another mage because they will generally stay out of the way more. Keep it up!
I'm especially enjoying you experiencing iconic Skyrim moments. Dying to a Troll. Complaining about Lydia getting in the way. Got my hopes up when you saw those creatures at Guldun Rock. I say go for it before you are too high a level, but save first. I also look forward to watching you try to become a vampire.
A lot of the fun of this game is just exploring the game on your own and finding stuff naturally. don't listen to people that try to tell you play a specific way. Love your playthrough so far and it's made me want to jump back into this game.
Loved this! The struggle is real on both keeping followers alive and aggro'ing NPC's (Whoops!) Good work avoiding the giants and that frost troll. I learned to ignore my followers wanting to jump into combat and just move on, they'll come along eventually.
This is my favorite Skyrim video! I couldn't stop laughing at all the shenanigans with Lydia and the troll. Loving this series so far, can't wait for more!
Not gonna lie ive never really liked watching gaming playthroughs but watching you blind play has been awesome! Its always cool seeing how someone reacts to a game that you have loved. Truly amazing content, keep up the good work!!
I'm so impressed you could stealth past that ice troll. I don't think I've ever succeeded in getting past it without a fight. I've also never encountered a vampire hunter chasing a vampire on the road before. I've encountered them separately, but never together. This game still has surprises after all this time.
make sure you enjoy Skyrim as much as you can, most of us would kill to go back and experience it for the first time. love the videos, just play the way you want to play and don’t listen to back seaters 🧛♂️
This has been such a great series. I love watching you on this natural journey into understanding why every Skyrim player is naturally drawn to mods. Where every annoyance can be addressed. I mean it's good to at least get good amount of experience in the vanilla game but when you can have things like mods that just stop you from accidentally killing and aggroing NPC's all the time etc, it's really impossible to go back.
If you have a good NPC attack you, putting your weapon away will often calm them. Guards will stop fighting (unless you have an extremely high bounty) and arrest you. There are certain locations in the game, where events called random encounters occur. M'aiq is one of the most amusing random encounters you can have. Oh yeah, a *vampire* can also be a random encounter.
As a Skyrim veteran have been since I was young, I've got to say I love your play through, and I have to say it's refreshing to see a blind play through. Also have to say it's a shame you have to explain every episode about being gatekeeped let the lass explore her first play through naturally. Keep up the work and hopefully see you for the ES6 when it finally releases!
I’ve been playing this game for so long now. I find pleasure from character building and role playing but it’s such a pleasure to see someone experience this game with the initial joy and wonder that gets lost through time.
Love watching this. I played it blind also and was also just as confused by the same stuff. I was hoping you would attack the giant though. 😂 it’s a quick trip to the moon.
I mean , you are doing something right . Im hooked ! Seen 8 episodes , and so glad to see that there is 60+ episodes out 😎! So refreshing to see a new take at the game i fell in love with so many years ago . Cant wait for elder scrolls 6! Enjoy youre first take , and many more to come im sure ! Cheers from Norway
Me and my brother are having fun watching this, the frost troll part was hilarious! I always remember fondly encountering the frost troll on my way to High Hrothgar the first time I played. One of my favourite games!
Awesome vampire clothes! Good idea using fire against trolls. I hope you feel confident playing how you want to play. Having fun is the most important thing.
Seeing someone having their first time in this gem is so funny 😂 after u get a better understanding of the game, this is not for sure your last run. Also the fact u going double handed for your first run shows guts
Nice job! Glad to see you're having a good time in Skyrim. I love how you're trying a lot of different weapons and spells. Was laughing when you encountered the vampire hunter and vampire... and just killed them both. Like you aint got no time to figure out their problems today. Done and done.
You did a wise thing at the start. The giants are mostly peacefull but they don't like you coming to close. Until you are much stronger, stay away from them. You should just accept all quests. You don't fail if you don't do them right away. There's no time limit and you can do quests in any order you want. If your follower gets to annoying, you can dismiss them at any time. They will go back to where they belong (in Lydia's case, Whiterun), and you can get them to follow you again later. Love your VAMPIRE outfit.
That VAMPIRE armor looks amazing! Sorry but i laughed a lot, that darn Troll is a nightmare! but hey, you managed it very nicely..! keep the good work! Great Video!
I have to say, when I saw you coming close to that giant camp, lvl 5, all I was thinking was you'd soon be able to see your house in the distance. Glad your instincts kick in. Trolls have nothing on a giant.
