Apologies if you can hear the air con in the background! We are going through a heat wave where I'm living at the moment and I needed to keep it on whilst filming so I didn't pass out 😅 Enjoy the video! xx
There honestly is no colourting style nicer than Rita's, so cheerful and happy! Can't wait to see more of your colouring, maybe a colour along from one of Rita's books could be an idea for a future video? Great video as always. xx
I can’t wait for the flower video. I need all the help I can get in that area. I am thrilled with today’s video as well. My coloring pages are a hot mess.
You did a marvelous job on all three of these pictures!! 👏👏 It's a really great progression as well!! 👍 Awesome video!! 🥰 A video idea: How to color like Rita Berman in Johanna Basford's ...?
What perfect timing , I was just wondering how I could make my current page look more like Rita's style. Need to go back to the other ones and take full on notes 😆 Beautiful colouring in the little pictures
Once again a wonderful video, you are so heartwarming that listening to you and watching the beautiful things you show us is simply a blessing...🥰😘💫❤️💫
Her work is so beautiful and inspiring. Her use of color has really helped me think outside the box. I think all three turned out beautifully but my favorite is probably the first one. I'm a sucker for anything water related and my blues and greens are noticeably the smallest pencils in my collection 😂 Everyone is on a different journey but after spending a lot of time stressing over shadows and shading I decided that It was more fun and rewarding for me to just color. I've noticed that my style is evolving and I'm getting better about shading and highlights but I don't stress much about it. For me I think having my skills and style evolve organically has helped me relax and just have fun. I'm a huge fan of my glitter gel pens and use them on every single page. I just love glitter and I'm not sorry 😂
I can definitely keep that video in mind! In the meantime, I have briefly addressed the difference between the two in this video here! Hopefully that helps in the interim 💖🌈 The BEST BUDGET PENCILS for Amazon Coloring Books!? // ARRTX Review ✏️ th-cam.com/video/43l56ySnRRk/w-d-xo.html
This is so refreshing to watch. Im starting to get sick of the Bold and Easy hype. Its ruined most FB groups, it's taken over everything. (i own one btw so its not that i dont like them, they r just too overhyped)
I struggle with what to do once I choose a color palette. If the color palette only has 5 colors, that's often not enough colors for a full page, so do I choose 2 color palette? Or do I use the color palette colors as the "medium" shade and then find a light and dark shade to go with each one so that I have 15 colors? I often start with a color palette and then while working on the page there may be grass or something, so I add a green and then it doesn't flow anymore because I added a color that doesn't go with the palette. I struggle haha!
I’ve actually filmed a couple of videos on this topic! Here’s the links to them. I personally cant hear your air in the back ground but truth be told id much rather hear it and you be ok than not and you getting sick or more serious
Happy Australia/Invasion Day (dep on your politics) to all Aussies. I've been sequestered inside since Thursday colouring and sorting out my growing art supplies. Remember when colouring was pencils and paper/books? Now I have an exponentially growing collection of water soluble/oil /powder/pan pastels; watercolour paints+pencils; acrylic pens+markers; water + alcohol markers; anything metallic for blinging -- am I the only one seeking the colouring holy grail: materials necessary to create the perfect background? 🙄🙄🙄
I think the majority of my supplies are for backgrounds because I absolutely hate doing backgrounds with colored pencils.. lots of times I j don’t even do the backgrounds so I’m not sure why I have so many supplies for backgrounds.. 😂
