My father was a devotee of St. Joseph who died in the year Pope Francis proclaimed the year of St. Joseph. Before he died, I asked the priest to give him the last rights, I was told the priest can’t do it due to the pandemic. I prayed to St. Joseph to take care of my father. A few minutes after he died, I went to my backyard. I noticed the backyard was covered with turtle doves, which I have never seen before and I never saw them flying in and fly away. When I read the Gospel of St. Luke, especially, the presentation of our Lord Jesus where they give turtle doves as an offering, I was quickly reminded of that moment at my backyard covered with turtle doves. I firmly believe St. Joseph helped my father.
Thanks God for honest, streightforward priests like father Callaway. The Catholic Church has an urgent need of priests like him. May the Lord continue to bless him copiously!!!!!!
Wow I’m so blown away that this blessed man came to my church 7 years ago in Idaho (only 12) and I remember his life story was so incredibly fascinating but I was tired and falling asleep and we made eye contact and I felt so bad because I didn’t want him to think he was a bore, and here I am listening to the same father who I had no idea came to my church, I’m drawn to him because he speaks through the Holy Spirit, but I clicked on this video only because of one small thing clinging to the trust that Jesus will lead me to something bigger as he always does when we search for him. I use your version of the Litany of St Joseph daily. We must thank Pope John XXIII for adding his name to the Canon of the Mass [Now the First Eucharistic Prayer]. It was added to the other Eucharistic Prayers later. I was pleased when the current Pope declared a Year of St Joseph as I had long considered him to be the 'Forgotten Saint'.
