I was at summer camp at Camp Cris Dobbins in Elbert. We were evacuated to the basement below the dining hall which was designed as a tornado shelter. The power went out. It was cramped and stuffy. People were scared. It touched down 30 minutes away 😬.
Yeah… So I was on a boat on Chatfield lake that day. We got word of the storm and headed home and within a minute of walking in the door all my radios went off( for the tornado warning). I wasn’t able to film it but it was crazy so i made it home and was ok Great video! 😊
just experienced a PDS here in NC too from debbie. unfortunately it was right for my town and an EF3 tornado passed 2 miles from my home in the middle of the night.
I REMEMBER SEEING THESE ON IEMBOT. THEY WERE INSANE. 5 PDS IN 1 DAY! I EVEN CAUGHT ONE ON CAMERA AND A DESTRUCTIVE SVR FOR MY AREA! I ALSO CAUGHT IT ON MY PHONE!
I was in that alert at timestamp 4:06. I saw large hail. This wasn’t normal for my area, it was far from normal. I measured it and it looked to be golf ball size hail. And the hail was falling sideways. I could barely see a thing since it was raining like hell.
I live in the Dixon Illinois area and it’s dry asf but on Sunday hopefully he get rain also I hope we get severe wether because I got 2 wether radios and they have never gone off. Edit1: I’m in a day 3 general thunder risk it that may get upgraded

Colorado is somewhat part of tornado alley. that's why. I rate this tornado as EF4, mostly because i've seen the damage on the news. it was terrifying. the tornado destroyed many barns, houses, and buildings. trees were uprooted or snapped, vehicles were thrown 1 mile away from the tornado. this was honestly a unusual and devastating catastrophe...