Vampire armour looks good on you ! You don't get many companions in the game, so they are worth holding onto, especially Lydia! You can get them to wait at your home, when you get one, or wait in places while you scout ahead, just don't forget where you asked them to wait. Dark dungeons aren't a good place to ask them to wait as they can be difficult to find again! You can trade items with your companion to make them better, armour, health potions, weapons etc. just take their old stuff off them so they begin using the new items. Happy wandering off the beaten track !
Kickin' butt , keep having fun ! Skyrim is a adventure, you cannot go wrong wandering around or getting lost. Pay no attention to folks critical of how you explore The map is almost endless
If you run the mobs will stop chasing you after a while, and if you lose Lydia you can fast travel and she'll be with you again. Obviously if she dies that won't happen, but USUALLY she'll be safe on her own. She can get stuck some places in dungeons too by the way, then you have to wait 2 or 3 days or something and go pick her back up from Dragons Reach where you met her or your home if you have one. It was great seeing you beat the troll, sucks that you had to reload for Lydia. Not sure if you're aware but even in battle you can switch down your difficulty level if it isn't already down to novice, giving you a better chance of getting through those OP monsters. Great episode, thanks for the video. :)
I know this is months old, but if anyone else is playing for the first time -- that chest at the end of the stairs that you drop off the supplies in is a safe chest (non-respawning) that you can stash extra junk in until you can buy a house. You can fast travel back and forth to it pretty easily since that's where the High Hrothgar fast travel spits you out at. Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one who had problems keeping Lydia alive at first. Mine had a run-in with a giant's club and ended up on the other side of Skyrim. 😂
Catching back up on this playthrough! I got busy but I promise I haven't forgotten about your videos. I look forward to seeing all your adventures in Skyrim!
I know I'm a year late but the fact that you're fighting trolls without using the healing or healing potions had me so stressed - but it's also quite impressive, lol. Loving this series!
The key to fighting trolls at low level is to move forward and back as quickly as possible. Forward to allow the troll to swing and move back so that the troll misses. When the troll misses run up quick and swing your weapon a few times and then run back. Keep your distance. Sometimes you'll have one chance before moving back without getting hit. If the troll starts to raise his arms and growl you can go up and hit it a few times. Since you have a follower, another tip is to kite the Troll while casting destruction magic. But also run up then back so it stops to allow Lydia to swing her sword and hit the troll. Don't distance yourself too far from the troll (or most enemies for that matter) because the troll will turn and focus on the person closer to them, which would be Lydia.
Loving this playthrough, it's been so entertaining to see someone else experience the same struggles I did when I first played the game. The trolls are pretty high level compared to the player in the earlier game if I understand correctly, so they're a pretty big threat until you have some better gear. Your chest armor that you have one is pretty fantastic in terms of armor scaling as you upgrade it too, and I love the vampire questline and can't wait for you to experience it as well! You're doing great! Take the game at your own pace and explore as much as you can. Even 1000+ hours in I'm still finding small details that I missed in other playthroughs so you honestly never really run out of things to find :)
vampire! oh lydia. companions are a great help but my word they can be a pain sometimes. and the frost troll is probably one of the hardest fights in the game on first play through! glad you got past finally.
when you are getting nervous, save the game, when you see something new, save the game, when you blink, save the game.
^good advice
But also......don't....blink. Whatever you do, don't blink! Blink and you're D E A D
Before you go through a door, save the game. I'm not sure how you quick save on a controller, but maybe you can hit F5 on your keyboard while using a controller? Not sure.
@@BretekVI always save like, every 3-5 minutes. Never know when my beautiful Skyrim decides to boot me to desktop😅
When you say Lydia, save the game.
I'm waiting for her to have her first experience with the "Skyrim Space Program". It almost happened this episode.
Pow! Zoom! Straight to moon!
Yeah, she was much wiser with the giant than I was my first time.
Lol. That happened to me for the first time near Whiterun.
Oh it's coming
I was screaming at my screen "DON'T DO IT" lol good times
"Are you getting robbed?" to a vampire running away from a vigilant gotta be my new favourite moment in Skyrim. That made me laugh way more than I should have lol
Straight up murdered to death the Vigilant for attacking her "vampire friend." 😅
The way the second guy runs in with his casting hands killed me lol
In case you didn’t know, M’aiq is like the where’s Waldo of elder scrolls, he can be found in every game in random locations, even though the games take place hundreds of years apart, he is a little bit of a mystery.😊
Well, his father was also called M'aiq. And his father, and his father's father. At least, that's what his father said.
