Cherif Hashizume is a producer, DJ, songwriter, and innovator. Known for his unconventional approach, he integrates AI, interactive installations, and VR into his compositions and productions, creating unique works both in sound and process.
As the lead engineer and collaborator with Jon Hopkins for the past decade, Cherif has worked with renowned artists like David Byrne, Brian Eno, King Creosote, Kelly Lee Owens, and PVT. Beyond his work with Hopkins, Cherif co-produced Ilā's debut album "Mesonoxian," praised by Line of Best Fit as “a gorgeous listen from start to end,” and remixed Manu Delago's "Nightliner (Delta Sleep Reworks)."
Cherif's talents extend to live performance, having shared stages with top electronic artists such as Plaid, Max Cooper, and HAAi. His diverse body of work showcases his versatility across mediums and formats, consistently highlighting his innovation and boundless imagination.
