A recommendation to avoid maybe another mishap similar to this from happening is to consider getting a separate microphone system independently which can be overlaid on the footage captured. Just a thought for anyone in the vlogging community.

I just see an endless nightmare of sync issues doing that, with the audio and video completely out of sync.
