    major Mustapha do what you need to do! You know what to do! Stop the degeneration. The military can step in temporarily to clear the ground and stabilize things and then hold a credible election to install the rightful democratic choice of the people! You know what to do! Niger and Mali are smaller countries than Nigeria and they took their destiny into their own hands! A word is enough for the wise.

    • @victoredwards3959

      Carrying out a coup is 100 times more difficult than it was 30 years ago, also coup tends to happen within the ranks of majors and Colonels , unfortunately this roles are so fragmented and decentralised , to the point that it will be difficult to organise and implement a coup, and for the coup to be successful, you will need to secure your bothers and positioned loyal officers and battalion officers in major cities, like Kano , kaduna, zamfara, boron , adamawa , sokoto, federal capital, Lagos , Oyo, , and more importantly all south east states , cross river, rivers , all need bigger security. Make no mistake this not an easy task.

    • @christianabu8447
      @christianabu8447 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@victoredwards3959 Agreed but it is doable. It cannot be more difficult than it was in Niger, Mali and burkinafaso which were countries with strong french presence in terms of french battalion and intelligence. it was still carried out. out of those regiments and infantry corps you mentioned, some are more strategic than others and if they are captured other units would not be in any position to put fruitful resistance. Moreover, coups do not need the officers to all be in one location. The '66 coup was not centralized in kaduna, it all depends on the ability to organize. Since this is a public platform not everything will be said in public but it can be done. The formula is a tried and tested one and if factors align it can be done. Coups are not the purview of senior officers, they might be aware but they are not the foot soldiers for such operations. There is a reason those recent coups in those countries are led by young officer presidents.

    Given the current stock of political class that currently operates on our continent, the only possible way forward is for a open-ended 'rotational military' rule that exists on a mandate to achieve a smooth transition into the newly created civilian rule.
    Once the Federal code takes effect, then the work to create a fit-for-purpose civilian government begins.
    In my opinion, we are to allow the process to run for a century at the very least.

    I know majority of our youths will be carried away by Maj. Almustapha sweet words because they don't really know him, but for those of us who are old enough to witness his reign of terrors during his Boss Gen. Sani Abacha regime can never be moved by his deception. My dear Major please explain to the young ones how you and your boss pauperized Nigerians in the 90s.

    Asking for advice from this class of men is a clear indication of how the Nigerian people are bankrupt of memory and history.this is one of the devil incarnates during the regime of the ( Butcher) Abacha, he is saying this because he is no longer in power. Unfortunately, those with brief knowledge of him are applauding. Our mumu continues.

      Thank you. You know you cannot blame a lot of these bloggers because many of them don't know anything about Nigeria past. I can see lots of praise singers here endorsing their newly found 'Mr. President to be '. I can forgive anyone doing this who is below forty years old because such person was not yet born or was still a teenager between 1983 and 1999. If we have anyone who is forty five years of age or above and lived in Nigeria during the military regime and most especially during Abacha regime and he/she is one of the people singing praises here there is a need to take a very serious look at his/her brain.

It takes discipline to eradicate the decay in the Nigerian political space. When a man like this is spiting out facts only a fool who does not understand what it means to be patriotic will condemn his submissions.

    Who are in the war front? The military or the civilians? Do not let anyone deceive you that with military in power all this insecurity will stop. Take a look at the sahel region of Africa where military took over rules using insecurity as excuses. Have they been able to successfully fight insecurity in those places even with presence of Russia and Russian mercenaries? No. The insecurity is rather getting worse.