LoL!
I didn't know that's how that worked.
That’s why I like a follower that uses long range attacks. If they are further away from the middle of the battle, makes it easier to not kill them.
Oh the number of times I've reloaded after Fus Ro Dah'ing Lydia's last health point because I lost track of her location
I lost most of mine to falmer/chaurus and their poison
The Lydia antics were killing me. "Lydia? Lydia. Lydia!" 😂😂 Had fun watching! Thanks! 🧛♂️
This video was too hilarious with all the chaos from running from the troll, a random catman comes to assist thats ends up dead, to a bunch of other people help but you accidentally set them on fire and are now hostile to you and then right after Lydia dies from your attack as well 🧛♀️
I think the random Khajiit was a Skooma dealer...
This is the quintessential Skyrim experience, trying to keep Lydia alive, figuring out how not to antagonize the townsfolk and finding your preferred playstyle. Don't worry, we're here for the journey, we just love to relive it with you. 🙂
Vampire! And you met M'aiq!
Tips:
-Followers: If you talk to your follower you can trade them items to carry for you (they have their own weight limits) ; they equip better armor and weapons as well; you can also dismiss them and they'll return home or back to spawn point if a hired mercenary
-Don't forget about your potions! They can really help with tough battles, like replenishing health, stamina, magic
-Scrolls are a consumable 1-time use magic spell
-In my opinion, after concluding business with the Greybeards is a good time to break from the main quest if you desire. Skyrim is massive and there is much to explore
Lot of good pro tips for players new to the game!
I agree. Don't follow the main quest. Go adventuring.
M'aiq? He is a pain of a character No follower I've given him the slip by being inventive such as setting him adrift on an ice floe and blowing him away with a Shout! 😀
Lydia constantly dying is a rite of passage in Skyrim!
Don't forget triggering traps:)
Reminds me of the good old days of her helping me practice Fus Ro Dah on the slopes of High Hrothgar.
just kill her and get the gold, its more useful
If the player would stop shooting her with arrows and setting her on fire Lydia would be fine.
Lydia never died in any of my playthroughs.... that is because I always played stealth characters, so I never used any companion.
fr we all started like this when skyrim first came out on the 360 and ps
@@AK40_29 true that
The only right way is the way that is fun for you.
The only wrong way to play Skyrim is to not play Skyrim at all 😊
Thank you all so much for watching!
Love how you treat Lydia like a naughty puppy lol
Maybe replace the dagger with a better one-handed weapon(mace/axe/sword/staff) when using magic, that way once your mana has run dry you can hit them with the weapon for damage while it recharges.
Keep up the fun streams, Liz! Vampire 🧛♂ 🧛♂
You're doing great, Liz! Very entertaining. Thank you for taking us all on this journey with you!
Fun fact about the giants you encountered: They can help you become an astronaut.
And worth doing at least once just to see what happens...
@@chadmueller6128 true, just do a quicksave before the encounter :D
This was so funny - things I take for granted when playing it is quite interesting to see from a new players perspective. Your facial expressions when a random _vampire_ with a Vampire Hunter behind her came running past xD
Vampire!! I think this was my favorite video yet, the hilarity of Lydia dying over and over had me laughing out loud
I've been playing Skyrim for years and it's so fun to see someone play it for the first time
Liz is a rockstar 🎉
Love seeing so many new blind playthroughs of this game! Still one of my favorites and I think it still holds up vs some of the more recent stuff. Just started a new playthrough myself with one of the Nexus collections that has Legend of the Dragonborn on it.
In one of my earlier games, Lydia died in a vampire den. I sat there and thought long and hard about it and decided to leave her dead and not load a save. I then went on to befriend another housecarl for a follower. But I totally was tempted to get her back. In the end it made for a good playthrough, though.
Living with Skyrim consequences is Real Ultimate Skyrim.
You shoulda seen me after Meeko died in battle because I cast Courage on him.
She rarely lives in my playthroughs lol something usually happens
I was mad at her cause she kept getting in my way and I took her to my house took all her weapons and easilly killed her in the darkness of my home #huge rp
I've never had Lydia die in any of my playthroughs, but that's mainly because I never use her. I just leave her sitting in Breezehome eating bread and watching me sleep lol
@@carlgibson285 if you kill her you get gold
Xena's looking good in her vampire outfit. This was a wonderfully chaotic episode. Loved it.
Cheers,
Lydia is the goat of companions, she carries our burden
Mark 14:25.
VAMPIRE!
I agree! Thank you so much for your support!!
I found your channel when I was looking for a recent blind Skyrim playthrough. You're doing great, and it's always fun to see people experience this game for the first time.
A few tips that I hope won't spoil things:
* Looks like you're already thinking about how to manage your encumbrance.
(Third person is great for seeing around corners when you're sneaking)
* Cooking is a surprisingly powerful game mechanic, especially for melee players.
I feel for Lydia, I've adventured (d&d) with an over excited pyro-mage as well.
I love this playthrough so far. I've been playing skyrim for years and watching it and it's really refreshing watching someone who's never played. Keep up the good work!
I wanted to see a sky launch so badly. 😂
Same 😆
oh that lol.
you gotta use your potions girly!!!!! they are super crucial!!! also pro tip!(use your most powerful one handed weapon when using fire! makes all of you attacks are effective! loved the video super stoked for the next one!!!! "Vampire"s are tricky be careful!
This game has the best sound track from the last 10 years
Best sound track ever
32:04 i love how at this part it just looks like you’re pushing back against the troll’s head like it’s a small child
Haha you're right! Thank you for the time stamp!
I love how long your videos are. The longer the better so we can experience every step with you 😍. Also when is the next part of resident evil 2 out?
The videos are also well edited.
"I don't need to do everything perfect" that's the PERFECT attitude! I've found this game is most fun when I'm not trying too hard to optimize everything and be "good" at it.
Ah yes you now know Lydia's hidden power. Constant self destruction
Vampire!
What a great journey up the 7000 steps 😂 damn Lydia, not surprised she managed to mess up your stealthyness haha
The number of times I died to that frost troll before realizing I could climb the rocks and snipe it 😂 🧛♀️
I love your playtrough!! I find your reactions so natural and relatable, its so fun
That frost troll on the way up the mountain is just about a major big boss battle.
And remember, Vampires suck. rofl
Thank you so much! I definitely agree!
(no spoilers):
Just because you are wondering about meeting different folks on your travels:
On a technical level the world of Skyrim is divided into cells and as soon as you enter a cell random encounters are generated.
Accidentally finds the fastest, safest way from Whiterun to Iverstead, reloads and takes a new way. Love it.
The whole idea with Skyrim is that it is what you make it into. Keep it up and remember to enjoy it!
vampires. You tried to help the vampire. lol
Yay!! You’ve been blessed by an encounter with M’aiq! He’s a super rare to find traveling friend :DDD
I found your channel just with this skyrim playthrough,
i'm excited for the day that you will discover what is the music of life. :)
Lol it's adorable listening to you say how valuable Lydia's life is. Normally people have the opposite opinion of her
make sure you enjoy Skyrim as much as you can, most of us would kill to go back and experience it for the first time. love the videos, just play the way you want to play and don’t listen to back seaters 🧛♂️
Vampire armor is awesome and some of my save files are me being a vampire instead of a werewolf
If this playthrough turns into the adventures of Xena, Vampire Princess - I'd be 100% OK with that! Loving the series Liz
I’ve been playing this game for so long now. I find pleasure from character building and role playing but it’s such a pleasure to see someone experience this game with the initial joy and wonder that gets lost through time.
Leading the troll to the townspeople just to ignite their ass and kill lydia in the process was just pure entertainment LOL
Hope you beat all the trolls ingame and ignore all the trolls irl. Love your vids, keep up the great work 😊🧛♀️
Seeing someone having their first time in this gem is so funny 😂 after u get a better understanding of the game, this is not for sure your last run. Also the fact u going double handed for your first run shows guts
Great episode!!!
M'aiq the liar, a cool vampire outfit "I will look sick in this!!!", the whole Lydia saga🤣🤣🤣.
Pay no attention to folks critical of how you explore
The map is almost endless
These have been really fun to watch. Dont worry about the criticism about how you play. I wish I could play Skyrim again for the first time.
There is no right way to play Skyrim, you play it how you want to. Your play through is thoroughly entertaining. Another top video
That frost troll has killed more Skyrim characters than anything else in Tamriel.
Haha I was such a newb back then! Thank you so much! I'm glad you're having fun!
